Time was of the essence. She always found that concept to be the most amusing thing, when you ruled over a kingdom and had yourself placed above other beings, time meant everything. It was as if trying to grasp eternity, for who was the one that could find time to do everything that needed to be done? She had servants, those that acted under her name, used her authority to enforce her will over others and ensure dominion over all things, but still, something went missing, and despite being quite indifferent over the need of those ruled by her, Lunafreya could feel her heart weighting down inside her chest. She was worried. Things were done so easily, JanFathal fell, her vengeance was taken and retribution was inflicted on those that made her suffer inside that horrible prison, the Elenna was hers, a piece of her race’s glorious past that now served as her plaything, all of the Mornedhel were now her slaves, even if they had no idea about that.

During her campaign sliding herself up the ranks of the Sith Eternal, Lunafreya was given the trust of the Worm Emperor, and now kept that trust hidden from the Dark Lord and his pathetic empress, for both had given her so much for her betrayal over the false imperials of the New Order, it was Jocelyn that appointed her as Grand Moff. A mockery of sorts, as she was quite aware of the fact that she was now Grand Moff of Nothing, an empty title with nothing to show for, except the fleet and armies tightly held under command, but that was about to change, the time had come, her conquest inside the forgotten and half desolated Sith Worlds was about to begin. Out of the Worm, Lunafreya squeezed for muscle, for her honeyed words spoke of magnificent rewards for him, and out of the Empress, she squeezed herself the resources necessary for this enterprise: Udûn, the Hellish Bowels Among the Stars. A planet that had its place in myth and legends of the Children, where they spoke of blood-lusting demons, horrible hounds, mighty wyverns, gigantic ogres with enough strength to tear a human down with their bare hands. The perfect site for building her coven, and creating for herself the believers that will endorse her divinity.

“Your Grace.”, a calm and polite voice called her, as she sat down on her throne inside the private great hall she kept aboard the Arrogante. Even with her eyes closed, Lunafreya could feel
Halion Nelacar bowing down before her, the male reeked of subservient mannerism best fit to a dog, even though he prized himself for walking without making a sound, Lunafreya already knew his ways and heard him as soon as got out of the elevator, five rooms away. In a fluid jest, her eyes opened, as if the act itself was sluggish and boring, her gaze of golden eyes was directed at the male as he continued his speech. “The envoy dispatched by the Worm Emperor has arrived, should I have dinner prepared for both of you?”

“No.”, her lips muttered as her hand released her head from its grip and signaled him with two of her bony fingers. A moment took place, as
Gentiana continued to play her notes on her musical instrument, the sound filled down her hall as if it was part of the place. “Bring him to me.”

A bit excitement continually bubbled to the surface for Quintus as he left his transport to join the Grand Moff's efforts in the name of the Worm Emperor. This would be his first assignment that wasn't simple training, and while he still felt relatively unready he couldn't help the bit of a rush that came with the feeling of growing. He'd already begun to change greatly since learning to utilize the force, and the bit of eldritch magic he'd learned had only amplified it. Now he could feel it whisper to him often in his quiet hours as he read and put his knowledge into practice.

Still he did his best to keep his excitement from being noticeable, it wouldn't do for his first attempt as an envoy to play the part of a young fool. It was a simple enough mission, help an ally strike into unknown worlds and then report on said ally. Looking through the ship as he was silently escorted he couldn't help but notice a sense of opulence and class. He chose a more spartan existence himself but he couldn't help but admire it a bit. If nothing else it added quite a bit of flair.

Catching his escort give him another glance out the side of his eyes he imagined the coarse robes he wore were perhaps thought to be unfit on such a ship by his escort. Not that he said that much, Quintus may not have looked the part of the powerful, much less the rich. He was Sith though, and that was all he needed to be. Perhaps that's why he was picked though.

Finally the door opened leading Quintus into the presence of Lunafreya Solidor Lunafreya Solidor a Queen, SIth and Grand Moff. Quite the collection of titles. Giving a bow appropriate for a Sith Lord he spoke rather dispassionately as he half listened to the whispers in his ear. "Lady Solidor, my name is Quintus Varro. The Worm Emperor has sent me to aid you in whatever way needed in forging your path through these worlds. I am at your service."

