Aliit (Mig/Tamar)

Alor of Clan Gred, Mando'ad'jetii
Mig smiled a bit, holding [member="Tamar Gred"] close as he spoke. "I don't plan on going to the Manda anytime soon." The Mandalorian then smiled as he watched Leddie and Tamar together. It was just so nice to see. And it was funny to imagine why the little girl would be saying "Ew" to kissing. He chuckled hearing his Riduur ask why Leddie thought it was weird, and he just killed gave Tamar a quick kiss, tickling the little Zabrak as he did.

"Aw come on ad'ika. It's normal." Mig smiled, chuckling a bit more as the girl batted at the hand that was tickling her. She'd be a strong woman some day. He just knew it. It was then that Tamar asked if Leddie wanted a mommy. The ad'ika looked up at her, seeming slightly confused for a moment. Mig then noticed his wife look at him, and nodded. She then told the girl about them being married, and that she would love to be the Zabrak's mom if she let her. The little girl just stared for a second, tears beginning to well up as she did her best to hug both Tamar and Mig.

"Jagyc'buir. Dalyc'buir." Mig smiled slightly, putting an arm around her.

"I'm guessing that's a yes."

“You’d best not, or I’ll have to chase in after and… plead profusely or something… what? I’m not all that brave.” Laughing softly, Tamar sunk into her husband’s arms. Husband. [member="Mig Gred"], her riduur! He kissed her again, while tickling Leddie, and both Gred girls giggled.

The moment shifted, something strange and wonderful causing the grieving child to cry. Poor thing. Losing her father, then having so much upset in a matter of days, it wasn’t healthy. No, Tamar decided she’d have to give Leddie the right sort of childhood regardless if the girl called her mother or not!

“Ooof!” Tamar yelped as Leddie’s arms surged around them, pulled in to the little girl’s gravity. “I suppose so! Oh, sweet Leddie-girl, we’re never going to let you go.”

Soothing strokes along Leddie’s back had Tamar smiling for Mig, and she let out a held breath.

“We have a family that’s growing faster than Yasha’s, it seems, love. What shall we do, eh? Have a family meal? Play a little? Or curl up for some quiet time? Just us?”

Mig smiled at Tamar as Leddie continued to hug them. After losing so much, she now had an Aliit again. She had an Aliit! Her Jagyc'buir held his family close, hearing his Riduur ask what they should do now, and noting that their family was growing faster than Yasha's. It took him a little bit of thinking, but he leaned back some, placing a hand on Tamar's stomach and letting out a calm, content sigh.

"To be honest, after everything that's happened, some quiet time sounds better than anything." He gave [member="Tamar Gred"] a kiss before smiling again, rubbing Leddie's head.

“Quiet time it is.” Tamar shared [member="Mig Gred"]’s smile, holding into the kiss with a hand on his cheek, as Leddie groaned. Children… they were indomitable little wills at times.

She pulled away to put baked goods on plates, nudging Leddie into the family room, before setting down each dish. Clearing her throat, Tamar spoke to the computer system in Epicant, and music began to play as a background.

“Now, Leddie. You may get some toys and play, but first eat a bit more, alright? Have some quiche, it’ll help you grow strong.” That’s what they needed wasn’t it? A moment of calm? A sense of familial normalcy in the tumult? With the shifts and horrors of the last months, taking a moment to be a family, small as they were, was a welcome shift.

Easing down onto the couch, Tamar groaned at the weight around her belly, waiting for Mig to sit down before propping both feet unapologetically in his lap.

“… what? You married me. Want to take the vows back?” Tamar cajoled, white teeth displayed between her grin. “A few weeks more, and my feet won’t be so sore. Rest of me will be exhausted, but sore? Nnnnope.”

Tamar handed Mig his plate, leaning back on the comfortable sofa to enjoy her own.

Leddie smiled at her Dalyc'buir, though she did poke at the quiche before finally trying it. A small hum came from the girl before she continued eating, getting a smile from Mig. One that continued as [member="Tamar Gred"] propped her legs on him. When he heard what she said, the man chuckled and fad shock.

"Not even if the Mand'alor told me to." Mig listened carefully as Tamar spoke about being tired, but not sore. He smiled, taking a bit of the food. "And you'll have some more help." Once he finished up some of his food down, Mig looked over at his Riduur, smiling a bit.

"Anything I can do to help the soreness?"
