  • The Adelttite Crystals have a faint potential of disrupting minds in raw, pure form, but when successfully attuned to an individual, will continuously shield their minds from mental attacks, either through natural species abilities, technology-based devices, or Force-based abilities. It allows for the mind to relax, to grow calm, more focused and aware of the intrusion. Those species that have a natural affinity to shielding their minds from Force-based mental attacks do not get any additional advantages.

  • Regardless of the Force alignment, Light or Dark, these crystals rapidly aid in the healing process from certain Force-based abilities such as Force Healing and those powers under this umbrella of classification; as well as such Dark Side abilities for example, Dark Transfer and those other abilities that fall under this category. This includes both self-healing and healing others.

  • When infused into the hilt of a lightsaber, and aid lightsaber becomes activated: the blade that is produced holds a stronger beam for assisting in cutting through the majority of known metals and alloys, whilst possessing a wider beam for better blaster deflection.

  • Adelttite Crystals boast a durability that borders on the absurd, their molecular lattice behaving like a self-correcting composite that refuses to fracture under conventional stress. Tests involving high-energy impacts, rapid thermal cycling, and directed plasma bursts barely register as surface scarring, as if the crystal simply absorbs and redistributes the force through its internal grid. Even precision cutters struggle—laser edges stutter, vibroblades chatter—because the crystal reacts like a material that's already anticipating the strike.

  • Attuning an Adelttite Crystal is like forcing one's mind into a hostile encryption protocol that keeps rewriting itself mid-handshake; every attempt floods the brain with jittery psychic data and emotional feedback sharp enough to sting. Jedi can quickly find their discipline fraying, each failure spiking irritation, then frustration, then a dangerously compelling surge of anger that the crystal amplifies like a feedback loop, nudging them toward the Dark Side before they even realize it. Sith fare worse: their aggressive push to dominate the crystal can backfire instantly, the Adelttite reflecting their malice as hallucinogenic noise and contradictory voices until their thoughts splinter and sanity unravels in a slow, static-filled collapse.

DESCRIPTION

The Adelttite Crystals were discovered deep within an isolated cavern on Kirtania, hidden beneath a labyrinth of basalt tunnels that had never known the touch of sunlight when explorers had stumbled upon it while mapping seismic anomalies. The cavern itself was a vast, cathedral-like hollow, illuminated only by the faint bioluminescent glow of mineral veins that traced the walls like frozen lightning.

The Jedi first uncovered the Adelttite Crystals' connection to the Force when a wandering Healer brought a small shard from Kirtania into a meditative chamber of the Temple. The moment the crystal rested beside her, the ambient turbulence of the Force seemed to quiet; anxious thoughts became muddled, intrusive emotions baffle. When she aligned the crystal to herself, her focus deepened to an almost luminous clarity and her mind, shielded from outside invasions. Experiments soon revealed that Adelttite Crystals acted like a harmonic purifier: when a Jedi channeled healing energy through it, the crystal refined their intent, strengthening restorative abilities and easing both physical wounds and psychic scars: either for themselves or others.

The Sith discovered its properties through far darker means. A Lord of the Sith sensed an unexpected whisper in the Force, a dampening echo that weakened his attempts at telepathic domination; and traced it to Adelttite Crystals recovered from a stolen Jedi cache. Unlike the Jedi, he met the crystal with hostility, only to find its surface unyielding, its resonance silencing his mental probes like a closed iron gate. Intrigued by this defiance, he experimented further, forcing Apprentices to endure mind assaults while wearing Adelttite amulets. To his surprise, the crystal shielded them, blunting manipulation and strengthening mental discipline. Even attempts to twist the crystal toward cruelty only resulted in protected thoughts and rapid healing, as he perceived it.

Thus, both Orders learned that the Adelttite Crystals' nature was incorruptible: it amplified healing and clarity, strengthened the mind's defenses, and refused to serve any purpose rooted in malice; an impartial sentinel of the Force that guarded, soothed, and revealed truth in equal measure.
