Alkor 4.0

Name: Alkor Keludarian Centaris
Age: 33
Sex: Male
Rank: Of no consequence.
Height: 5’9”
Build: Welterweight
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Blue
Skin: Fair
Force Sensitive: Yes.

Strengths

Devotion: Those who Alkor is close to, he has great respect for and has fierce loyalty to. Those who cross him gain his eternal ire.

Bred for Battle: From surviving the streets of Corellia as a boy to braving the battlefields as a Mandalorian, Alkor has trained in many forms of combat. Much more up close and personal than most, he can be accurately described as more monster than man.

Master of War: From Assassination to presiding over campaigns, Alkor has profound experience leading men into conflict.

Weaknesses

Disaster: Born to an addict mother and absent father, Alkor grew up in the Corellian slums. He drifted from criminal agencies to far worse, gaining notoriety for his impressive, yet deadly skillset- one that came at the cost of never forming a stable personality or forming tight bonds with others. As such he is distant, has difficulty dealing with others, struggles with interpersonal relationships, and comes off as extremely blunt and sometimes rude.

No Healing Factor: Years of sustained damage from using the Dark side of the Force have robbed his body of the ability to heal naturally. Because of this, he requires specialized treatment to deal with wounds and infections, lest they cause excessive complications or worse.

Bereaved: Alkor has left behind multiple lives. As a boy, he was exiled from Corellia. When he left Mandalore, he took on the disgrace that his former people called “Dar'manda.” He has many enemies, and that list only keeps growing.

Appearance: Dark hair and blue eyes, a youthful face and toned body. Usually kept in dark clothes or light armor, he stands about 6' and weighs around 150 lbs.

Early Life: Corellia

The streets of Coronet City only got harder as time wore on. Imperial occupation in the time of the Rebellion created a wealth disparity that left those in the good graces of the Moff living well, while those less fortunate began to enter crime syndicates and resorted to drugs, prostitution, and others means in order to sustain. Corellian Independence improved their overall situation, but alienated the world from the rest of the Core. When the Gulag Plague struck, the world struggled even more.

Alkor Centaris was born into poverty during the lowest era in Corellian history. His father was a spacer who left without a word long before he was born, and his mother a hopeless spice addict. He learned to lie before he learned to walk, and he learned to steal not long after he could stand. To survive, he learned to do things that often got him into trouble, and his moral compass never had time to truly develop. Right and wrong became relative to him.

As he grew, Alkor's skill at sleight of hand garnered the attention of a nefarious local crime lord, a man named Cicero Ticon. Part of an old organized crime family, Cicero had designs on ruling all of the Corellian underground, but Alkor became one of his most prized possessions.

Because of the boy's lack of empathy and his inability to determine right from wrong, he was the perfect candidate to train as a child soldier. Alkor was rigorously beaten and taught skills that made him an expert at going unnoticed, sneaking and skulking as well as blending in with a crowd. He learned to kill quickly, quietly, and how to disappear.

Time went on, and Alkor continued to use his ill-gotten wages to provide for his mother- a woman who spent more time drugged and out of her mind than lucid- never once thinking about how to change either of their fates. One day, Cicero called on Alkor to rid him of a pest, and everything changed.

She was the daughter of a senator, perhaps a year older than him. Alkor went with every intention of ending her life and making it look like an accident; but he heard her speak. She promised a brighter future for the people in the slums. She talked about bringing people out of crime, and poverty, and even rehabilitation for those who suffered from addiction. If she was given an opportunity, his mother might have a chance at a real life.

He might have a chance at something different.

Alkor spared her life, but he never anticipated Cicero's response to such a seemingly trivial action would be as aggressive as it was. Cicero stormed his home in the early hours of morning, before anyone was awake. He dragged Alkor's mother from her bed, and he made the youth watch as his men ended her life.

When CorSec arrived, they found Alkor and the murder weapon, as well as a list of murders he had committed, and many he had nothing to do with. The courts immediately called for his trial, and the people cried out for his death.

By some act of the Force, he was punished by Exile, and dubbed "the Demon of Corellia" for his violent murders and blatant disregard for his homeworld and its people.

The Dark Jedi years

Upon leaving Corellia, Alkor was taken in by a sect of Dark Jedi who revered the teachings of Xendor. These men, occult, eclectic, and xenophobic in their views were quick to learn of his origin and sought to utilize their newest asset to his fullest potential. Armed already with the skills of an assassin, the Dark Jedi found in Alkor a Force Potential that had gone untapped, but awoken during the endgame of his dealings with Cicero.

His master, a cruel but powerful Dark Jedi who had learned the ancient and powerful Dark Arts of the Force, began to instill in Alkor a powerful hatred, not just for those who had wronged him, but for those he was tasked with killing. He continued to cultivate darkness within the boy as Alkor matured into adulthood, and before he could even use the Force actively, Alkor was corrupt.

His body was stunted, in growth, in health, and in potential. Alkor had a gift that his Master wished to exploit- a type of Force-given sight that one in three hundred generations was ever born with. He could perceive the weaknesses in time and space. These phenomena, referred to by scholars as "Shatterpoints," would have allowed the man to effective shape history.

But Alkor refused to use his power that way.

Alkor saw the Force as a form of weakness. Utilizing power outside his own ability to gain strength was fleeting. Alkor resolved only to use his own strength, and became obsessed with becoming the strongest warrior in the Galaxy.

This infuriated his Master, who called him a failure and continued to use him only as a killer and Frontline fight, since he had no better use for the boy.

When the Order fell to ruin, Alkor made the choice not to stop it.

Mandalore

After the fall of the Dark Jedi, Alkor sought a life elsewhere in the Galaxy, somewhere far from those places he once called home. During a bungled Mandalorian attack, he saved the apprentice of [member="Darth Metus"] from an orbital bombardment and earned the respect of the Sith Lord- then a Mandalorian calling himself Isley Verd.

Verd extended an offer to Alkor- join his family, and embrace the Mandalorian culture. In his never ending search for belonging, Alkor accepted this offer, and so began his life as a Mandalorian.

He was anything but a perfect specimen.

At first, Alkor railed against the lifestyle, and he sought to maintain the individuality he had learned from the beginning. Isley saw Alkor's resistance and gave [member="Zef Halo"] the task of teaching his adopted Brother how to be more Mandalorian.

It went well for a very short amount of time, before Isley took up the mantle of Sith Lord and left Mandalore behind, a lesson Alkor would eventually learn for himself.

In the time after Isley left behind Mandalore, Alkor joined with the Sith on Bastion and worked as a killer from the shadows, slowly bringing the Stygian Caldera under the control of [member="Darth Carnifex"] and his ilk. Once they had wrested the Eastern reaches from the Silver Jedi, Alkor left the newly formed Sith Empire and sought a life on his own terms.

The Southern Systems

Alkor returned to Mandalore for a time, during which he was named Warmaster and he inevitably discovered the weaknesses and failings of Mand'alor. In a bid to seize Eshan, the Dark Jedi saw the current regime for what it was- a puppet state.

Nearly killed in his effort to defect, Alkor was offered a place in the Confederacy of Independent Systems not by his prodigal brother, but by Isley's apprentice- [member="Srina Talon"], a native of the world he had just seen put to the flame.

Alkor quietly assimilated into the ranks of the Knights Obsidian, where he rose to the position of Knight Commander. He served diligently for a time, until chaos descended on the Confederates...
