Acolytes and Dead Cults

Kane held back his power, and was a bit farther away from the sith than the two other combatants. As he saw that the sith was going to be overwhelmed by them, he approached quickly, with his crimsom saber ignited, already charging for the back of the sith, in a thrusting manner, seeing as both their lightsabers were clashing with his own two lightsabers. He went rushing to attempt a thrust at the back of the Zabrak, and he was sure he could put him down. And if not him, maybe the Jedi could, seeing as he was also in a lethal position.

OOC: @Zakath Tariz It was not meant to be a 'For sure' hit or Gmodding in any way, I should have worded it differently to ensure it was understood as an attempt rather than a landed blow, apologies.

Without a moments hesitation the beast quickly used the momentum of [member="Elise Ike"] 's blade clashing against his own to twist his body back around towards the oncoming [member="Kane Mylek"] , quickly swiping his blade against Kanes, pushing it to catch and lock with Zakath's sapphire lightsaber.

Quickly his left hand extended for a split second, gripping the force and surrounding his blade he'd thrown to quickly pull it back to his awaiting palm, the snow white blade rising till the tip was aimed at Elise.
A low chuckle rumbled from his throat before his lips parted to speak

"I have not had this much fun in ages. I knew if I submitted to incarceration I would find a new path for life."

His burning sulfuric orange eyes, ringed with dark violet, shifted between the three, a smile stretching across his face.
As his eyes fell on Elise, for the short moment that they had, a curious telepathic message was sent to her mind

"You remind me of the Sith of the Rule of Two, hiding to grow power and position, but striking when the most opportune moment presents itself. I wonder if you are worthy of being my master."

Suddenly, however, he quickly roared and shoved Kanes and Zakaths blades with an outward push and immediately dropped to a knee slamming the pommel of his curved hilt to the floor, a shock wave of force erupting from his clenched fist as it met the steel floor.

Whether it was from the power of the force ability, sheer physical strength or a mixture of the two was anyone's guess, but a crater now dug into the floor and the ships bones groaned in protest with an eerie sound.

His left blades tip remained trained on Elise, a foot and a half away from her as his right blade lowered to his side as he rose to stand.

OOC: No big deal.

The Sith Zabrak was cunning, fast and reckless. A trait he could use to his own advantage. so much movement, and the use of such powers would surely take a toll on his stamina. Coming out of the gate too hard cooked ones goose for the later rounds. Zakath raised his palm, deflecting the blast of the energy for the most part. Random debris pelted him in odd directions.

He felt a gash open on his thigh.

But the half plate armor held the rest at bay.

Gritting his teeth he centered himself and turned the palm into a claw, trying to throw the debris back towards the Zabrak.

Then he shuffled in, hips squared and launched a twin flurry. Two from the right, with no real power, but grace and temperament as the Sapphire plasma cut the air with a Thruuuuuummmmmmmmmm.

He made sure not to over commit, retracting back to his guard.

Elise glared back at the Zabrak, keeping a lax but refined duelist stance with her saber in hand, the telepathic message not going unheard, though she did not give much of a reply. She knew not who this man was aligned with, were he came from and whats more was trying to kill her to some extent, in addition his way of fighting raw rage and hate, unrefined, brutal not exactly what she was looking for in a student.

As the large shock wave blasted out from the knights pommel Elise summoned a force shield around her person the tremor of the attack being felt through the ground but other wise leaving herself unharmed. "Hmm you seem angry about something mister Zabark, we wake you up from your nap? or you just like to kill people for giggles"? Her sentence finishing with a quick thrust by her saber, aimed at the Zabrak's chest, pushing herself forwards with the force.

OOC: Been a few days, moving on.

With the Sith Zabrak distracted he spied his opening. He skipped back, deactivated his saber and dashed up the steps. If he was so intent on killing, Zakath had a mind to let him work it out with his fellow Sith. He'd have no more than was absolutely necessary.

The Zabrak had lowered the ward though, which he found rewarding in its own right.

He slipped through the doorway, and around a pillar, casting a glance about the place, between heaves of his chest rising and falling. Initially he guessed this was atrium, and there were several more doors from here. Three to be exact, each with their own strange riddle of runes and glyphs. He was not sure just what they said yet, but he bet it was old Sith'ari.

Maybe a quote from Vader himself?

Leo hadn't slept in days, and it was starting to show...

His pilgrimage had taken him all the way out to this backwards planet, not unlike most outer-rim planets, except funnily enough, this kark-hole wasn't even in the outer-rim. Leo needed to access that ancient building, he'd known what was inside, but what he hadn't expected was that the place would be swarming with forcies. His best guess was that they were here off some old rumor they'd heard in a cantina or among whispers from their fellow acolytes and padowans from whichever fancy force school they attended.

