- Bound: Each band contains parts of a Lorrdian Gemstone with the central purple feature of Alden's band being a masterfully carved and polished stone and the purple crystals inlaid upon Faye's ring being shards of that very same crystal structure. As such these rings possess a unique bond between them that cannot be replicated. The crystal's connection between the two rings is reflective of the bond shared between Alden and Faye, and the longer the two continue to grow that connection, the stronger the connection is between the fragments of the very same crystal. Furthermore, these rings are bonded to the individual that wears them - a bond that strengthens the longer each is imprinted on by its bearer.
- Precognition: Because of the presence of the Lorrdian Gemstone, these rings grant their bearer increased foresight into one's intentions and makes it easier to perceive one's actions.
- Apart, Yet Together: Similarly to the connection shared between the crystals of each ring, the connection/Force Bond between the two is also affected, allowing a stronger and more defined sense of the present status of the other - whether that be emotional or physical health. This effect will also allow for an instinctual adaptation of Telepathy to be ever present between Alden and Faye, dependent upon the distance that separates the two physically.
- Bonded: The strength of Force Bonds between the individuals that bear the rings is exponentially increased. Amplification of the Force Bonds allows the potential of a small Nexus of the Force to be created when the rings are within close proximity to one another while also allowing a deeper connection to the Force by the two who where the rings.
- Precognition: Because of the presence of the Lorrdian Gemstone, these rings grant their bearer increased foresight into one's intentions and makes it easier to perceive one's actions.
- Mental Connection: The bond between the rings allows for an instinctual and passive application of Telepathy to exist between the two that wear the rings dependent upon their own bond. This allows for telepathic communication, as well as, the ability for each to be aware of thoughts and feelings of the other with a little focus.
- Natural Resistance: Songsteel is naturally a highly durable metal, with a very high resistance to Lightsaber strikes. As such, these rings are very durable and difficult to destroy.
- Nullified: In the presence of a Force void, or absence of Force, the effects each of the rings exudes over the individuals that bear them will be rendered inert. Furthermore, any connections or bond established between the two that wear the bands, with suffer a consequential absence until the void passes or the two rings are removed from the circumstance.
- Exploitable Weakness: Whereas the bands, themselves, are highly durable in their construction, due to the utilization of Songsteel, the crystals/gemstones are exposed and susceptible to damage or destruction by both kinetic and non-kinetic means. If this were to happen, and the crystals replaced, the bonding and imprinting process would have to begin again.

has not always been the steadiest, nor the smoothest of rides along the way to where it has grown to now. To the point where ideas, Alden once thought impossible in his life, began to spring up and flourish. Thoughts such as there was someone out there among the stars that he could spend the rest of his life with. And even more surprisingly, for him, that he had found them out among the stars in vastly different areas of galaxy. Born of the wrong side of the galaxy some might even venture to say; she, a daughter of Serenno, and he, a son of Eiattu 6. For some time, Alden had fought with the idea and notion that perhaps Faye could very well be that person for him to share his life with - torn between his insecurities and his heart. For a man who'd spent the majority of his life living in something of a lie - a Prince forced into hiding - in order to protect those he loved and held most dear from harm, he'd virtually bestowed it upon himself that he would not be much good for anyone. However, as time would pass, and his bond with Faye grew stronger, he found a certain security in her being by his side. With her being his rock so to speak.
When is came time to have a token of such significance made, Alden knew in his heart that the piece had to be absolutely one of a kind, with no chance of another being made like it. Especially for the one person in this galaxy that had been able to steal his heart, love and affection in the way that Faye had. To start, Alden had to focus on what he knew of the woman he loved, and what she had expressed had the most value to her - at least in the realm of material possessions of sentimental value. If the way she had decorated her home, Chateau de Fae, would serve as any indication, hues of silver and purple held a certain significance to her. So set the search for the materials to comprise the rings with the guiding hand of
Jorik Valnora
at Valnora Enterprise to assist in assembly and crafting. Songsteel seemed an obvious choice for the metal to serve as the base for luminescent properties, magnificent sheen, and durability as well as the value it appeared to hold within the Malvern family. It was a tricky metal to work with, especially in smaller and more complex ways, however, faith was notably held in Jorik and those he worked with in the corporation he ran out of Druckenwell. What came next, was for the crystals and precious gems that would truly make the ring stand out. For that, Alden looked not further than himself. This was to be a deeply personal effect and as such, he needed to pour himself into it - Even if by doing so, it meant he deconstructing a part of his lightsaber for access to the very crystal that focused and powered its blade. A crystal he'd imprinted on and bonded with over the better part of a year. But in doing this, he was effectively putting a part of himself into the ring, while replacing the crystal in his blade with another of the same variety - just without its deep connection to himself. This crystal was the Lorrdian Gemstone, a crystal that had come to be relied on pretty heavily by the man. A crystal he had become very fond of and grown to incorporate in a number of things, to include many of his own personal possessions. The gemstone, that once served as the central focus of his lightsaber would be split into eleven pieces. Ten shards, of two sizes were to be set into the two rings for Faye, while one, larger, crystal was fashioned into a ring-like shaped to fit as a ring within the songsteel that would slide over his own finger.
The next crystal, or rather crystal-like biome, to be incorporated into the ring was to be one of another things that held a close sway over Faye's heart. A companion that had held a connection to both Faye and Alden since their encounter with it on Crait. Hera had become a faith companion to them both, and their bonds with her had grown in significance ever since. So it came as no surprise, that Hera had been able to sense and know Alden's intentions as he played with the idea of his proposal for a number of hours, and even days. As though she was legitimately able to understand the crossroads Alden had found himself, Hera relieved herself a number of the vibrant crystals that adorned her body, as was custom for her species. It was as though Hera was doing what she could to help, and after a moment, Alden's eyes would brighten. To incorporate this would truly bring another level to the ring and it was as though Hera wanted to play as significant a role in their union as she was able. These Vulptex crystals were made into sixteen separate shards or two different sizes to be used in the rings.
Finally, Alden wanted there to be a brilliant centerpiece that would stand above the rest. For this, Alden found himself in the friend world of an allied territory within the borders of the Silver Jedi Order, their capital world of Kashyyyk. Alden had heard rumor of a precious gemstone coming from the world - deep inside the fossilized remains of wroshyr tress. These gemstones were said to be a clouded white in appearance, but shine a brilliant gold when light struck them at a certain angle. The gemstone, itself would have no special property nor sentimental value as the others carried, however, its splendor would not doubt demand the draw of the eye, just as the woman who would bear it.
With all materials picked and collected, it was now on the shoulders of Jorik to make a one of a kind splendor which none would be able to copy. The result? Well it was breathtaking and left Alden speechless as he was handed to finished product from his friend, Jorik. A true wonder that Alden hoped and prayed would be well received by the one who carried his heart.
