Intent: To replace the lightsaber Alkor lost on the Field of Blades.

Development Thread: If necessary.

Manufacturer: Alkor Centaris

Model: Interlocking hilt paired sabers/saberstaff.

Affiliation: Alkor Centaris

Modularity: No.

Production: Unique

Material: Quadranium, Disrupting emitter matrix (information found here.), Oplia crystals and Krayt Dragon pearls.

Classification: Lightsaber.

Size: One or two handed, depending.

Length: 25.4 centimeters (10 inches) per single hilt, 50.8 centimeters (20 inches) combined (1.75 feet)

Weight: 1.81 kg (2 pounds) per single hilt, 3.62 (4 pounds) together.

Special Features: Can be utilized as a saberstaff or two separate blades.

Strengths:

+ As it combines several distinct styles of lightsaber, this weapon allows for very complex and unpredictable attack patterns in the hands of a skilled user.
+ High cutting potential, unstable blade inflicts damage to the nervous system. (Standard partial paralysis caused by a disrupting emitter.)

Weaknesses:

- Not made from any sort of resistant alloys, it can take glancing blows but is not suited for assaults from high heat.

- Requires immense skill to employ to its potential.

Description: After the battle on Ruusan where Alkor lost his lightsaber in a highly unexpected stroll through the Netherworld, the Dark Jedi went through pains to find a suitable replacement. Regrettably, none of the components of his former weapon remained, but he had the blueprints for a weapon utilized by one of his former comrades.

While Jen'jidai Eversio was highly skilled with telekinesis and had a failsafe that required it's wielder to know where the activation switch inside the saber's heart lay, Alkor created a much more Spartan iteration with linked and singular activation switches that allowed one or both blades to be activated separately.

This is certainly not a weapon for those of moderate skill, as it requires both considerable amounts of training to master (which is generally true of Saberstaves and the Jar'kai style), and transitions between interlocked and separated require exact timing in the throes of combat. Since the blades are extremely honed for cutting and the emitters both tend to inflict damage to the nervous system, a misstep can be just as perilous to the user as to the victim.

Can you link to the blade emitter page and clarify what kind of nerve damage you're talking about? If it's the same kind of partial paralysis as a standard disrupting emitter, mention that.
