Born on the world of Gallinore, Alison Sky was raised beneath open skies and among a family deeply connected to the Force. Her mother, Esme Sky, followed the path of the Jedi, while her father, Braiden Sky, chose a different calling. Though Force-sensitive himself, Braiden pursued a career in military intelligence and starfighter operations, believing that duty to the galaxy could take many forms.

From the time she could walk, Alison was fascinated by flight. Some of her earliest memories were spent perched in her father's lap inside the cockpit of a training craft, watching clouds race past the canopy. It was there that her love of flying was born, and from that moment onward the sky felt more like home than any world beneath it.

Determined to follow her own path, Alison enrolled in the prestigious Hapan Flight Academy, where her natural talent quickly distinguished her from her peers. She graduated with honors and went on to serve as a starfighter pilot for the Galactic Alliance, earning a reputation as a skilled and dependable aviator. Following the Alliance's collapse, she continued the fight alongside the Hidden Path, using her talents to protect refugees and oppose the growing darkness spreading across the galaxy.

When the Hidden Path eventually disbanded, Alison refused to stand idle. Alongside other veterans, freedom fighters, and former military pilots, she helped establish Ruby Squadron, an independent force dedicated to defending innocent worlds and resisting tyranny wherever it appeared. Today, she flies among the squadron's finest pilots, carrying forward the ideals that larger governments abandoned.

To those who know her, Alison is courageous, loyal, and endlessly optimistic—a pilot who feels most alive among the stars. Yet beneath her easy smile lies a secret she shares with very few. Alison suffers from bloodburn, a rare and dangerous condition that causes the blood to overheat and, in severe cases, quite literally begin to boil within the body. Every mission carries risks that her squadronmates cannot see, and every ache or fever brings with it a quiet fear.

For Alison, the prospect of death is not what haunts her most. What truly terrifies her is the thought that one day bloodburn may ground her for good, robbing her of the skies she has loved since childhood. Until that day comes, she continues to climb into the cockpit, determined to make every flight count.
