STRENGTHS

LIGHTWEIGHT - Easy to carry

ACCURATE - Well balanced with sights

WEAKNESSES

JAMS - It does not happen all the time, but it seems at the worst time, this weapon will jam.

MORE SHOW THAN GO - This is a strong weapon to use in "Burst" and "Auto" fire for those reasons. Not the biggest punch per shot, thus auto fire is most widely used. The power charge system DOES compensate, but only when shooting downrange.

DESCRIPTION

The reliable A280 was highly effective in piercing through armor and provided more power than other blaster rifles at long range. It featured a power charge system and integrated muzzle compensator. The A280-CFE (covert field edition) was a modular version of the A280 that featured a core pistol that could be reconfigured into an assault rifle or sniper rifle. The A2800 is a newer model of this weapon lighter, and more versatile.
