Stealth Management

Strengths:

  • Stealth: Equipped with a number of stealth technologies, the Ahi hopes to get in and get out without being noticed by patrolling enemy combatants.
Weaknesses:

  • Vulnerabilities: As well rounded as the Ahi is, she still has her vulnerabilities particularly along the arms. Standard military-grade shields with one backup and boost which while it may aid the Ahi for a time, it is for that - a time. She doesn’t hold a great many guns and isn’t meant to take on more than one opponent. Even at one on one, it will greatly depend on her opponent as a ship with better armament in her class may find it easy to take her down.
Description:
Based loosely on the old Auli’i gunship design, the Ahi takes the same frame and expands on it. Borrowing elements from the old First Order, Ecklund-class drop ship. The Ahi is designed to head to the ground, and drop up to twelve swoop bikes at its designated site. She can then head back to the void if necessary, turn around and come back and evac her troops and any emergency personnel if necessary.

The Ahi has been equipped with stealth technologies to aid in its combat duties. With the idea that they would slip in behind enemy lines and get to their objective before anyone noticed. Only a handful of the Ahi were produced given the short amount of time - and the few loyal Sith Mandalorian Clans at the time.

Stealth management systems aboard the Ahi include the sensor mask, making the ship more difficult to detect via sensors. An optical shield, making the vessel harder to see visually - coupled with a camouflage system to help keep the ship hidden when on the ground. Photonic emitter and spectral diffusers to help reduce the ship’s physical presence, signature modulator - modifying the ship’s signature hoping to fool enemy sensors. Vectral and WhisperThrust are applied to the ship’s engine designed to leave as little sensor wake as possible with vectral to scatter and disperse emissions.

This by no means equates to the Ahi being completely ‘invisible’ to sensors. There are advanced sensor systems and even standard anti-stealth technologies that may be capable of spotting the Ahi. The hope is that no one would be looking for her to start with.

On the ground, the Ahi has few devices to keep her defended including retractable cannons and dampener aerosol dispersion arms. Cannons and aerosol are to keep both the ship and bike units as safe as possible for the time necessary to load and unload the units. Built with the same hull configuration as the Sith-Imperial Dagger V, the Ahi can withstand some harsh punishment. Like any vessel however, there is only so much it can withstand before succumbing to its wounds.

History:
Clan Amun had been the principal administrative authority over Echol’ya and perhaps all the Sith-aligned Mandalorian clans. It was through their A’lor that Fiolette had worked out terms of the agreement. Fiolette while working with both the Sith Empire and the Sith Mandalorian Clans. A favor to be called in when necessary in exchange for naval assets. Such assets would be drawn up from the Primo Victorian archives.

Several years ago, when Fiolette had been looking to strengthen Primo Victorian Shipwright she found a small shipwright company up for sale. It happened to belong to the daughter of Ajira Cardei, Amaya. Amaya having been called to duty on behalf of her mother’s house could no longer afford it. After the acquisition, many of Amaya’s designs sat collecting dust.

Until it was decided that the Sith Empire would strike at the heart of the former Mandalorian Empire, now ‘United Clans of Mandalore.’

The Lord Admiral brought the blue prints up from the archives and with the aid of the Sith Empire’s numerous facilities began production on the new Sith-Mandalorian line.