Without moving a muscle on top of her throne, Lunafreya observed with expressionless eyes as the newcomer walked inside her hall. Someone less perceptive could easily mistake her with a statue, with that white-silver hair, that unspotted milky skin, without ever moving or giving up anything in that poorly lighten chamber they found themselves in, were it not for her gaze, those two violet orbs of hers, ever watching and ever sharp. With a liquid natural heathendom, her arm moved from her chin back at her chair, comfortably resting there, as she briefly exchanged a glance with Nelacar, understandable only to him. The butler, cunning and polite, leaned over the human’s shoulder, almost whispering to him.
“The Duchess is most pleased to have you with us.”, he stood upright once again, before taking three steps closer to the small stairway that elevated her throne, bowing in submission and declaring with a calm tone of voice.Milady, I will take my leave.” Without any response from her, Nelacar turned his back at her throne and began a calm pace to exit the chamber, each of his steps echoed in the air. When he left, they were both almost entirely alone, as Nithral raised his head from Lunafreya’s lap, focusing his gaze at the human, snarling in a rusty low menacing tone.

As the silence grew inside the room, and her gaze was kept in the human. The Solidor took her time before deciding how to proceed, deciding to speak with a crystal clear voice, of such beauty that would shame the greatest nymph in this galaxy.
“So that repulsive monster has finally decided to intervene with my affairs. I can assume by that goofy expression in what you call face that they forgot to mention how much I despise humans?”, a very brief smile appeared on the left corner of her lip as she said that, disappearing almost as if it never existed. “No matter. You will learn, they always do.” On her long years walking through this plane of existence on her original body, Lunafreya worked with humans just enough times that she could count it with a single hand, and even that never worked well for them. “Let’s begin with a proper lesson on curtsey... Now, bow down.”, said that, the arm that rested on the throne, raised a single finger from its position as her index crimson nail, sharp enough to cut a wookie’s throat, tapped twice against the metallic surface on her seat, echoing the sound out loud.

Out of the shadows, two gleaming red eyes made themselves visible. Followed by the sound of steps, loud metallic steps, took din as he came out of the dark corner he stood. A black, well-polished giant encased in metal, a droid one could not, but not like the others, for Ecliptor was not bound by the same limitations one would have, he was sentient, almost too sentient, and completely devoted to his Mistress, the rebellious child of House Solidor of Hellin Prime. For this was the way of Lunafreya, as she ravaged the galaxy, so too she learned how to draw monsters ever closer to her dark twisted heart, for she was their source, their treasure, and their fate.

The entire thing started odd enough as Quintus wondered if he was going to spend the entire even talking through proxies. Ah well, if that was the normal protocol for them with their Duchess so be it. Not bothering to turn his head as the final steps of the man who'd spoken to him faded into the background he wondered if he'd have to wait in silence. Was she meditating perhaps?

Of course her immediate spewing of rage and hate were not expected at all. He assumed the repulsive monster she spoke of was the Worm Emperor, and as she continued into her speech about humans his eyebrows just rose higher. He considered his words for a moment, but a moment was too long as she'd already it seemed made her decision to continue on with her attempt at dominance. This already had all the hallmarks of a headache, but the real question was why had the Worm sent him?

Glancing to his side he watched the pair of red eyes open up and slowly the booming of heavy metallic steps revealed quite the droid, or at least he assumed it was one. An interesting first move for a supposed ally, or perhaps a test, but again who knew with Sith of the Empire. Giving a toothy smile which revealed his large canines he looked back over towards the woman on her throne as he shook his head. "Human, really? Ah, well at least it leaves plenty of fuel for hate, no shortage of them after all. However no human will ever compare to a Firrerreon, their biology simply can't compare to my people. Not really worth hating, just sadly inferior."

Looking back over towards the large droid he looked it over with interest before speaking again. "This one is interesting though, a unique model, no? So is it going to attempt pain, or just a general forced movement of my limbs? Oh, perhaps even a bit of both, how lovely." Looking back at her the smile still hadn't dropped. If she wanted to break him by granting him more strength she'd come to the wrong man. He would not wear chains again.

