DESCRIPTION
The Above Ground Modular Trench System is the newest in battlefield solutions for the soldier stuck in the muck. Traditionally extensive trenchworks were a time consuming process, often taking weeks and often months to construct of any semblance of true protection was to be gained - no longer. The AGMTS is as the name states, a trench system that by linking together can form either reinforced structure for troops to hold ground from or even form a cohesive infantry garrison in rapid form. Designed with rapid deployment in mind, these barriers allow for increased deployment capability and survivablity of ground forces that might otherwise be caught out in the open during combat.
Strengths:
- Intent: Develop an above ground trench that provides increased protection for ground troops as well as reducing long term damage of trench warfare on planetary bodies.

DETAILED SPECIAL FEATURES
Modularity:
Each barrier section is interconnectable via an interlocking mechanism built into the module itself. Able to connect to any other module type in the series, this allows for a completely customizable layout whether the objective is to create an exterior wall or a dual wall trench.
[*]
Durasteel Floor Panels Optional
Durasteel grid floor panels in Hex Pattern are an optional addition to this system, able to be attached or detached from the wall panel to suit the situation. These optional add ons allow for a stabilized floor space when the surface below may be muddy or otherwise difficult to traverse.
[*]
Anchoring Mechanism
Mounted on the edges of each wall panel are single use, ballistic driven, telescopic rods. These rods are driven with such force that they are even able to penetrate granite, anchoring the wall wherever it is placed. These devices can be activated by using the small mechanism atop the rod assembly which is mounted on the wall section itself.
[*]
Duranium Rebar Reinforced
Reinforced with longitudinal and vertical duranium rebar, these barriers can withstand jarring physical impacts with little to no damage. Because of the enhanced structural integrity of the barriers, it is capable of withstanding a large amount of damage before the permacrete begins to crumble away from its interior support.
[*]
Reflec Coated
Coated in a layer of Reflec, these barriers provide both a physical barrier and a sensor dead image, assisting in hiding their presence from scanning. This coating reduces the signal return by absorbing signal, significantly reducing the footprint of the barriers on both aerial and ground based scanners.
