Strengths:
- Small: If ever against another walker it could possibly do damage under and or hide under walkers where their advantage takes place, also having better speeds.
- Strong Armor: When the other hull has given up theirs a backup layer of hull which is Alusteel and will protect until the death of the pilots
- Targeting Systems: When targeting an enemy it is useful, it will automatically fire homing missiles into the enemy and proves useful against moving targets.
- At-ST model: Having an upgraded model of the AT-ST proves worthy, however old tech against new wont fair well in an all out battle, that's why these are used against smaller vehicles and destroying turrets.
- One big cannon: Having the heavy weight capacity it makes it tougher, it's still fast enough but also when shooting at enemies it's a single shot and takes time to reload
- Not small enough?: It is small yes and there are advantages but, it is over the head of a soldier, and an advanced or skilled soldier could easily slide under and damage it, and or plant any type of explosive and then (rip atm-aaw)
The ATL-AAW was an imposing fierce piece of the Forgotten Defeat and is always used in battle situations, a walker that stood 4 meters high and proud carrying the weight of 12 tonnes, also serving as Recon Scout walkers and usually used in the front lines only, and ahead. Like any normal tank it has a cannon that stands out far and with a shell of 250MM, a shell that will decimate 2-3 squads. Inside were 2 pilots, a gunner and a officer, outside the vehicle was a gunner which usually looked out and ahead for enemies around and in front of. They were invulnerable to blaster bolts and laser fire but not smart rockets, missiles, and heavy explosives and bombardments. They were weak to EMP's like most were and or are, but usually tended to stay shut down for a period of time until fixed.
It was big enough for a soldier to crawl under and place explosives, which was it's weak point and spot, and if any type of soldier were to give enough fire power such as from an E-Web or blaster turret the vehicle would have injured hull and would require a backup engine and generator. It had an easy escape which was located on the top of the AT-ST walker/crawler, it would allow an escape at ease, though enemies can or could use this as a tactic to throw and or toss in explosives and thermals. It could withstand a thermal imploder but 2 would destroy it completely. Having the ease of access turret on the top of the AT-ST head it'd be easy to shoot down enemy aircraft and or lower ground units, though serving little protection to and for the gunner. The walker's three legs were aided with the assistance of ankle drive motors, while inside the giant footpads were several terrain scanners. The old design inspired a few, and that was rare.
