Biography:
Acaadi hadn't quite lived a sheltered existence, but it had been an easy one. His mother made enough money in the city that his father had been able to stay at home and raise him. He was an only child, which most people were able to guess within a few hours of meeting him. Acaadi had always been quick and clever enough that he did not have to work hard. Until his recent growth spurt he had always been well balanced and took to sport easily.
Now he was breezing through most of his academy lessons and was one of the most talented telekentics they had recently trained. Acaadi wasn't arrogant, he just expected to do well. Adversity tended to catch him by surprise. When faced with someone who made him feel quite so small, he started to collapse in on himself.
