PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Aki's skin beams of ivory and wears red eyeliner. Her face is small and she always keeps her hair short for practical reasons. Since she's a fighter, she prefers not to let her hair get obstruct her vision. As an imperial, she understands the importance of grooming oneself in order to maintain discipline and display dominance.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Aki holds survival above all as her main tenant and as a supplement, the power to maintain her power. She's not afraid to step on others to get want she wants and at the same time is paranoid of losing all that she's built in order to maintain her security. She will always side with whoever the winner is and always has contingencies in case certain relationships don't work out in her favor. Attachments can be an issue for Aki as she is never vulnerable towards anyone in her life ever since she lost contact with her family.

STRENGTHS

Skilled fighter - Aki is skilled in using different weapons including edged, blunt, and blasters. Not to mention is skilled in striking and grappling as well.

Underground Urchin - Raised in organized crime, Aki knows a thing or two about how the galactic underground operates. Being able to navigate the underworld in order to evade any trouble with the law she might find herself in.

WEAKNESSES

Perfectionist - In every aspect of her life, Aki is always trying to appear as the smartest, neatest, and strongest there is. She possesses a lot of envy for peers in her field that seem as though they have something to one up her. She constantly compares herself and belittles herself when she can't meat unattainable standards. It leads to her making rash decisions in order to compensate for her self-inflicted insignificance.

Limited Empathy - Aki holds empathy for few people in her life, which allows her justify any actions she may take in spite of others she does not care about. Even then, her empathy for the people in her life only goes so far as she may feel insignificant to the people she supposedly cares for.

HISTORY

Aki was born on Corellia to a minor crime family that managed a casino in Coronet City. The Nagaoka's Emerald Casino was also a notorious loan sharking business where they collected debts on any patrons, both rich and poor in order to make extra revenue on top of their revenue from casino games and other services. Aki convinced her family to join the military in order to expand their operations and got in close with an ex-con quartermaster who was arrested for dealing death sticks on Fondor. Aki was able to convince the quartermaster to begin a gun running scheme on base. Aki knew a few gun runners in the area that could deal guns to the gangs on Corellia and even beyond to worlds like Coruscant, Fondor, and Nar Shadda.

Due to their operation being too big as the weapons were being shipped off-planet, GA customs agents and MP's at the time were investigating why the base was short on blasters and blaster packs. The quartermaster also decided to jump ship and decided to rat out Aki before she could do anything about it. Thanks to her family's connections however, Aki was able to get out with a dishonorable discharge and came back to her family a disgrace. Aki found herself overcompensating in order to succeed her father's syndicate but only proved that she was incapable. Aki feared for her position as she knew she was losing prominence and the succession to her other siblings. Despite the Empire having no prominence in Corellia, imperial officers usually like to visit Coronet City on shore leave and the officer in question didn't pay back the loan on time resulting in the officer nearly losing his life after being succumbed to torture.

Aki used this opportunity to meet with the officer and take video evidence of the torture to Imperial-aligned officials on Corellia and doctored any evidence that could implicate the officer in question in not paying back his loans in time. The officials in question panicked as they feared implications of what this could mean if the Empire could get a hold of this evidence and through the officer, he testified that the officer was jumped and tortured on Corellia which caused a diplomatic incident between Corellia and the Empire as the casino was raided and evidently shut down by Corellian Security Forces before Aki was given asylum by the Empire.

She was invited to join the ISB as a lieutenant for her experience in the underworld.
