Alek Thorne
If someone stumbled upon Alek in the field or street, he would likely be dressed in a simple t-shirt, leather jacket and a pair of torn jeans with boots. He would have a sidearm stuffed into the waistband of his jeans and a pair of knives stuffed in his boots for emergencies. He is unassuming and wouldn't be noticed in a large crowd. He is one of the rabble and has made it his specialty to blend in. The streets are his home and he knows how to become one with his environment.

Personality: One might describe Alek as an introvert pretending to be an extrovert. Far happier to be a lone wolf and be left to his own devices than interact with others. However, due to his years growing up as an orphan Alek quickly learned how to use his words to get himself out of a tight situation and as a result can be very charming when he wants to. But this is all a facade that he puts on, psychologically Alek is damaged goods. Due to his upbringing he displays the traits of being a classic sociopath. He has a distinct lack of empathy and has seen firsthand how those that are weak respond to manipulation, deceit and force.
Strengths:
- Combat Instinct: Alek has a natural feel for combat and enjoys physical confrontation, particularly if it is in a hand to hand setting.
- Stealth: Has a natural ability to blend into the background of his environment. This effect is only increased by his unknown force sensitivity.
- Resourceful: Growing up as an orphan on the streets on Coruscant Alek had to make use of any and all resources available to him.
- Manipulative: Naturally charming when he wants to be. Has a fantastic ability to lie, gaslight or charm his way out of situations. Or charm other's into doing his bidding.
- Impulsive: Due to his youth and psychological state Alek can be impulsive and will often throw himself into stupid or dangerous situations despite the odds being against him.
- Inexperienced: Having only just joined the SIA as a trainee (a very promising one) he is still very inexperienced and can make crucial mistakes in the field.
- Weapon Proficiency: Despite currently going through SIA training Alek is still not the best when it comes to certain weapons. For example the use of snipers. He is far more proficient in with close quarter weaponry.
Story So Far: Alek grew up on Coruscant in the shadow of the red light district as an orphan. As a young boy he would frequently hop between homeless shelters, making sure to never stay too long in one place. If he couldn't find a homeless shelter to hide in he could often be found in the strip clubs or hiding under the dumpsters for shelter. He spent his time stealing and scavenging for survival. It was during his teenage years that he became very proficient at this. He would often rob rich aristocrats that visited the red light district and sell whatever he had managed to lift from their pockets to a local fence. This talent began to garner him a reputation in the criminal underworld with some approaching him to carry out jobs which he very much enjoyed.
It was during one of these jobs that his life changed. He had been given a simple task, he had to steal a service medal from a former military officer within Galatic Alliance. Little did Alek know that this officer was former SIA and was more than aware of the amateur methods that he would employ in an attempt to steal the medal. Needless to say Alek was caught in the act and the officer beat him to within an inch of his life despite Alek putting up his best fight. Alek was brought in for questioning and it was here that the officer saw potential in him. After two weeks of psychological testing the officer offered Alek a place in the SIA in exchange for any charges against him being wiped. Alek agreed to the terms begrudgingly and joined the SIA special forces as a trainee.
