SPECIAL FEATURES
Detailed Special Features
Strengths:
  • Stealth: The combined systems can allow the wearer to blend into the shadows and be practically invisible to sensors and scanners.
  • Infiltration: With the suit’s sub-systems, the wearer is able to get through most security measures uninhibited.
Weaknesses :
  • Light Armor: The Ghost armor provides very little in the way of blaster and slug protection, really only a simple blast vest covering the torso and head.
  • Double Blind: No-Show also interferes with the scanners and sensors of the user, forcing them to make use of passive sensors and visual inspection.
DESCRIPTION
Alderaan Engineering’s Armortech Division first Stealth model is designed to be the multirole, stealth, and provide the wearer with numerous tools and technologies used by the old Alliance Special Forces.

The armor is made from a flex armor mesh fitted to the interior of the thinsuit to cover the vital organs of the wearer, providing moderate protection against projectiles and energy weapons, as well as protecting them from environmental hazards and radiation, extreme temperatures, and shrapnel. The exterior of the suit is lined in shadowsilk to absorb light and sound allowing the wearer to better blend into their surroundings, especially darkness and shadows, as well as helping them to remain extremely quiet. Just like its ancient counterpart the suit contains no technology that is able to be detected by sensors thus relying on a limited set of passive sensors such as infrared, low-light, topography, and rangefinders. The helmet features an atmospheric shield projector along the central line which can protect the wearer from vacuum and chemical attacks.

For infiltrating, the Ghostsuit features a No-Show worn on the wrist, which when active renders the suit and the wearer undetectable by sensors and scanners as well as inaudible. This is achieved by projecting a skintight electromagnetic field around the wearer. However, this technology also interferes with communications and sensors worn by the wearer requiring them to rely on basic passive sensors and hand signals and non-verbal methods for communication with others while the system is active. Combined with this electromagnetic sheath is the technology in Individual Field Disruptors allowing the wearer to bypass most types of shielding such as ray, stasis, particle, deflector, and many others unharmed and undetected.

In addition the suit uses several other pieces of equipment to break locks, open doors, disable holocameras, and other types of security systems that might be present. For mobility the suit uses a set of grav-boots allowing them to fly at altitudes of one hundred fifty meters and Whisper Jetpacks for fast flight travel, both of which are designed for stealth and quiet operation. Magno-Grip sole plates allow the wearer to traverse zero-g with relative ease.
