- Pew Pew Stun: The A112-Stun Rifle is perhaps one of the galaxies first long range Stun Rifles. Though other weapons like it exist, most of them are short ranged or lose capacity over distance. The A112 is completely different. The power cell capacitor is kicked up, and instead of sending out stun 'waves', the weapon shot a single powerful stun bolt. This means that the weapon is capable of stunning targets at up to five hundred and fifty meters. The adjustable power setting also means it can stun anything from a Rancor to a Womp Rat without hurting it.
- No Replacements: As one might expect from a weapon made in a singular shop on Mos Eisley, the A112 is incredibly difficult to repair. If the weapon breaks, say by Kaile smashing it against a wall or a Sith slashing a lightsaber into it's side it is highly unlikely that she will be able to fix the weapon. Replacement parts for this blater are nearly impossible to come by, and thus she'll have to return to the DCA shop.
When Kurt Meyer's father ordered his son a Birthday present, Desert Coat Arms was running a special in order to create more revenue. The scheme was fairly simple, order a blaster and you get one for half price.
This might seem like a silly proposal for a shop the size of DCA, but when trying to increase revenue and notoriety within Mos Eisley it was an important thing, after all, it wasn't like DCA is exactly thriving. Kurt's father, being the kind man that he was, immediately decided that he would of course take advantage of the deal. He messaged his son and asked some probing questions about what his roommate would like for a blaster, knowing that his girlfriend was a Jedi and thus didn't have a need for blasters.
Eventually Kurt told his father that a stun blaster would probably be best given Kaile's nature.
This fact was settled in Mr. Meyers mind and thus he went to the good people of DCA with one instruction; "Make a neato stun blaster or something."
It was a request that the people at Desert Coat Arms took very seriously, and after a few weeks of development they eventually created The A112 Stun rifle. The weapon was a magnificent piece of design, sleek, beautiful, and capable of stunning anything up to a rancor at five hundred and fifty meters. Much like everything created by DCA, the A112 is a beautiful piece of design and function, working with little maintenance and requiring only basic knowledge to use.
When both the A112 and Kurt's A13 were finished, Mr. Meyer shipped both of the weapons to Sullust with a simply message that read "Happy Birthday!", with Mr. Meyer simply assuming that Kaile also had a birthday sometime.
Though Kaile works mostly undercover, the A112 is still an incredibly useful weapon to her. She is not a killer, and thus is not generally suited to carrying a regular blaster, but the A112 allows her a bit of protection in situations where some firepower is actually needed.
