Propulsion
Propulsion Package
The primary defense for any diplomatic vessel is its ability to evade capture and combat. This statement was taken as the selling point for the Noble-class. For its size the Noble-class is fast and agile, comparable to smaller light freighters with an oversized engine module. The vessel’s propulsion unit features a set of Mandal Hypernautics Emergency Vectors engines to propel the ship backwards to evade pursuit; as well as AE Rotational Thrusters which all allow for short bursts of speed, maneuverability, or emergency maneuvers to evade enemies.
The Noble-class makes use of a Silk Holdings Silkworm Hypertransit Package, one of the fastest and most reliable Hyperdrives on the market. The Silkworm is a class 0.5 hyperdrive with an integrated 12.0 backup hyperdrive if the primary system is damaged. This is enhanced with a Hyperwave Inertial Momentum Sustainer and Rekali made Ret’lini-class S-Thread booster for escaping and avoiding Interdiction in extremely dangerous situations. The S-Thread booster is only for extreme circumstances where capture or destruction is almost guaranteed as the turbulence suffered by the Noble-class is high enough to cause injury and structural damage despite the inertial compensators. These are connected to a Ric Olie AGS Navigation Computer.
Defensive Systems
The Noble-class is designed to be resilient, to protect its diplomatic or important passengers from harm. The entirety of its weapon systems are non-lethal and arrayed in defensive patterns atop a slightly above average hull armament and military grade shielding. The Noble-class is built on a lightweight alusteel space frame, with its cockpit, passenger, and reactor compartments encased in bronzium interior armor for added protection. The Exterior plating is made from Duraplast G-32 Evasive armor plating, Agrinium impregnated Bronzium, and Gold or Chrome colored decals designed for a light, sleek, elegant external appearance. Its electronics are shielded by agrinium and electromagnetic shielding, providing decent defenses against Ion and EMP weaponry for its internal systems.
Externally the vessel is protected primarily by a military grade shield with a redundant generator similar to how the ancient VIP Lambda-class Shuttles were designed. This provides the bulk of its defense, supported by an array of Anti-Missile systems. MH-EW26 Sensor scramblers provide defenses against missile weaponry by overloading a missile’s guidance system with false positive contacts disabling its ability to track the Noble-class. Supporting these are a battery of Missile Deactivation Transmitters which in a similar vein, lock onto a missile and transmit a series of codes via laser transmission to disable the guidance and explosive of a missile, effectively disarming it. Two AE-CM1 Dampener Chaff Launchers provide fore and aft defense for the vessel against energy weaponry and missile weaponry.
Rounding out its defenses are a set of Cap Drains and a Tractor Shroud for anti-EMP and Tractor Beam protection and an Anti-Ion Emission Tracer to prevent the Noble-class’ Hyperspace jumps from being tracked with extreme precision.
Layout
The Noble-class is a diplomatic vessel, designed to ferry important individuals across the galaxy and intended to be a luxury yacht. Therefore, its layout is less militarized than other corvettes, though it is not without internal defenses and survival potential. If necessary the vessel features a pair of eight person hyperspace capable Escape Pods along with a standard set of escape pods should the vessel need to be abandoned.
The ship is arrayed into three decks, the command deck, the passenger deck, and the engineering deck. The command deck consists of the bridge which has stations for pilot and copilot, communications officer, shield operator, sensor operator, fire control operator, and a position for the Captain which is sometimes differed to the accompanying noble. Just outside is a security station for the bridge, manned by three of the ship’s security officers. Crew and Captain’s quarters are also found on this level. The Captain’s suite has an individual room, refresher, and office while Officers quarters consist of individual room and refresher. Crew sleep in comfortably sized paired rooms with a communal refresher to conserve space.
The Passenger deck is more lavish, with elegant corridor designs. This deck has a Jetstream Meditation Pool, gravity room, and holo-entertainment room intended for use by the important passengers of the vessel for relaxation and recuperation. A circular consulate chamber has been included in the design to allow for visiting dignitaries to meet aboard the Noble-class and comes equipped with its own independent life support and climate control system, able to adjust for different species as desired.
Two staterooms are situated on the deck, with luxury refreshers, walk-in closets, a king size Alderaan Relaxa-Bed, and a foyer. They contain a holoscreen and other basic entertainment features, and a private communication suite with its own secure holo-terminal. The walls are fitted with Anti-listening devices to ensure privacy is maintained within the staterooms. Other personalized touches can be added to the staterooms with relative ease, such as new decor, furniture, art, or other such finery. Each Stateroom is encased in bronzium armor, can be sealed from the rest of the ship featuring an independent emergency generator, life support, and an exterior shield that covers the door and wall adjacent to the corridor in case of emergencies. Beyond these, is the main passenger quarters, with six two person dormitories and four individual dormitories that are of comfortable size. Normally these are for personal guards, aides, handmaidens, and other accompanying staff members.
The engineering deck contains several corridors throughout the ship to allow for ease of movement between essential systems without having to cross through the Passenger deck. There are quarters for the five members of the Engineering crew, access to the hyperdrive, engine units, shield systems, and other systems from this deck for repairs. The Noble-class is able to externally dock four craft for refuelling, however it cannot rearm or repair the vessels as it lacks a hangar. For internal defense, corridors feature stasis shields controlled by the Bridge Security Station, and concealed turreted ACS 203 Hellstorm Rotary Blaster Cannons controlled by a droid brain. When activated the turrets either drop from concealed panels in the ceiling or tiles in the floors of the level they are protecting. The passenger compartment and bridge can lock down with double layered high-density turadium blast doors in emergencies.

Strengths:
- Speed and Agility: The Noble-class is designed to be quick and agile, further supported by a series of compatible propulsion units and Hyperdrive systems to allow it flee and evade enemies very well.
- Defenses: With redundant shielding and a durable hull, the Noble-class is nothing to snark at. Combined with an array of anti-missile defenses it’s designed to survive long enough to escape conflict.
- No Offensive Weaponry: The Noble-class literally has no way to damage or disable enemy craft unless it were to ram them, and that would likely not end well for the Diplomatic Yacht. Unable to outrun Starfighters and Interceptors, the Noble-class has no way to defend itself in prolonged engagements.
- No Complement: The Noble-class is lacking in a Hangar, and though it can refuel 4 fighters at a time it cannot carry them as its own complement.
- Turbulence: The Ret'lini-class S-Thread Booster is known to cause damaging turbulence when used on a vessel this size, serious enough that a structurally unsound vessel can be destroyed and injuries are not uncommon.
