Lord of the Sith

NAME: Adeline "Adi" Telt
RANK: Lord of the Sith
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 28
SEX: Female
HEIGHT: 5'-5" (153 cm)
WEIGHT: 120 lbs (54 kgs)
EYES: Silver / Gray
SKIN: Dark / Brown
FORCE SENSITIVE: Yes - active Lord of the Sith

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
A brilliant mind and a progressive Sith, Adeline Telt represents the soldier's Sith. She is more than capable – and often prefers – to put herself in a room of pilots, mechanics and engineers rather than her fellow Sith. She is passionate about her work, and is willing to listen to the common man when it comes to increasing the potential capacity and lethality of the Sith Order.

While never a star combatant, Adi has always made up for her somewhat lacking saber skills with a well-rounded and extensive command of the Force. She excels in the unique and unexpected, putting skills of telekinesis, and biological and mental influence to good use

Ironically, the Sith-turned-engineer has never gotten the knack of slicing. Programming, security, and software to hardware configuration for her prototyping equipment – certainly. But accessing what does not belong to her, has always required outside assistance.

APPEARANCE:
Lord Telt is of average height and weight for an individual in her position, maintaining a toned, athletic physic appropriate for her level of training and conditioning. She general wears her long, dark hair loosely down her back, but will style it otherwise if required for safety when working in a sensitive environment, or when required to fit into a protective helmet. She is equally capable of a disarming, brilliant smile - and a cold, deadly stare. She uses both to her advantage.

BIOGRAPHY:
Adeline was born on Dromund Kaas to parents of average placement within the system. The only child, Adeline had a simple upbringing until her Force potency was revealed at a young age. While not the first Force sensitive child of her family's bloodline, she would be the first in several generations to have potency enough to be notable.

Never a model student, and far from a prodigy with her saber, Adeline found alternate ways of making her mark. Where her mother's family is proud of their military service and support, Adeline's parents had unremarkable military careers. Yet from a young age she proved a knack for tinkering and repair work, starting with toys and datapads and working up to larger computer systems and the occasional speeder bike. Her tech savvy nature blossomed into tangible assets as she learned to augment her position as a Sith with gadgets and tech.

As an apprentice to a Lord Hestis, Adeline served well for the Sphere of Military Defense. Stationed onboard the Lord's destroyer, Adeline quickly put her technical prowess to use, working hand in hand with the ship's more experienced engineers to learn their trades and supplement her Sith training. Exposure to more Imperial ships and the vast array of armaments and support systems they were capable of carrying, Adeline developed a real passion for the development of naval technology. Recognizing her potential, Lord Hestis would see Adeline transitioned to the Sphere of Technology as he continued her training.

At what would become the end of her time as Lord Hestis' apprentice, Adeline and her master were engaged in a skirmish with enemy forces. Outnumbered and outgunned in her master's frigate, Adeline put to good use a power converter she had been quietly working on. Rerouting and re-configuring the system's of her master's ship, the likely doomed vessel would survive the day, taking a few enemy ships with it before safely retreating. With total annihilation prevented, and a plan in place to put her process before other Imperial engineers, Lord Hestis, with the support of the Sphere of Technology, would determine her ready to carry the title of Lord of the Sith.

After joining the Sphere of Technology, Adeline quickly put her brain to good use at an Imperial research and development shipyard. Working hand in hand with Imperial engineers to push the envelope of development with Imperial capitol ships, Adeline assisted in the design and implementation of next generation shielding and guidance technologies.

SHIP:
Modified by her own hand, and the resources at her disposal, Lord Telt's personal ship represents her attention to detail. What was once a descendant of a Lethisk-class freighter, the Lord's ship, ironically named "Spare Parts" – is a masterpiece of engineering and advnacements in comfort. Modified to include several staterooms, impressively updated shields and a hyperdrive capable of keeping up with most capitol ships, the Lord's once sluggish civilian freighter packs a modern punch.

EQUIPMENT:
Adeline carries with her at all times, the lightsaber she herself constructed. Carrying a faded crystal that emits a grayish, ghostly colored blade, she has always appreciated the monochromacy of the aesthetic, and finds it to be in line with how she's often forced to approach problem solving in the Technology realm.

Perhaps unique to her - but not to her bloodline - is a chip embedded in the back of both of her hands. Invisible to the naked eye when deactivated, but certainly present to the touch, Adeline has a biometric communicator and near field communication chip concealed in both hands. While often simply used to access her own computer systems, security and ship lockouts, the small chips can also be used as temporarily storage devices, and the unit embedded in her left hand has a series of communicator lights that can be linked to datapads or other systems to coordinate navigational pings, incoming communications and other basic day to day functions.
