Lightsaber Resistant - The materials used to produce this vibroblade give it the capability to combat lightsaber wielders.
Energy Projector - Featuring an energy projector system, an energized edge can be produced on the edge of the blade, allowing the weapon to threaten a large swath of protective armors.
Self-Sharpening - The inclusion of a self-sharpening sheath allows the weapon to be minimally maintained between combat situations.
Spider Grip - Enhanced with Dathomir based magic, the Touch of the Kiin'Dray spell etched into the tang provides an unbreakable hold to the wielder.
Empowered - The blade is etched with runes holding the Spell of Power, enabling the wielder to activate it and enhance one of their attributes.
Sound Mind - When holding the blade, the mind is more resistant to the effects of Force-related abilities.

Heat Risk - While Lightsaber resistant, the heat generated by combating such a weapon threatens to overheat the weapon itself, potentially scorching the wielder's hand.
Power Drain - Upping the power generated by the enhanced energy cell will drain the energy cell quicker, leaving you with a lightweight sword.
Sheath Limits - While self-sharpening, the sheath cannot remove damage to the blade.
Hold On - If activated, the user's hand, wrist, arm, or shoulder can be broken by sufficiently violent movements attempting to remove the blade from the user's possession.
Focused Power - While an enhanced attribute is handy, the use of an enhanced attribute without prior training can lead to severe or potentially life threatening exhaustion, similar physical strain, or injury.
Weak Mind - While not touching the blade, or facing a superior Force user, the blade's bolstering of the wielder's mental resistance is useless.

Abrantes Canticle is an elegant vibroblade forged at the convergence of discipline, mysticism, and nobility. Crafted personally by Niki Priddy, the blade was commissioned for a Naboo noble.

The blade core is formed from a rare songsteel–Mandalorian steel alloy, a marriage of resonance and resilience. Songsteel filaments are folded through mandalorian steel-infused layers, allowing the blade to hum faintly when activated. An almost inaudible harmonic that resonates with the wielder’s intent. Unlike conventional vibroblades, its oscillation is not purely mechanical; the vibration subtly shifts in pitch depending on emotional state due to the ritualistic processes used in manufacturing, making the weapon uncannily responsive in skilled hands.

Etched along the blade and tang are twin sigils of power.

The Spell of Power is infused through runic etchings, empowering an attribute of the wielder through intent and focus such as eyesight to better spot trouble at range. Speed when action demands the wielder move deftly. Strength when required to strike through. Though the runes are attuned to channel more than one attribute enhancement at a time, the physical drain on an untrained body would be possibly catastrophic.

The tang holds the Touch of the Kiin’Dray, allowing the wielder to activate the spell and forge an unbreakable hold on the weapon. While handy to remain in control and possession of the blade in risky situations, the drawbacks are weighty. An attempt to disarm the wielder could result in broken bones, loss of limb, or being held in place in certain circumstances. It also potentially removes the use of the hand wielding the blade. Use is advised as cautionary and situational.

The use of an ability by Niki throughout the process has leeched itself into the steel. Required to keep her own abilities in check, Cleanse Mind is present in the weapon; it makes the wielder far more resistant to mind-affecting Force Abilities as a side effect. While not an attribute that was asked for, she did not disclose that the ability was present when delivered to the recipient.

The hilt is Naboo-crafted electrum and polished obsidian, understated yet regal, balanced for formal wear beneath diplomatic attire or field armor alike. No sigils of allegiance are present, by Niki Priddy’s deliberate choice, allowing the blade to exist as both a symbol of office and a private symbol of duty.

When deactivated, Virethyl’s Canticle appears ceremonial. When drawn, it sings softly, a private note between blade and bearer, as an oath bound not to conquest, but to survival, discretion, and quiet duty.