Leo lay on his belly in the sand and observed them from a distance, being sure to mask his force presence just incase any of them were unusually astute. He watched as a group of three, seemingly strangers, approached the door together. Funny, he was reading all sorts of signatures off of them. two of them seemed untrained, inexperienced, but the third... the woman, she seemed different. Leo could taste the faint aura's emanating from them, as if all three were underdeveloped, but Leo had spent long enough around evil force projections to notice that the woman's was off, her small light-side projections was infact a facade. Intertesting.

Leo had no doubt that he would have some troubles taking all three on at once, so he instead decided to wait. With a bit of luck, they'd all get themselves killed before long, and kark, they may even deactivate some of the traps for him.

Before long, they made their way inside, and Leo prepared to make his move...

Elise watched as the younger man with the facial hair departed from the fight, a little cowardly in most but she did not care, the Zabrak Sith was no match for her. He was to savage, powerful, the type that would easily overpower someone if the tried to block or fight back, but almost unless against someone with her speed and skill in form 2, and with no one else to distract her such would be a one sided fight. All Elise needed to do was wait until the Sith screwed up and then deliver a strike to disarm them, after all killing him would just be pointless.

As the duel dragged on she became how would one say, bored, simply raising her hand in a relaxed fashion, sending a powerful force push and lighting storm in the direction of the Zabrak, most likely putting him out cold. Mystery awaited inside and she was not about to let it go to waste on some children, herself quickly slipping the bladed light saber hilt back up her sleeve, making haste into the strange complex after the other man, not caring if the two Sith outside followed or stayed put.

The Tower

Oblivious to the world outside, and impervious to public opinion he moved to the first door and tried to mouth the words. He'd only read brief lessons of Sith'ari in the Archives, but no substantial study.
Which means I'll need some more for this type of Chit.

He pressed his hand to the runes and closed his eyes, asking the force for aid. As if by magic it responded, giving him a bit of mental clarity. Suddenly he was able to recall every letter and word of what he'd read. A handy technique where he bolstered his own long and short term memory, allowing him to access all of it. Though it took considerable focus, and sweat brewed in every pore.

He finally choked the words out, in garbled tongue.

"I will become the most powerful Jedi ever."
Hmm odd how it ended up.

The first door opened, and his concentration broke. Now he faced a Tarrentek.

"Feth."

The Tower

Just beyond the Terrantek he could spy a pillar, with a small object on it. Zakaths heart fluttered, half from dread, half from excitement. Blood thundered in his ears, like the tidal wave of a hurricane as the huge beast screeched and leaped forwards, aiming to spear him with it's many claws. He might have summoned a force technique then, but his memory still enhanced by the force, still recalled that they were quite immune to force attacks.

And consequently lightsabers as well.

Still he raised his hand and let the saber smack his palm. It struck with a meaty sound, ignited with snap-hisssss and he stepped forwards, launching a power cleave, much like a person swinging a base ball bat. It cut deep through the thick layers of flesh, staggering the beast.

And then the beast counterattacked, swiping him with it's paw, drawing blood as it shredded his left arm.

Zakath roared with pain, stepped back, skipped left, crouched, pivoted and launched another brutal blow. With the aid of the force bolstering his sword arm, it rained through the beasts leg like the force of a thousand hammers. The blade became now less a weapon of finesses, but more a blunt tool, in a fight for his very life.

Dread began to prickled through his veins, muddying the waters of the force within him.

He gritted his teeth, slipping towards the Darkside, enticed by the runes and enchantments of Vaders Dead Acolytes.

The Tower

No matter which way he juked and dived the beast was on him. Ferocious claws raked, and he tumbled each time, dodging the wrath of it's scythes. And then at last he found his opening. The roof had a crack in it, which his eyes traced deftly to another crack and another. Where blade could not fell the beast, perhaps guile and crafty thinking could.

He reached up, clawing at the cracks with the force, working some of the stone loose.

The beast swung it's claws again and he rolled once more, blood spurting from the wound in his arm

Oh dear.

He knew he had less than minutes to clamp that wound, or the loss of blood would lead him to shock. He clawed again with his hand, trying to bring the roof down. This time he was rewarded with a sharp CRACK! As stone became undone and began to tumble down.

Alas! Finally a large chunk rained free, and then another and another as multiple floors collapsed. The foundation below his feet began to give way as the floors impacted the room. He scrambled to the edge, desperate to avoid the falling missile sized stones as the Terrantek was pelted to death. The dark-side surged in him, making his stomach turn. He felt his fingers brush as he flattened himself on the wall.

The Holocron....

He snatched it from the pedestal, just as the last of the roof collapsed, and then the walls with it. Deafening roars, thrashing beast, blood, dust in his lungs, coughing and then silence.

A very long Silence.....
