Given the delicate and secretive nature of Alchemy it was found pertinent to fill the gaps left behind in order to ensure this particular Force-based craft does not die out.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.6667px]Two men, Ostanes and Dissero, having such knowledge, experience, and education have endeavored to offset the imbalance of Master Alchemical Practitioners by providing an open source for those aspiring young Alchemists in need of guidance. The Alchemist Starter Kit was created to provide just that. Though the kit contains many things, the essential tool therein is that of a Grimoire detailing the elementary pieces of knowledge any young or new Alchemist needs to know; as well it provides guidance for two Apprentice-level projects that the exceptional student can later build upon.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=14.6667px]Given the very solid boundaries and limitations of the kit, it cannot make a Master alchemist out of anyone, but anyone with the Force abilities and wherewithal could use the kit to begin their journey to Alchemy Mastery. Whilst some rarer ingredients may be present (such as svoltan rhyolite), the ingredients will only allow for one or two attempts at the process at most. It will not allow for an unlimited supply of the blades. The supply of materials, and specific project instructions or details, are set up ahead of time in a contract between Marrow & Illskins and the buyer, to help narrow focus so that there is not an influx of every scrap of Alchemical knowledge to a populace unprepared for such. Much of the text is cautionary, detailing risks, possible losses, and such things as equivalent exchange and immutable laws of the craft.[/SIZE]

To note: The instruction on the crafting of an alchemized blade in this Grimoire is based on the creation of Sith Swords. As such, the blade craft instruction is given from a Force-neutral point and does not inherently guide the student to creating a darkside based sword. The Grimoire does mention Force-Imbued blade craft in its introductory chapters, but does not detail the steps to creating them. For more information on the difference between Sith Swords and Force-Imbued blades, please read this.
