A Zeltrochiss & a Zabrak Walk Into a Bar... (Zatten Black)

"I don't have a problem with either approach, though I wouldn't mind a bit of sightseeing on our way to the spaceport. I haven't really ever had a chance to explore Nar Shaddaa, beyond the usual trips to a cantina or two and the regular bar fights. I guess I should say that I've not seen much beyond what most people would consider the underworld. I've only been in the more respectable areas a few times." Kadrak scooted a bit closer before kissing him as well. "So I suppose the answer to that question is that I wouldn't mind a bit of walking around, no."
She grinned and sat up just a bit. "And you were right about that blanket of yours being comfortable. Definitely not a bad setup, all things considered. A lot more private than a hotel room, and less people to worry about. Besides, I get to spend time just with you, so..." She winked.

I grinned, and winked back.

"I do believe I could stay here for the rest of the day, if you stayed with me, but you might want to see the rest of Nar Shaddaa. There's a reason it's my favorite place."

I jokingly ruffled the blanket, and laughed.

"We could bring the blanket with us, if you'd like. It's a hardy old thing."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak smiled and pulled the blanket up over her shoulders with a quiet laugh. "And get to watch the confused stares of what tourists there might be out and about? I don't see a reason not to. But I do have a thing about having my blaster on me at all times, in the off chance that something does happen. A little target practice never hurt anyone besides. Except for maybe the person you happen to be shooting at at the time."
She shrugged, snuggling closer to him. "I wouldn't mind spending the entire day here, with you, but a bit of walking around together doesn't sound bad either. We'd still get to be together, after all. And perhaps get into a spot of trouble before flying off to Coruscant to get in a whole lot more. Maybe we'll run into a few friends of ours from last night, too. That would top it all off."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I winked at Kadrak, and grinned coyly.

"So... Where on you is the blaster, now?"

I reached down to where her hand was.

"We could go see all the wonderful Hutt casinos. You'd never run out of things to shoot at, I bet."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

"In hindsight, I should have seen that one coming. But since you asked so nicely..." Kadrak gave his hand a gentle squeeze, reaching up with her free hand to pull her blaster out from under the pillow, spinning it around a finger with a grin. "My apologies for spoiling things. I'll make sure to let you take a few guesses first, just to make things interesting. And I can only imagine what your first guess would be. The answer is already no, for now and future references." She winked.
"All of them, hm? We might be here for a bit longer than you thought, if we decide to do that. Though it is true I'd always have something to shoot, I was under the impression that we wanted to get offplanet a bit sooner. Not that I don't enjoy drinking with you, and a fight or two."

[member="Zatten Black"]

"Of course, we can go wreak havoc on Coruscant first, and then come back. I think we will, eventually, be coming back here. I do rather like that bar, after all."

I grinned, and tapped my fingers against the back of Kadrak's hand.

"You know, I have a feeling you'd guess wherever I'd think of, and hide the gun somewhere else just to tease me. Not that I'd mind, too much."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak grinned and stowed the blaster back under the pillow once more. "Hmm, well, there's a chance I might do something of the sort. I would let you win once or twice, though. It's no fun if your guesses are always wrong, and besides, I wouldn't want to discourage you. Too much." She leaned forward to kiss his cheek. "I can't give all of my secrets away, anyhow. Then things are never any fun."
She propped herself up on an elbow. "Raising hell on Coruscant sounds like a plan to me. I don't mind heading off there first and then returning. And like you said, we'll most likely be returning here anyway. There's no point in having all the fun in one day. Or days, I suppose. But before we go run off, I suppose we should get ready to face the day."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I smirked a little, and held Kadrak's hand against my face for a bit.

"The only reason I don't want to 'get ready' is because we'd have to get out from under the blanket. And put our clothes back on. I'm slightly opposed to those two actions, at the moment."

I jokingly pulled up the blanket farther up over us.

"Can't say watching you shoot things isn't an exciting prospect, though."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak smiled and gently stroked his cheek with her thumb as he held her hand there. "Nothing says that we have to get out from under the blanket, necessarily. A little bit of maneuvering would solve that problem. I'm afraid we'll have to eventually put our clothes back on, though. Public nudity is, unfortunately, frowned upon on most planets and in most societies. I wouldn't be against spending the entire day in our little blanket fort of sorts, though. Where it's nice and warm, and I get to be with you all day..." She grinned.
"You'll get plenty of time to do that in the future, if things go well. I don't consider it a complete night unless one of us gets at least a bit of target practice in. Otherwise things are just a waste of time, you know." She stuck her tongue out at him.

[member="Zatten Black"]

I stuck my tongue back out at Kadrak, and grinned.

"I guess, we could simply relocate ourselves to my ship, and continue this on the flight to the Core. Might be a bit more comfortable if we were in an actual bed."

I held onto her hand, as it stroked my face, and smiled again.

