---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Irrepressible Spirit- Alana is surprisingly lively and optimistic individual, always finding the positives in whatever happens
Friendly- For a scavenger, she's surprisingly kind and welcoming to those she meets, even hospitable.
The Woman Who Knew No Fear- Nothing really scares Alana. Which is great when she has to crawl through ancient ruins and factories, but also puts her in a great deal of danger that she just doesn't recognize and waltzes in.
Forgotten Legacy- For Alana, there is nothing special about the name Sunrider other than that it's hers. She knows nothing of her distant relations Nomi and Vima Sunrider and their impact or role in the Jedi Order. For that matter, she doesn't even know her parents or any of her relations, which may or may not include Cynna Jade Sunrider and Morse Sunrider through some way or another. That leaves a void in her identity which she desperately wants to answer.
What's a Force?- Of course she's heard of heroic Jedi Knights and dastardly Sith Lords but Ambria has been forgotten and isolated enough that she doesn't quite believe anything she hears. Darth Vornskr can't be real, right?
That gives her a certain naivete in regards to the whole subject, which makes her very vulnerable to those who would use the Dark Side to manipulate her, strengthened by...
Haunted- The spirits who long ago tempted Nomi Sunrider are aware of Alana's relation to her and since they're bitter old people they haunt her dreams and manipulate her mind while she's awake, giving her horrific hallucinations and visions of the past, trying to break her spirit and lead to her fall.
Light Affinity- Much akin to her family past and heritage, Alana is more predisposed to the Light Side of the Force, which in time will be of benefit, but until then, it marks her as a target for those in the Dark Side who would wish to corrupt her.
Mrs. Fix-It- She understands technology, especially ancient Sith technology and can work much of it into somewhat usable states.
Scoundrel- Morally speaking, she's a little on the dubious side.

APPEARANCE:
Alana is tall for women, towering over most of them, and many men as well. In the salvage slums, she has to shrink herself to fit in the small structures. It gives her a rather striking appearance, however, especially with her russet hair that she is very proud of, as she thinks it sets off her eyes. Which, if any of you plan to spend any amount of time gazing dreamingly into, are "crystalline blue" and don't you dare mention it, but she has a scar along her right eyelid, which is she rather self-conscious about, as well as her rather masculine facial structure and body build. She tends to wear an interesting assemblage of an outfit, halfway between ancient Jedi robes and the typical Outer Rim spacer's garb.

BIOGRAPHY:
Alana has always lived on Ambria, amidst the ruins of the ancient Sith Empire war foundries, raised by a succession of salvagers, scavengers, and outlaws. Some were more kind hearted than others, with some treating her like a daughter of her own, others were cruel and treated her more like a slave. She learned the tricks of their various trades, invented some of her own, and came out relatively on top, with her own career as a salvager and mechanic, although just enough to scrape out a living, which she supplements through some light thievery and cheating at cards. Sometimes she hires on as a freight co-pilot around the planet, but nothing much, since those folks are desperate and probably would sell her off.

She has no idea who her family is, although some have asked and when receiving that answer, write it off as a lie. But honestly, she doesn't know. Her parents were Tayin Sunrider and Lorre Drima, both of whom were latent Force sensitives and sustenance farmers trying to scratch a living from the barely recovered world. A Sith who traced his ancestry back to the Great SIth War caught wind of a Sunrider living on Ambria and went to hunt them down for revenge and to make his claim as a resurgent Dark Lord of the Sith. Tayin and Lorre had Force visions of the threat and sent their infant daughter to be raised by friends among the salvaging community. After that, her parents fled, trying to leave enough of a trail to lead the Sith away from their daughter while not being found themselves. They failed and the Sith murdered them both, before trying to backtrack to their daughter. He never found her although he continues to seek to this day, having placed a considerable bounty on information regarding a young woman going by the name of Sunrider.

Alana grows restless now, having seen the Netherworld effects and struggling with faint feelings of looming danger, which she attributes to her nightmares. However, she currently has no way to leave the planet, and is uncertain of the path that lays before her. Eventually, she found a way off the world and wandered the galaxy, first as a bounty hunter, then with the Je'daii, and then eventually becoming a proper Jedi, helping found the Republic and it's Jedi Order prior to its role in the formation of the Galactic Alliance. However, she was badly wounded in a skirmish with the Bryn'adul on behalf of the Silver Jedi Concord and withdrew from the galaxy to heal and recover. Upon her return, she found herself drawn to the Outer Rim again, and the Jedi Pilgrims as well as the Svivren Jedi Enclave.
