It's time for another one of our announcements about the holiday season, but we've decided to change things up a little this year. The Codex, Factory, and Staff will be hosting a
Anyone may participate as the community will be the judge.
[Codex Location Submissions]
Over the years our writers have dreamed up wonderful and crazy locations, from simple apartments to entire planets, and we'd like to see what you can come up with again. Halloween is usually celebrated in Star Wars on Coruscant or Endor but feel free to expand your horizons and create any special destination point you want anywhere in the galaxy. It can be spooky, wacky, or wholesome as long as it fits with the general theme of the season. The guidelines on this are extremely loose.
NOTES:
1.) All Locations submitted to the Codex must be marked with [HAUNTED DESTINATION] in the title.
2.) The deadline is October 25th, 2022 at 12A EST.
3.) At that time we will post up a poll for the SWRP Community to vote on their favorite Location.
4.) On October 28th, 2022 12A EST we will close the polls and then launch a spooky-themed Public Thread at the winning Location for everyone to enjoy.
[Factory Submissions]
Have you ever looked at event weapons and ships from the past and wished you could have one? Well, now is your chance. The Factory is throwing open its doors to your creativity and aspirations. The idea is similar to "Secret Santa" in which anyone who submits an item gets their name thrown in a pot. When the event concludes everyone who participated will randomly be gifted one of the submissions.
You will be creating things for others, but this is your opportunity to go ham. For this event, we are lifting the typical Factory Rules that would limit what can be made with just a few small caveats that will be listed below. Balance, balance who?

NOTES:
1.) No SSD's or Superweapons.
2.) Each submission must be [Unique] as they are intended for another writer and should have a vaguely spooky vibe.
3.) All Factory Items submitted must be marked with [SECRET SPECTRE] in the title.
4.) The deadline is October 25th, 2022 at 12A EST.
5.) At that time we will post up a poll for the SWRP Community to vote on their favorite Factory Submission.
6.) On October 28th, 2022 at 12A EST the winning submission will magically convert from [Unique] to [Mass Produced] and everyone that created a submission for either the Codex or the Factory in this Event will be allowed to use one. We will edit in the names of the participants for the future.
What Halloween would be complete without going trick or treating?
You can use this thread to nominate your friends or a stranger and Site Staff will trick them or treat them. Site Staff will flip a coin for every writer who gets nominated and leave it to chance how it turns out. Whether they get tricked—Or treated. What does that mean exactly?