That beautiful mask of immaculate pale flesh of hers didn’t even dare on flinching a muscle. While inside her head, a thousand thoughts ran its shadowy hallways in a cacophony of voices, aiming to call out of her attention and to be the fruit of her will to make it so, for one among them prevailed above his brethren, whispering inside her pointy ears. ‘Was he deaf?’, but despite that fact, Lunafreya replied to him with a dragged tone of her mellifluous voice, as if the explanation of her words brought nothing but sadness to her shining self.
“I don’t recall laying claim on hating humankind. For it is to my understanding that when you carry hate inside yourself about anything, it means that you actually care about that, and just feel nothing but resentment to mask your own stupidity to change that hatred into something else entirely.”, her hand on the side of the seat she occupied slide itself to the scales on
Nithral’s back, gently scratching that furry area of her pet, while he shrugged at her touch. “I feel nothing but discontent for your kind. The humans ever skew history’s weave. With haste, they move through too-short lives. Driven to err by base desires, toward waste and wasting on they run, caring little for other bearers of more ancient knowledge than they would ever expect of obtaining if they were granted true immortality.”

The caress on the back of her pet’s neck stopped, and Nithral jumped away from her lap, gliding to her feet, offering a long glimpse towards the newcomer. Hissing in his direction with acid feelings taking over its voice, his mind and hers were connected as one, both knew exactly what the other was feeling without a word being spoken between them. Yet, her voice kept speaking, almost as whispering in the pinnacle that existence actually was.
“For immortal was my kind at the beginning of everything, and immortal we remain. So it was said, so it was listened.”, the hand that scratched her pet, came from her lap, raising three fingers in front of her forehead, resting in there for a brief moment with her eyes closed, a small pray of respect for the religion of her people, passed through generations for all of those with ears to hear its
Word. And as her eyes opened once again, so did herself made the speech of her crimson lips made itself once again heard. “Nevertheless, as much as exultation can be found to have jesters and sycophants flooding the tiles of my court...”, and in the matter of the microparticles that composed a nanosecond, Lunafreya simply vanished from the top of her throne, her body disappeared into a cloud of putrid golden smoke that dissipated into the air of the room, leaving only the heavyweight of silence behind, with only the sound of the tiny draconic figure’s breath being listened, as not even Ecliptor dared to emit a single tune, until... her voice came again, as the echo of something far, far away. “Ourself beget scarce tolerance towards pride and foolishness.”

Less than a meter was the distance chosen to be assumed by her, as the cloud of putrid golden smoke appeared once more. Bringing her body back from the Veil, Lunafreya stood tall as a tower, yet she bore much more majesty and arrogance than the greatest empress of the Core Worlds. Yet, something poured out of her soul, for she was a sorcerer of dreadful power, mistress of shadows and of phantoms, foul in wisdom, cruel in strength, misshaping what she touched, twisting what she ruled, queen of monsters, duchess of slaves, dragoness countess; her dominion was torment.
“So bear in mind, that I have little need of having need of others to inflict you any pain.”, there was poison in those words, as the shadow of a menacing warning much more deadly than he could wonder laid bare on her speech. And with the grace of the most angelic creature in the galaxy, Lunafreya placed the palm of her hand above her chest, whipping with her index finger on a single voluntary movement towards, as it unleashed an invisible
blast with the Force, meant to toss him with intense violence against the stairs of scaffold stairway that lead to her throne. "Ecliptor.", her lips muttered one final time before her entire body vanished into the air once more, leaving only that putrid cloud of golden smoke behind. As if he was given a well-elaborated command from his Mistress, the dark armored android drew the sword from its sheet, taking a step forward, prepared for the brawling ahead.

Ah, so it wasn't just humans it was all things she labeled as human and mortal. As her pet leaped down and hissed he considered the entire scene so far for a moment. Did they simply obey her like minions or was this more of a worship? There were many who indulged greatly into this, the need to control others. The need to feel above them and be worshiped as a Saint in the Eternal Faith. Yet for Quintus he paid homage to no one, and he wouldn't start with this one. He would rise above himself and continue to raise without end. He was in a race with no one else, and he needed to prove himself to no one else. Just himself.

As she simply vanished though and seemed to move about the room like air he had to admit her knowledge was beyond his though. She was a Grand Moff though, and that alone left much to be expected. She was also an ally of the Worm Emperor which meant she was indeed interesting for him to take notice. Still he was not told to come here as a slave, but to aid. Besides he would be a slave for no one.