"We can even have another little blanket fort, if that appeals to you. It's awful cold onboard, after all."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak smiled and nodded. "It's settled, then. Unfortunately, we will have to get dressed, but it isn't too bad of a deal if we're just going to continue on with this blanket fort idea fairly soon. Especially since we'll have to cuddle extra close due to that ship of yours being so cold. Wouldn't want anyone catching cold, now would we? That would just ruin the entire trip." She laughed quietly and wormed her way out from under the blanket, beginning to pull her clothes back on.
"Blanket forts always appeal to me. But only if it's with you." She knelt to retrieve her blaster, sliding it into its holster and leaning down to kiss him, on the lips this time. "Now it's your turn, I'm afraid."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I groaned jokingly, and put about half my clothes back on, covering my torso with just my gigantic cape. Then, I pulled KAdrak to me and kissed her back. The cloak sort of closed around us both, as I held onto her for a few moments.

"Well, you get to see what this fine machine can do. Possibly, I should actually let go of you, and sit down and drive. Might be conducive to actually getting there, and making our next blanket fort."

I leaned my head down on Kadrak's... Very romantically spiking myself on her horns. Whatever. It wasn't like it actually drew blood.

"I think we're gonna have a lot of fun. The two of us might not be unstoppable, but I think we're damn near close."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak leaned into the kiss for a long moment, simply watching him for a few short seconds with a smile on her face. "It might help just a bit, you know, but I'd be lying if I said I minded a few delays along the way. Besides, you look absolutely perfect as you are right now." She winked and moved to crouch next to him, taking his hand in hers and gently tugging on it to get him to stand, glancing around the walker for a moment.
"We might have to do a bit of interior decorating as well, as long as you aren't opposed to the idea. Make it more of our own. Or we could just build a permanent blanket for in the corner and call it good. Whichever you think suits the space more. And, of course, all of the tech modifications money can buy, as long as you're fine with it."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I smiled at the thought of 'decorating' the walker.

"You mean the paint job isn't gaudy enough? I thought the blanket would be enough modification for two. There's also a perfectly serviceable roof that we could've extended over us, but I have a feeling that we were both rather happily occupied with more important things."

My grin turned crooked, and I thought about what my ship would look like with actual furniture and stuff in it.

"You can decorate the ship to your heart's content, though. Force knows it needs some furniture, at least. Outside of my room, it's completely empty, almost."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak laughed slightly and glanced around the walker for a moment. "I don't think the paint job is too bad, actually. And now that you mention it, I do remember something about a roof, but I think you're correct in saying that we were a bit preoccupied at the time. Besides, I'd take sleeping under the stars to having a roof over my head any day. It feels a lot more free, I think, when you can see the open sky when you look up. And I get to share the view with you, as well. That's always a nice added bonus."
She tilted her head and imagined just what his ship looked like for a moment, conjuring a few images of what she guessed his room to resemble. "I'm not an interior decorator by any means, mind you. But we certainly can give it our best shot. And then we can surprise everyone with our decorating skills, too. If we don't shock them enough right off the bat, that is."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I grinned, and looked up at the sky jokingly.

"It would be nice to stargaze together. But I think we're on the wrong planet for that. All the stars here are neon, it seems."

I could tell what Kadrak was thinking even without the Force. I put my forehead against hers, and smiled again.

"You'll see soon enough. Where else would we make our fine cloth fortress?"

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak smiled and kissed the tip of his nose from her new vantage with their foreheads resting together. "True enough. Neon stars aren't nearly as pretty to look at, but they hold some fun experiences if you know where to look. We might have to head to Iridonia eventually after Coruscant. The terrain isn't as nice, but I think you'd like the canyons. There are a few rainforests as well, but those are a little less common. Regardless, lots of places for stargazing and exploring. And if you're one for casinos and cantinas, there's the capital city. Not that I'm trying to entice you to come, or anything." She grinned.
"Where else, indeed? We'll have to outdo ourselves, this time. It just wouldn't be customary otherwise. You'll have to excuse my curiosity. It's not every day someone is happy to let me tinker with their things, even if I do promise to put them together again nicely afterwards." She smiled again.

[member="Zatten Black"]

I kept a totally straight face, still keeping my forehead touching Kadrak's.

"Oh, I said 'where else' because I have almost no other furniture on the whole ship. The only rooms that have anything my room, the cockpit, and the kitchen."

Now I smiled, and kissed her back on the nose.

"Of course I'd like to see Iridonia. And you're not the only reason, either. It's supposed to be fabulously beautiful."

[member="Kadrak Jalaan"]

Kadrak flashed a smile. "That just leaves us more room to build these forts of ours. So far I'm not seeing a downside. But if you really want I suppose we could managed to find some furniture somewhere. And then we could paint a few of the rooms, if you wanted. Whichever sounds more fun." She shrugged and sat back on her heels. "I'm not opposed to the fort building idea, myself. That just means we can make a fortress that spans rooms, provided we have enough blankets. Then we'd have people asking about that."
She took his hands in hers and tugged gently as if to pull him to his feet. "It isn't that I don't enjoy just talking and spending time with you, because I do, but it's no fun just talking about our plans and never doing anything with them. Besides, I don't know about you, but I'm not inclined to spend time in leisure. Much."

[member="Zatten Black"]

I shrugged, and smiled slightly.

"I do take some downtime, but never an overly long stretch. If I haven't been threatened, insulted, or inexplicably attacked by the end of the day, I am usually quite surprised, and a little put out."

I thought of the idea of half my ship being covered in blankets, and laughed.

"Blankets everywhere. That sounds like an interesting idea."
