A Zeltrochiss & a Zabrak Walk Into a Bar... (Zatten Black)

Kadrak smiled as she felt him toying with her fingers, reaching up with her free hand to gently cup his cheek. "Well, you know what they say. Life wouldn't be nearly as fun without someone - or something - trying to kill you around every corner. And on this lava beach of ours, I can only imagine what sorts of exotic creatures we'll have chasing after us. I only have one objection to that, and it's the fact that it'll probably take considerably less than an hour for something to decide that we look like prey. We do enough of inspiring fights with the sentient beings of the galaxy, after all."
She smiled at his close proximity. "I wouldn't mind that idea in the least, especially since it's with you. Besides, I've always been one for forts..."

I grinned, and hooked the arm I was playing with around my neck, and reached down to put the arm that wasn't stroking Kadrak's back behind her knees. Then, I swung her up into my arms, so her face was still only an inch or two away from mine.

"I think I can arrange that, my dear."

I began walking towards my room, with her legs swinging slightly.

"Like I said, though, I think that the scenery will kill us before the wildlife does."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

A laugh escaped her lips as he easily lifted her into his arms, and Kadrak kissed his cheek with a smile. "We'll just have to be extra careful of the scenery, then, however beautiful it might be. I have no intentions of getting burnt to a crisp by lava, nor being crushed by an avalanche of boulders, or any environmental hazards we might happen on. And neither do I want any of the aforementioned things to happen to you, so extra caution will indeed have to be exercised. Not that I can complain all that much. I've found things are much more enjoyable when you have to keep on your toes constantly."
She kissed him again, on the lips this time. "Spending time in your arms like this is definitely something I could get used to. Though I imagine if you did end up carrying me everywhere, the both of us would get bored quickly. The fights wouldn't be nearly as fun, for one, but they would be far more interesting."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I winked at Kadrak, and put my face near her shoulder, letting my beard drag against her cheek.

"Oh, well, I don't believe I'll be carrying you through Coruscant. But for now, I don't think there's a single reason for me to let go."

I moved my head, and kissed her, smiling as I did so.

"I always wanted a woman who'd keep me on my toes."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak smiled both at his kiss and his previous statements. "On your toes, is it? I intend to make good on that, now that you've brought it into light. Now you'll almost assuredly have to concern yourself with whatever surprises or traps I might have planted. The trick is to figure out when and where that will be. And no using the Force to figure things out ahead of time, that just takes the fun out of things. And you do know how I love my traps. They won't be anything too dangerous, if at all. I reserve the explosives for very special cases. It isn't that you're not special, but I don't think dynamite is the best for what I have in mind."
She smiled again. "You'd be right in saying that. And if there were any viable reasons I'd gladly reject them anyhow. It just so happens that I quite enjoy being carried and held by you."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I grinned, and nudged against Kadrak with my chin.

"I think, m'lady, that we're at my room."

I walked over to the bed, and sat down, with her still on my lap, and in my arms.

"Promises of traps and tricks only make me hold on tighter, my dear."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak glanced around his room with a slow nod and a smile. "Not too bad of a place at all. I can definitely see us spending some time here on the way to the Core, not to mention on the way to Coruscant. Although my wanting a little bit of a tour of the rest of this ship of yours still stands. And you never did tell me if you've named this fine vessel or not. If you need help thinking up something I might have a few ideas. But I think you're plenty creative enough to have thought of something right off."
She grinned and stretched her head up to kiss his cheek. "You won't find me complaining. Now I'll just have to think up things even more extensive, if these tricks will get you to hold me more. You're a man after my own heart. Especially since you seem to enjoy the idea of tinkering with technology just as much as I do, not to mention the bits of trouble we'll certainly get into once we reach our destination."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I smiled, and slid Kadrak closer to my chest, with her arms still around my neck.

"I think you should have a hand in helping me name my dear home. My brother tried to convince me to name it after a My Little Ropo character..."

I nodded slowly, still smiling, and I reached one hand to stroke the nearest of her horns.

"All you have to do is ask to be held... Or maybe not even ask. Does the idea of a morning surprise attack appeal to you?"

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak laughed quietly and shrugged. "Well, you never know how good of a name that could be. I've never found myself with time to devote to watching it, but if you're a fan..." She winked. "In all seriousness, however, Pioneer sounds nice to me, or perhaps Pathfinder. Maybe even Alacrity, though it doesn't have the same ring to it as the other two. I have to assume this brother of yours might want to have some input, unless he's of the mind to choose a My Little Ropo character again. Even if he does have a convincing sales pitch..."
She smiled and reached up to cup his cheek. "The idea of such doesn't sound like a bad idea, depending on who's doing the surprising. Or maybe not even that. I can't object when it's you doing the sneaking, but I might get a bit more creative in my endeavors."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I grinned, and pulled Kadrak closer, until her head was on my chest.

"Alacrity would work... she's pretty fast for a corvette. I had something along the lines of Neon Berserker. Guess what that is supposed to describe."

I stroked the side of her leg, and leaned my head on hers again.

"You just signed the release form, darlin'. Now, neither of us can complain about any sleep deprivation or various other forms of fun-induced problems we cause each other."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak rolled her eyes and grinned, kissing him for a long moment. "I wouldn't have any idea as to what that's supposed to refer to. Because I'm definitely unfamiliar with any kind of innuendos or anything of the sort." She shrugged and trailed her hand down his back, similar to what he'd done to her earlier. "Neon Berserker isn't a bad name either. Like I said, it is up to you. This is your ship, after all, unless I've missed something in all of this. And just as fantastic as her owner."
She laughed again and kissed the corner of his mouth this time. "Sleep deprivation can be easily remedied by spending a day here just sleeping and being with each other. And when you say 'fun-induced', I'm not getting any bad vibes from whatever issues might be caused. So all I can say is that I look forward to any and all of it."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I grinned back, and shrugged.

