Strengths:
Having twenty four rounds of Ammunition gives the wielder quite a long time between reloads if it is spent wisely. Reloading is also quick and easy with the aid of speed reloaders. Because it is mainly created from agrinium, the weapon is very resistant to damage, rating an 7 for lightsabers and similar weapons, and a 9 for blaster fire. The hair trigger mechanism makes it easy for anyone to fire at their own pace, regardless of how fast that is.
Weaknesses:
A side affect to firing the weapon in rapid succession is its tendency to overheat in the barrel. Once it heats up to a certain point, the wielder would have to let it cool down, or risk it becoming inoperable. Because it's made from agrinium, it is also lightweight compared to a normal firearm. While that may prove useful for carrying, it does not help recoil, so the more someone fired it in succession, the more issues they would have with trying to keep the barrel steady and on target. While the nature of the metal keeps it safe from most weapon damage, it can still be damaged by pure force, like being crushed or slammed against the ground for instance. Eventually, one could beat on it enough to make it little more than a very well-designed billy club.
Description: Though he's acquired several new toys as of late, Gherron decided it was high time he created one himself with the idea in mind, "You can't beat homemade cooking." He wanted something to better fit himself, as well as being able to add his own flare to it. So, he got to work on a new pistol, one with speed and firepower to match. He started out with a simple revolver, then decided to triple it by adding two more barrels. Not wanting to spend too much time on a metal as sought after as songsteel, he chose what he saw as the next best thing: agrinium. Using this for the main body, he incorporated basic durasteel for the inner workings of the weapon. Adding a hair trigger gave it the speed he wanted, while incorporating twenty-four slots for individual slugs brought the firepower.
