- Cargo Capacity: The AT-CT is capable of storing, carrying and transporting large amounts of cargo with relative ease, thanks to its spacious hull and cargo crane arm.

DESCRIPTION
Developed during the reign of the Galactic Republic, the AT-TE was originally envisioned as a heavy assault walker, and performed admirably in this role. However, by the time of the Galactic Empire, many of these vehicles were showing their age, and were thus regulated to use mainly in the Outer Rim.
Some enterprising Imperial Commanders decided to modify these vehicles into open topped cargo transports, by removing a large section of their armored hull. These so called AT-CTs are able to carry large amounts of supplies, material and soldiers to and from the battlefield, at the cost of their heavy armaments and protection for their crews. AT-CTs can also be used as recovery vehicles if needed.
AT-CTs are most often seen supporting other mechanized units, by resupplying them or recovering them from the battlefield.
