He was born on the ice planet of Csilla, the Chiss Ascendency's political capital. When he was of age, he was sent to the Ascendency's military academy on Rhigar where he trained to work as an Operative for Chiss Intelligence.
After finishing, the Ascendency placed him on a deep undercover mission where he will join the Imperial military to secretly become a double agent for the Ascendency while serving the Empire. He created himself a backstory, having left the Ascendency and in the process stole a ooglith masquer, disguise technology that the Chiss Ascendancy had acquired from the Yuuzhan Vong some years ago to make him appear human.

Blade has an athletically fit body, but it is not entirely flawless. He has scars randomly on his legs and torso. The scars came from past missions and training exercises. The scares are usually keeping them hidden under his clothing. The eye-patch over his right eye was from a vicious injury that could have killed him had it been a direct hit, but he somehow managed to survive.