As she reappeared he stood silently the grin unmoving still as he had already accepted that some sort of pain would come, but with her last words he no longer knew if he should expect them from the droid behind him. Yet even as he considered it the answer came with a quick action as he found himself thrown into her stairs, the blow cutting into his face as he felt the hot droplets and iron scent fill his nose. Yet he stood up without pause as the bruises began to heal before they even turned colors.

He smiled through a split in his lip that one of the edges of the steps had split even as he could feel the tickling feelings of it pulling together. His Firrerreon metabolism already activating as the skin turned from gold to silver. He soaked up the pain inside, the bit of fear of more that was still to come, and even the anger towards her that was beginning to build. Even as he went to move his eyes back to her she vanished though, and all he was left with was the droid. Hearing it draw it's weapon he simply laughed, well, it was a different way to greet guests but if she wanted to grant him more strength he would take the gift.

Focusing he let the darkness pour inside of him as he felt the chains of the force connecting him to the oncoming droid. No doubt it must be something special to serve her here in her very throne room, but there was always the question of what. Igniting his saber he stood and waited for it patiently as he began to probe it's construction and try to feel at one with it. "Well, tin man, looks like it's just you and me. I'd ask if she greets everyone like this but I think we both know the answer is yes. So what's your story or do you just do the stabbing around here?"

It was much more flippant then he'd usually be but there was something about another attempting to dominate him that brought out the defiance in him. He would not be chained, he was Sith.

A watchful protector. That was the cornerstone embedded inside the making of Ecliptor’s head, along with countless other fancy nuances add by Automatron’s chief engineers that so elegantly enjoyed reminding her how expensive that machine was, it cost more in its making than the entire wealth of some planets in the galaxy. Lunafreya enjoyed keeping him around for the amount of trust it could be placed upon his shoulders, he was loyal to the fold and never had anything to say about her orders, no matter how immoral they were. Out of a shadowy perch, something made itself known to all present, it dressed on fancy crimson robes carved with gemstones and jewelry, to hide the stench of poison that exhaled from within, the avian creature muttered a shrill note of deep thought, a sound that echoed inside her chamber as Silifant so soundlessly approached her throne.
"
MMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm...”, both of his eyes were locked on the incoming fight, curious to see where it would lead to. No one inside this vessel knew her grace’s thoughts better than he, others would call him Silifant the Sycophant, but best known as Master Chatelain, Lunafreya’s Steward.

A loud, single acute note bewildered even the melody that was played in the room for a moment. Enough to bring brief irritable expressions to the faces of all the aliens within the vicinity, all were members of stocks famed for its sensitive hearing characteristics that were struck with discomfort on their tympanums by that. The silent dark knight was not moved by that taunting, nor did he moved, almost immediately he decided to take action as a small compartment where his mouth would be appeared to open, revealing a small black barrel from where a concentrated wave of its sonic emitter was unleashed, not charged with enough power to bring about its most cruel molecular-disintegrating consequences, but enough to push his foe elsewhere, or even to stun him dared he keep his ground from he so bravely stood. Distorted by the sonic emitter, the wave produced a single understandable word.
Mediocre!”, he said as his voice emulator adjusted itself by making less annoying noises such as the one from before, it was a long time ago since he last spoke a word out loud. “I am Ecliptor, protector of her Grace the Duchess Lunafreya van Solidor! It’s my greatest honor to face you in this field of glory. Rejoice!”, his arm holding the sword came with the full might of his brute strength, a single clean slash to the other side of his body, the air around the blade was being heated, the dark of the blade changed into glowing blazing metal as it was meant to withstand its lightsaber’s strikes. A display of his own brute strength.

The machine was already used on fighting other force users, Bastion had thought him that, Ossus had taught him that. Both of his armor’s pauldrons slithered upwards firing two barbed spikes from the inner launchers coupled inside him against his foe. The first and most formidable of his kind, that was the promise made to Lunafreya by its creators. Ecliptor did not go unwanted, his stance proved that fact quite well to all those that underestimated the fact that he was a machine, only to be cut in a fiery rage by his cursed blade. Yet, his task was to maim this time, not to kill as she was quite clear on that, for a single gesture of her fingers and he showed perfect understanding of that which his Mistress wanted him to do it so, however, even for a mechanical brain such as his, Ecliptor knew there was something odd in that human, the entirety of the complex calculations of his brains told him that, they warned him to be aware of his future actions.
