Suggestion Adding More Roleplay Prefixes

I was thinking it could be cool if we had some type of “short fire” or “speed” prefix for threads that a writer wants to finish quickly. This would be for stories when the author wants to attract other writers who might be open to posting a few times in rapid succession or for a small scene they want to complete in just a week so need a few fast replies.

Sometimes you post something that’s a turning point in your characters journey but it ends up taking months to complete. This might solve that.

Open to criticism or disagreement but please be kind.

I'm of the same opinion. I feel like we already have plenty of prefixes that aren't really used much anyway. There's nothing stopping someone from putting a whole "quick fire" mention in their title.

We have a speed prefix already, it's called Dominion!

Jokes aside, I wouldn't be opposed to a prefix that conveyed something like that. We already have first reply, why not Zoom?

It makes sense and I’m not opposed to the idea. A Zoom Prefix sounds cool. But I’m just wondering do we specifically need a new prefix for this, when you can just put in the opening post Rapid Fire, Speed Thread, etc so people know what it’s about? A new prefix would denote a new type of thread with new rules created for the forum I’m assuming. Do we feel this addition would bring something new that we don’t have access to presently? Just questions to consider!

Honestly it might not be popular enough to warrant a whole prefix. But this is why discussion is good! It helped me realize that.

As a slow poster I +1. I tend to stay away from first replies despite wanting to meet some new folks because I know my speed doesn’t jive with everyone. Maybe some kind of sub-prefix. Not adverse either to a pickup on the thread title, like speed post/ normal speed / slow burn

Honestly I’m pretty slow too for most things. Please don’t think this was an attack on slow posters.

It was more like when you have that one thread, like building a lightsaber or getting off a planet or something that you want done quickly so you can just move the story forward.

But as I type this I realize perhaps a blog would solve this?
