STRENGTHS
- Frontier: The Acharon Class Cruiser serves as an all in one vessel, capable of handing a myriad of tasks and mission assignments that may be given to it and its crew. Capable of engaging enemy vessels in head on engagements, pursuing fast moving small craft, and serving as a carrier or planetary assault ship, the Acharon Class is able to be deployed on almost any front.
- Cloaking Device: Little expense was spared in the creation of the Acharon Class, and the cloaking device on board each vessel is testament to this. The cloaking device allows for the Acharon to approach enemy vessels or planetary bodies in stealth, giving it a chance for its devastating firepower and fighter compliment to be used against enemy forces before they even realize the threat is present.
- Turning: The Acharon Class has limited maneuvering thrusters, and is built almost entirely with forward directional speed in mind. It cannot turn effectively at its maximum combat speeds, preventing the craft from effectively altering its course to avoid threats or hunt down agile targets.
- Cloaking Device: The cloaking device used by the Acharon Class is highly effective at preventing detection, but an adverse effect requires the warship to lower its shields. It must rely exclusively on its armor to protect it should it be discovered using its cloak, exposing the vessel to a world of high risk, high reward warfare.
No one knows exactly where the Acharon Class originated. Only the Worm Emperor, leader of the Sith Order, knows the full details of the vessels origin. Crafted for a singular purpose, the Acharon Class has begun to enter service across the Outer Rim, crewed by servants and droids dedicated to but a single purpose.
