The necklace is imbued to reduce the harm from others attempting to inflict on the wearer as well as emboldening the resolve of the wearer to the Light Side of the Force.

Kat Decoria decided that she wanted to create a unique and simple necklace for her Jedi Shadow friend Allyson Locke, something that would offer some protection to the Corellian as well as allow them to stay in contact if Allyson ever got in danger. Using her deep feelings for Allyson, Kat was able to imbue the necklace with the Force to offer small levels of protection and emboldens the resolve of Allyson as well. Added to the necklace was a small tracker that would send a heavily encrypted distress signal to Kat only when activated. To give Allyson a way to always contact someone she trusted for support when needed but wouldn’t be active otherwise.
