Hey guys,
I haven't posted much around here because I haven't had much chance to use this character but seeing as the war with the One Sith seems rather desperate in-character I was thinking of starting something new...
What?
A coalition of corporations that produce starships, vehicles, weapons, and companies which involve defense and wartime products and services. This includes mercenaries, too.
The Aegis Corporate Coalition is intended to be an alliance of companies which share information, resources, and coordinate plans to develop paramilitary, special operations, and advanced prototype technologies to defeat the Sith at all costs. Aegis is not meant to be afraid to use methods that would be otherwise seen as unlawful which is why they seek political support and government funding so that they may operate free from scrutiny and legal hazards. Think of them as following a Total War doctrine: Not afraid to do the worst.
On top of that, they seek to coordinate with military efforts in developing super soldiers, elite commando units, and specialized operatives trained in the assassination and total annihilation of Sith.
Technology produced is meant to be low quantity and high quality. Let the Jedi and Republic armed forces do things the way they always have, Aegis just intends to help out by targeting resource depots, cutting off supply chains, disrupting officers, and destroying leadership in the Sith. Afterall, Sith are opportunists. When one of them feels things aren't going well they'll try to take over.
Who?
Any company is free to join if they -- and we -- feel it's beneficial. Companies that do join are expected to (ICly) provide all information about their company including secret projects but secrecy is still maintained within all levels of the Coalition, with treason resulting in severe punishment to those involved.
Similarly, benefactors such as politicians and armed forces officers are free to cooperate in whatever way they can and wish to further these goals including supporting training and deployment efforts of paramilitary units.
Why?
So far the war hasn't gone well and if that -- and the past -- says anything it's that traditional fighting methods don't work. Why the big fleet engagements, why the mass scale invasions? Someone needs to target logistics, walk in the grey area, and be unafraid to use methods that supersede the common interest of politics. The war that you don't read about, that's what we're after.

Goals
If you feel that any of your characters fit our ideals above, feel free to reply here that you're interested. Once I feel there's enough of us cooperating we can start laying out groundwork or corporate cooperation and an introduction thread.
Feel free to join for security purposes, or if you're interested as a spectating party such as military officers who wish they had a bit more firepower that they don't get publicly. As well those who are seeking the creation or develop of black ops units, characters, and roleplays can feel free to cooperate with us.

- Develop advanced high-tech equipment, weapons, vehicles, and starships to fill paramilitary and special operations roles.
- Work with the Republic government on higher levels to obtain wartime autonomy and funding in order to achieve new developments, train elite commandos, and share intelligence gathering.
- Attack enemy logistics, resource depots, disrupt supply lines, and eliminate leadership to undermine the Sith stratagem.
- Utilize doctrines and methodologies of Total War in order to destroy confidence that the Sith have in each other and their leadership.
- Conduct espionage to gain intelligence and pit the Sith and their allies against each other.
- Develop new technologies to target specific Sith-loyal races and creatures for chemical weapons.
- To bring together corporations in The Republic to cooperate with the military in bringing an end to the Sith.
- Support initiatives in government to prevent Republic-based companies from cooperating with any corporation that actively sells to the enemy or works with companies that do.