"It wasn't as much of an innuendo as you think."

I kissed Kadrak on the mouth, and smiled as she stroked my back.

"But I can't deny that I'd deprive us both of sleep just to have the excuse to lie here with you. Or just hold you like I am now."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak smiled and remained silent for a moment, simply enjoying being near him. "Just lying here, talking about nothing and being held by you doesn't sound like a bad way to spend the entire flight, or any amount of time. Besides, our talks usually turn to either planning another fight or two, or coming up with schematics for this or that piece of technology. And maybe a modification here and there, but I'm not one to talk about those things too openly in public. I've never bothered to check how friendly the major authorities are these days with a few of them, and I'm not of a mind to ask. Illegal is illegal, but if it gets the job done..." She shrugged.
"Not an innuendo, now, that doesn't sound like you at all. You might have to explain." She returned his kiss with one of her own, pulling back with a smile. "Maybe I've been reading too far into things, but I seem to recall that you're quite fond of an innuendo once in awhile."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I shook my head, smiling at how close Kadrak was.

"Now, you wound me, beautiful. I am the berserker. But I can show you why later."

I winked, and played with her fingers again.

"I'm a card-carrying Silver Jedi... They're not gonna stop me... And if they do, old Bloodtooth can give a good persuasive argument."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak smiled and again and kissed his cheek. "I think I may have learned a bit of why you gained that nickname tonight, with those few meetings with our friends. But I have a feeling that, although you might be referring to your prowess in a fight, you were suggesting something just a bit different. Not that I would have an idea of how anything the sort works. I am purely innocent, you know." She rolled her eyes with another smile. "Depending on exactly what your definition of innocent is." With a wink she kissed him again, this time on the lips.
As he mentioned the Silver Jedi she thought back to what knowledge she had on the ranks of Force users that inhabited the galaxy. "Let me think...the Silver Jedi branched off of the Republic's Order at some point, but I can quite recall when. They don't have very good relations with them either, from little spats to a few less than diplomatic discussions. I can see you fitting in there."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I smiled back, and held Kadrak for a little bit.

"I'm not innocent by any sense of the word..."

I rubbed my chin across her shoulder, and my smile grew wider.

"I'm the one they call when they need Bloodtooth's voice more than mine. But I enjoy bewildering people with my conversation, too. Even when I'm going to kill them."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

"So Bloodtooth is what you call it. I was beginning to wonder. What kind of metal, or metals, is it made out of, exactly? I would wager cortosis or something akin to it, if you're planning on fighting anyone who wields a lightsaber anytime soon. Nothing standard, if I know you at all. You don't seem to be the sort that would just use your average, everyday durasteel." Kadrak smiled. "Confusion is always fun. Doubly so when people don't even attempt to understand what you may have been trying to get across. But it's always a plus when you manage to get under their skin just right. That's when the fun begins."
With a small grin she cupped his cheek again, gently running her thumb over his lower lip. "More luck for me then, because I'm not either. Unless you happen to have connections that I'm unaware of in the law enforcement business that don't have orders to arrest you in sight, in which case, I definitely don't partake in any illegal modifying of any weapons or technology. Not at all."

[member="Zatten Black"]

My eyes widened into the picture of an innocent-looking pink-skinned man.

"I don't see anything illegal. Nothing that's illegal on Zygerria, anyway."

I ruined the effect as I grinned and kissed Kadrak on the lips.

"And nothing is illegal on Zygerria. Most of the reason why I built my factories there."

As she traced her finger over my lip, I jokingly nibbled at it, grinning even wider.

"Sadly, my trusty Bloodtooth is nothing more than alchemized metal. He doesn't fall to pieces when confronted with a lightsaber, but it's not like I can use him against Jedi over and over without repairs."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Making a mental note to refresh her information on Zygerria Kadrak grinned and kissed him on the lips. "Nothing, really? You might have to elaborate on that sometime. That, and tell me a few stories that I'm sure you have about any time you've spent there. Because if we managed to get into as much trouble as we did on a nearly lawless world like Nar Shaddaa, I can only imagine what havoc we'd wreak on a truly and completely lawless world. Of course, it might be hard to do much of that with nothing exactly being illegal, but I'm sure you'd find a way all your own. That does seem to be your speciality." As he nibbled at her finger she smiled and pressed a kiss to his cheek. "The innocent look suits you, but sadly it's not all that believable. But that might be because I know better.
Alchemized metal is still different than your vanilla durasteel, and much more interesting than just weaving it in with different metals. It requires something more than just a bit different forging. I've never really gotten into alchemy, so that might be another thing you'll have to explain a bit more."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I smiled, and slid backwards onto the bed a bit, just to make a bit more room so I could sit next to Kadrak instead of having her half-on, half-off. Of course, I grabbed her and set her practically on my lap once again, but whatever.

"You have no idea of the scope of havoc I had to create to build there. At least the people in the nearby cities like me. But I've never been bored there, that's for sure."

I kissed her back, letting my hands fall to her back again. Then I winked, and smiled again.

"Alchemy is like... cyborging, only for weirder purposes. Mostly, it's just enhancing natural qualities of an object, but Sithspawn are a great example of a darker usage of it."
