ACS-002 Tempest Jedi Expeditionary Armor
Image: Here and Here
Intent: A Republic counter to the Crab Armor worn by the Sith
Development Thread: Here (Laminanium)
Manufacturer: ArmaTech Combat Systems
Model: Mk1
Affiliation: ArmaTech Combat Systems
Modularity: Colors and size can be altered to fit the wearer
Production: Limited
Material: Laminanium-Neutronium alloy Plates, Molytex Fiber Armor-Glove

Classification: Multi-Purpose
Weight: 10 Kilograms

Quality: 8
Special Features:
  • High Blaster and Slugthrower Protection. The regenerative properties of Laminanium allow it to heal from damage it does suffer during combat. It is able to regenerate from blaster weapons and slugthrowers in minutes, and extreme damage in less than a day
Support Systems:
  • Power Armor Liner, Temperature Regulator, IFF Circuitry, Digital Life Support System Readout
Weaknesses:
  • Electricity: Although insulated the armor remains weak to electricity as laminanium is a conductor. The lining provides only minimal protection from electric shock.
  • Weak Spots: Like all armor it is weak at the joints, and neck. In this armor’s case it lacks a helmet as standard leaving the head exposed as well.
Description:
A molytex fiber suit is the basis for the armor, designed to protect its wearers form bladed weaponry and shrapnel. Included within the armor-glove is a power armor liner, granting resistance to fire, acid, ice, and blunt force trauma, decreasing the risk of injuries from falls and impacts to their chest. A temperature regulator assists in maintaining a stable environment for the wearer allowing them to survive comfortably in desert or artic climates, however extremely cold or hot temperatures will still affect them.

Light weight Laminanium-Neutronium alloy plates cover the vital areas on the body, granting increased protection from blasters and slugthrowers. The plates protect the back, chest, abdomen, and sides with segmented plates over the vital areas, without sacrificing mobility. The upper arms and legs are only armored on the outside and front to reduce weight and provide maximum protection at maximum maneuverability. The forearms and shins are fully encased in armor, providing the most protection to the areas most likely to be struck in close quarters combat. Hands and Feet are covered by a knuckle plate and segmented sabaton, providing some protection, but not much. Finally repairs to the armor are minimal after combat, as the plates will regenerate. Only the laminanium ingot needs to be replaced every so often or after significant damage. The 10% Neutronium within the plates disperses energy across a wider surface, lessening the power of energy weapons that strike the plates, though a the cost of inflicting damage across a wider area, meaning it will take longer for the Laminanium to regenerate.

The armor is designed to be worn underneath Jedi robes, and is form fitting to keep it tight so that it doesn’t clank around. The laminanium plates are covered in molytex to muffle any metallic noises they might make while someone is trying to sneak around. Blast energy sinks are distributed in the armor to absorb energy from a blaster bolt and lessen the likelihood of serious injury or death.

Most of the submission is fine, and the dev thread is solid. I would ask that you remove the weakness regarding limited production as that is a production limitation, and can't be listed as a weakness as it doesn't directly impact the useability or exploit a negative flaw in the armor while it is in use. You will need to replace this with another weakness related directly to the armor.

This is what I changed it to.
