Thule, The Esstran Sector
The Rubat Jungle, Lower Steams

The mighty beast let out a low grumble of contentment as it lounged in the piping hot waters. It's body easing even further into a state of bliss. It was enormous, with hardened black scales and a long reptilian head. It's body was almost catlike, perhaps like a panther, though it was larger than an adult nexu. The creature rest its head partway submerged in the heated water amidst the rising and falling stonework that was surrounded by thick jungle on all sides. There, it's tail curled slightly, it allowed a small pale figure to recline against it. The strange being stretched out a long white leg, parting it from the water and letting the steam rise off their skin. A pair of glowing molten-gold eyes looked down at a luxurious body, powerful abdominal muscles present beneath picture perfect skin. The beings black hair wafted around its head, as if trapped in the water or an unseen wind.

This world had once been a desolate wasteland, only a few months before it had been dead and dying, the last of the great beasts of this world going extinct. Now, the world was a thriving jungle planet and nature had come roaring back to life. This was now a world of dangerous and powerful creatures, twisted and enhanced by the dark side. Even the very presence of the world seemed to radiate strangely, the air was not cold and stifling, but hot, humid, and filled with exhilaration among other oddly positive emotions. It was like every breath was exciting on Thule and it only took one lapse of concentration to revel in it.

The being let out a sigh and leaned back against the mighty creature, running her fingers along it's scales. "Well foo... the ship went down around here somewhere... but I haven't seen it yet," It was the voice of Darth Nwul Shasot'ari, the Lord of Passion, Steward of the Dark Side. The very being that had terraformed this world in a day. There had been a report about a ship entering Thule's atmosphere and going down abruptly over the Rubat Jungle. Nwul, curious, or perhaps bored, had taken on their female form and drifted out into the wilderness, befriending the mighty monster she was lounging with in the process.

So far, though, her efforts to satisfy her curiosity had gone unrewarded. No sign of the mysterious pilot. Not yet anyway.

Nwul's eyes drifted towards the treeline knowingly and a small smile danced on her lips, she looked back towards the beast and continued to luxuriate.

Underneath the nav console, a young Zeltron woman meddled with wires she probably shouldn't have been. But she'd done this sort of thing since she could hold a multi-tool. Sparks flew as she touched two wires together. The console hummed to life, blue light illuminating the dim cockpit. "Yes!" Saya pushed herself out from underneath the console and leapt to her feet, turning as she did so to look at the console. The display faltered, tearing the image and restoring it a moment later. That could be fixed later then. Saya poked at the screen, attempting to get read outs on the status of other components.

Bzzt!

Sparks snapped at Saya's hand, and smoke began to fizzle from the console. "GAMOTO!" Saya slammed a fist down on the console, which decided to give out entirely out of spite, the screen going black. Saya sighed. This was just her kind of luck. Stranded somewhere, she didn't even know where, and no way to call for help.

Well...there was always the flare gun...

Saya could already her dad scolding her though. 'You don't just pop a flare 'cause you feel like it! You never know who's looking for you.' Sorry Dad, but I'm all outta options. Saya found the little emergency box, somehow still intact through the crash and fastened tightly to the wall. Some basic medical supplied, a couple packets of freeze dried food, and of course, the flare gun. The Zeltron stepped outside. Pop! The red light sailed into the air, a trail of smoke behind it. Hopefully someone friendly saw that and would come to help. If not...that's what blasters were for, right?
