Aeth is a product of two clones. She is directly descended from a Palpatine clone, and she is also the daughter of a female clone of Mason Deschart. Mason was unable to have children and so he chose to have himself cloned such that he could have a child. In his case he chose a daughter. That daughter, Caathiel, ended up finding the Risen Empire after her father was killed, and married the Emperor of said Empire. Aeth was the product of their union. Though her mother still lives, her father perished in an assassination while visiting Oaken Dawn, which delegated the role of Empress to her since her mother has no direct lineage to Palpatine. As such, she is the current Empress of the Risen Empire.
