  • GENERAL INFORMATION
    NameAelorian
DesignationSentient: Fully intelligent species capable of abstract thought, complex language, emotional understanding, tool use, and self-awareness. Most humanoid species, as well as many alien and droid species, fall under this category.
    Origins[Centerra]
    Average Lifespan40-60 Years
Estimated PopulationPlanetary – A large, stable population located primarily on one planet or within a single star system. Rarely encountered off-world.
DescriptionThe Aelorians possess vibrant, membranous multi jointed wings with intricate patterns and rutter tendrils or 'wingtails'. They have elegant curved horns and rutter tipped tails, often ending in spade shapes and have small spike-like protrusions.

  • PHYSICAL INFORMATION
    Breathes
    • Type I Atmospheres – Breathable to most humanoid species without special equipment. Standard oxygen-nitrogen mix. Comfortable temperatures and pressure. Most habitable worlds fall into this category (e.g., Coruscant, Naboo).
    • Type II Atmospheres – Breathable but requires a breather or filter due to trace toxins, low oxygen, or particulate matter. Prolonged exposure without protection may cause health issues. Examples include worlds with volcanic activity or pollution.
Average Height of Adults5 ft (152.4 cm)
    Average Length of AdultsN/A.
Skin colorCan appear in any color or combination thereof.
Hair colorCan appear in any color or combination thereof.
DistinctionsAelorians generally have slender physiques with lithe muscles. They have natural intricate skin patterns and come in a verity of colors. These markings start out pale then darken with age, symbolizing maturity. Only males have horns. They have 2 horns that adorn the crown of their heads. They have membranous wings with long whip like tail rutters and a tail terminated in a spade, Only males have minor spikes just before the spade.
    RacesN/A
Force SensitivityHigh – A large portion of the species is Force Sensitive. Force ability is a frequent trait among the population. Examples: Humans, Twi'leks.

  • STRENGTHS & WEAKNESES
    Strengths
    • Agile Flight: Aelorians can maneuver through tight spaces and perform aerial acrobatics.
    • Dream Manifestation: They can project and materialize objects from the dream realm into reality.
    • Subconscious Influence: Aelorians can subtly alter emotions, soothe troubled minds, or inspire creativity.
    Weaknesses
    • Overexertion: Excessive use of psychic powers results in mental strain.
    • Psychic Backlash: They are vulnerable to mental attacks from hostile forces.
    • Manifestation Limitations: Bringing objects into reality causes blindness and exhaustion for up to two weeks.

  • CULTURE
    Diet
    • Omnivore – The most flexible diet type. Omnivores consume both plant and animal matter, allowing them to adapt to a wide range of food sources. Their digestive systems are typically tolerant of most diets, though specific toxins or allergens may still apply.
    • Other (please explain) – preferring nectar and flower-based foods.
CommunicationSpoken languages (Centerran, Lerrithic) & Force Telepathy
    • Spoken Language – The species uses vocalized words and structured grammar to communicate, much like Basic or other galactic tongues. Specify the language used (e.g., Basic, Shyriiwook, Sith, etc.).
    • Body Language – Posture, gestures, tail flicks, ear positions, and facial expressions convey meaning. This method is instinctual and deeply ingrained in social structure.
    • Pheromones – The species emits scent-based chemical signals to communicate mood, reproductive state, danger, or territory. Often combined with other forms of interaction.
    • Telepathy – Communication is conducted mind-to-mind. This may be species-wide or limited to Force-sensitive individuals. Some species speak in emotions or images instead of words.
    Technology level
    • Feudal – These societies use simple manufactured goods and have established regional interactions. Tools are created by artisans or basic workshops. Agriculture involves domesticated animals and planted crops. Travel is done via animal power, sails, or waterways, and there are basic road networks. Writing systems are in use.
(e.g. Gamorr, homeworld of the Gamorreans)
    • Industrial – A division of labor between agriculture and manufacturing exists. Mass production emerges, powered by combustion-based electricity. Transportation and farming are motorized, and basic electrical communications (e.g. telegraphs, radios) are used. Literacy becomes widespread.
(e.g. Ryloth, homeworld of the Twi'leks)
Aelorian society operates at a low level of technological development, broadly comparable to pre-industrial civilizations. They live in elevated dwellings within ancient forests, relying on hand-crafted tools made from natural materials such as wood, bone, and crystal.

While Aelorians possess the rare ability to manifest objects from dreams, the act is taxing, unpredictable, and deeply spiritual. Such manifestations are treated as sacred rites rather than tools of progress, limited by physical strain, cultural restraint, and the symbolic nature of dreams themselves. As a result, their society favors tradition over technological advancement.

Although Aelorians do not form large nations or formal governments, they live in loosely organized groups such as clans, extended families, or traveling bands. Some groups wander seasonally, guided by dreams or tradition, while others settle in small elevated villages built among the trees. These settlements are rare and usually found near sacred hallows, which are sites filled with Force energy where visions often occur.
    Religion/Beliefs
Aelorian belief centers on the Path of Aesthetica, a philosophy that values pleasure, beauty, and joyful indulgence as essential parts of a full life. Followers are encouraged to embrace experience in all its forms; physical, emotional, aesthetic, and sensory. Worship is personal and celebratory, expressed through music, dance, affection, and artistic creation.

The Path teaches that joy is meaningful, and that beauty, desire, and self-expression should not be hidden or restrained. Aelorians value emotional honesty and creative freedom, often placing more importance on how something feels than how it functions.

Outsiders sometimes see their ways as indulgent or frivolous, but Aelorians believe there is wisdom in enjoying life. Living beautifully is seen as a way of being true to oneself.

Though most gatherings are informal, some communities occasionally build beautiful bath houses, quiet, peaceful spaces for rest, social connection, and sensory relaxation.
General behaviorAelorians live in small, loosely structured clans or family groups. Some remain nomadic, while others settle in elevated villages built among the trees. Leadership is informal and usually based on age, experience, or spiritual insight rather than titles or rank. Most decisions are made communally.

Children are raised by the group, not just their parents. Education is hands-on and focuses on skills like crafting, foraging, storytelling, and emotional awareness. They do not use formal schools, but instead learn through guidance from elders and direct experience.

Courtship is often initiated through creative displays such as music, poetry, painting, or dance. Romantic relationships are fluid, and emotional compatibility is highly valued. Mating bonds may be long-term or temporary, depending on mutual choice.

Aelorians are peaceful by nature and prefer diplomacy over conflict. They are not hunters by tradition, relying instead on gathered plants, nectar-based foods, and light farming. They build their homes from natural materials like wood, crystal, and woven fibers.

Every Aelorian is encouraged to pursue a personal form of artistic expression. Creativity is seen as a core part of daily life, not a special skill. They interact well with other species, often serving as mediators, performers, or guides in intercultural settings. Most are diurnal, though those who practice dream-work may keep irregular sleep schedules.

  • HISTORICAL INFORMATION
HistoryThe true origin of the Aelorians is unknown. Their own stories speak of an emergence tied to the Force and dreams, though no clear point of creation is recorded. Some believe they evolved naturally in regions where the Force was unusually strong, while others suggest they were shaped by unseen influences over time.

Their early history is undocumented, passed down only through oral tradition and symbolism. What is known is that they have existed for many generations, living quietly in scattered forest regions
