Aitis Powarth versus Amee (Kenobi Padawan Tournament)

KENOBI CLASS PRAXEUM SHIP
TRAINING ROOM

Judge: Kian Karr

This was the highest training room on the Praxeum ship. It was a large circular training room, set down into the floor. Along the front and back were a series of seats raised up on platforms for other Jedi to watch the dueling occur. There were a number of younger Jedi present, waiting eagerly for the match to begin.
Kian Karr walked to the center of the training circle and bowed to the gathered group.

"My fellow Jedi." Kian began, clasping his hands behind his back and pacing back and forth as he spoke. "Today we kick off the Kenobi Padawan Tournament. Today's match is between Padawans Aitis Powarth and Amee and is being overseen by yours truly." Kian said tapping his chest with the talon on his middle finger.
"Before we begin, allow me to remind everyone that this tournament is about broadening relationships among your fellow padawans and about striving to hone your abilities with a blade. Don't lose site of the importance of having fun.
"The nature of a tournament such as this means that there will be a winner and a loser. But remember, that in both victory and loss, there are important lessons to be learned!"
"Good luck, and have fun!" Kian said bowing to them all once more and then turning his attention to Aitis and Amee.
"Padawans, please introduce yourselves again."

Striding forward, Aitis would be relaxed, calm. Though, due to the nature of the Force, anyone particularly adept at sensing emotion, he would radiate nerves and jitters. Soft supple brown naga (think buck skin) sheathed his feet, thin and supple soles giving him support. Otherwise, he was dressed typically in the jedi padawan attire, the only difference being the tunic had a hood integral to it, cast up and over his head. The entire outfit was in various shades of cream, a thick chocolate leather belt clasped about his waist, a simple training saber hanging from his belt.

Turning to the assembled people in the audience and then the assembled judges and masters, he bowed his head and as he straightened it he cast back his hood, revealing the eyeless face of all Miralukans.

"Masters, spectators, honored opponent, I am Padawan Aitis Powarth, and it is a great pleasure to be selected to be here today."
