  • Can become unbalanced when carrying vehicles on only one side
DESCRIPTION

Although the All Terrain Heavy Salvage Walker possesses unparalleled lifting power when compared to other vehicles in Mahporeem service, its usage is not always appropriate for every given situation that it might be called for. As such, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has developed the All Terrain Light Salvage Walker in response to this, although the usage of the word "light" is something of a misnomer.

Based upon the chassis of a standard All Terrain Armored Transport, the AT-LSW works in much the same manner of its even more massive cousin, possessing a pair of heavy duty crane arms that can lift large loads with ease. The AT-LSW is capable of lifting and repairing two small to medium sized vehicles at the same time.

As one might imagine, the AT-LSW is a rather enticing target for enemy attack, although it is heavily armed and armored. As such, the AT-LSW should not be used as a front line combatant, though it is more than capable of being pushed into this role should push come to shove. Of course, keeping the AT-LSW away from any sort of fighting is generally a wise idea.

  • Textile: Jumpmaster Armor is issued with a textile scarf and hood, which helps to combat cold temperatures during high altitude flight.
WEAKNESSES
  • Aerial: The use of a Jetpack with Jumpmaster Armor brings a host of disadvantages with it, such as increased weight and higher risk of an operational accident.
  • Lightly armored: Jumpmaster Armor is rather fragile and cannot stand up to sustained damage for long.
  • Coverage: The actual armored components of Jumpmaster Armor offer poor coverage on the body.
  • Heavy: Jumpmaster Armor is far more heavy to wear when equipped with a Jetpack.
  • Human only: Jumpmaster Armor is not compatible with most other species of alien.
  • No parachute: Should the user's Jetpack fail during flight, there is no way to stop or slow their inevitable descent.
  • High altitude: User's of Jumpmaster Armor must be aware of their altitude at all times, as the armor only offers moderate resistance to cold and no backup oxygen.
DESCRIPTION

The use of Jetpacks is relatively scarce within the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant, and for good reason, as Jetpacks can be rather dangerous pieces of equipment. In addition to the fact that carrying a Jetpack is akin to carrying a live fuel cell on your back, their is essentially no way to stop someone from hurtling downwards to their death should the Jetpack fail or malfunction.

That being said, the Imperial Remnant does understand the tactical advantages of using Jetpacks, and as such as developed a set of armor to go with the use of such equipment. Jumpmaster Armor is essentially modified Scout Trooper Armor that can be used in tandem with most models of Jetpacks. The armor is lightweight, comes equipped with a variety of different storage options, and offers moderate resistance toward cold temperatures encountered when operating at high altitude.

Of course, the armor is, much like Scout Trooper Armor, relatively fragile and unable to withstand sustained damage or heavy fire. The armor also does not come equipped with any sort of oxygen tanks, meaning that its user must take care not to fly to far up into the atmosphere, lest they risk passing out from lack of oxygen, and by extension, certain death.

  • Two modes of fire allow for additional tactical flexibility
  • Relatively large magazine size when used on "blob" setting
  • Particularly effective at destroying electronic components and wiring
WEAKNESSES
  • Short effective range
  • Somewhat inaccurate
  • Large size and somewhat awkward shape
  • High potential for friendly fire due to acid splash
  • Relatively small magazine when used on "stream" setting
  • Highly dangerous when used on ships due to potential for hull breaches
DESCRIPTION

Since rejoining the greater galactic community, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has been encountering Force-Sensitives in far larger numbers than anticipated. Men like Ronhar Tane Ronhar Tane have found themselves face to face with both Jedi and Sith, oftentimes engaging in personal combat with them. To effectively fight these threats, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has begin investing in anti-force technologies, producing a number of different weapons that are specifically tailored to take down Jedi and Sith.

As a direct response to the organic horrors encountered on Brosi, the Imperial Remnant has begun the production of Acid Rifles. These weapons, as their namesake might suggest, fire concentrated "streams" or individual "blobs" of acid toward their targets. The acid used in this weapon is highly corrosive, able to melt or "chew through" most materials with ease.

Against Jedi and Sith, acid is difficult to fully block with a lightsaber, as the potential for the acid to "splash" its victim is always present. While another potent weapon against Jedi and Sith, the Acid Rifle is not without its flaws, as it is a relatively short ranged weapon and prone to committing friendly fire with its acid splashing. That being said, these are small tradeoffs for a weapon of its destructive potential.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
PRODUCTION INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Emits low-frequency neurosonic and EM pulses that agitate cognitive centers used in Force concentration
  • Radius of effect: ~25 to 30 meters, depending on local interference
  • Provides a secondary effect of interfering with enemy electronics, such as commlinks, sensors and guided missile systems.
  • Radius of effect: ~40 to 45 meters, depending on local interference
  • Provides a tertiary effect of disturbing certain species of wildlife, discouraging them from approaching the device.
  • Radius of effect: ~35 to 40 meters, depending on local interference
  • Multi-unit resonance scaling for team deployment
STRENGTHS
  • Anti-Force: As was intended by Selrik Lorcas's previous iteration of the deice, the obvious draw of the ----- is its ability to disrupt a Force user's ability to focus, causing difficulty concentrating on advanced Force techniques like telekinesis, mind tricks, or Battle Meditation.
  • Team Amplification: The use of multiple units in a single location can either extend the effective range of the device or amplify its anti-force effect on a particular target.
  • Hard to Resist: Much like the technology it was based on, the ----- targets the user's mind, not the Force itself—bypassing some conventional Force defenses.
  • Electronic Jammer: Unlike its previous iterations, the ----- provides electronic disruption capabilities, boosting its versatility.
  • Wildlife Repellent: The ----- has the curious effect of repelling certain species of wildlife, causing them to avoid the ---- entirely. This feature may have future applications against Sithspawn.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Effect on Non-Force Sensitives: The ----- offers no known advantages against Non Force-Sensitive targets, besides its ability to interfere with electronics.
  • Shielded/Resilient Minds: Highly trained or enraged Force users (especially Sith) may power through the disorientation.
  • Fragile: The ----- is highly fragile and susceptible to being damaged, even from accident knocks and bumps.
  • Temperamental: The ----- requires constant adjustment to ensure that it is working at maximum efficiency, and may require frequent recalibration of its systems.
  • Indiscriminate: The ----- does not differentiate friend from foe. All force users, regardless of affiliation, will be targeted by the -----, and friendly electronics must be calibrated against the EM pulses and frequencies used by the device.
  • Inconvenient: The ----- is too large and bulky to be carried by a single trooper for extended periods of time but is also too small to require specialized transport, making it perfectly inconvenient to carry.
DESCRIPTION

The anti-force technology created by Selrik Lorcas Selrik Lorcas was certainly impressive by any stretch of the imagination, and is highly sought after by the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant. However, there exists real fears that access to this technology may be disrupted, which has led Mahporeem to develop its own version of the technological marvel.
