Algernon is a big, strong man who looks older than his age, most likely due to his drinking habit. While his face looks older, he still maintains his physique, as he balanced his drinking habit with his fighting, hunting, and riding hobbies. Algernon often wears umber brown, the color of House Hanover, the house he was born in, or red, the color of House Draco, the house he marries into.

Algernon Draco, born Algernon Hanover, is a noble of a Draco vassal house. Being a second son, he was given more freedom by his parents, Cadmus and Tara Hanover, to pursue his interests. While his eldest brother, Julius, was groomed to be the next in line, Algernon was allowed to focus on the art of warfare, fighting, hunting, and riding. However, it becomes apparent quickly that Algernon was not a very sharp kid, and excelled more on the physical and intrapersonal fields instead of tactical. That didn't stop his parents from pampering him however. He spent his early 20s winning tournaments, organizing hunting trips, and womanizing. It was also at this time he developed his drinking habits. He got to marry his vassal lord's daughter,

, when he was 29. While it was a political marriage at first, the two developed into a functional couple soon after, the belligerent, content, and mighty husband and the cunning, ambitious, and brilliant wife, the tower and the sharpshooter. Algernon and Elssar have two children,
