A Wolf Among Us [Mandos vs First Order/Death Watch]

Atin Vendet covered his sector, and there was slight surprise when his adversary chose to engage. While he was prepared for this eventuality, [member="Kango Fett"] came out with both barrels. The Enemy warrior went skyward, and the smartlink scope helped to prepare some shots to be sent into the man's flight trajectory. The Westar M-5 smartlinked spat EMP and Plasma forward into the darkness of space, illuminating his toothy gaze with an ambient blue.

Kango Fett returned fire, several of the rounds finding their mark, and forcing the man to move backwards, in order to keep the rounds from puncturing his gear in the lightly armored places of his legs. This position was no longer to his advantage, and bits of slagged metal began to form from the durasteel hit with the scorching plasma, cooling and solidifying as vapor trails mockingly around his legs. He had not expected, although very well should have expected, the rocket. The man unlocked his maglocks, jetting to the side and down the narrow ledge, to be UNDER the upwards 'V' shaped blast of most explosives. The rocket soared into the hull, sending fragments of ship into space (Hull breach in unknown section [member="Kyr'tsad"] ) and kicking him through space with the force of the blast, as bits of the hull were sent careening outwards. Of course, his enemy had planned for this eventuality, nailing him in a tackle through the debris field of the explosion and through the hull of the ship, as he had his breath knocked out of him.
The mandalorian knew his best chance was at this range, and upon his brief recovery, would pull the vibroknife from its holster, and while pinned, >attempt< to hamstring his foe by cramming the blade into the man's lower joint for his foot. If Kango fett was hit by this, the resulting muscle spasm or hit of pain would allow Atin to perhaps kick upwards to gain space in between his enemy and himself. He would need to get out of this engagement, and fast. His enemy had far superior and heavier armor than himself, and exposure to hard vaccume wouldn't be well for the man's health. In all likelihood, even if his knife DID strike, the self sealing suit of his enemy would prevent that problem. >IF< able to get to his feet, he'd open fire in the direction of the man's chest, as he stepped back through the hallway to disengage.

[Comm/Encrypted] "Deezee! Charges Placed? We've got our objective. Keep the false Mandalorians from the bridge."

A dozen friendly IFFs went down, several hallways away, in which first order and kyr'tsad should have met up. What the hell was happening? No time to worry about that. A more pressing threat was ahead of him.

Davon let Samotin lower himself down into the freighter first. There hadn't been any signs of action in this section of the ship, to his knowledge, and the twenty year old was better at dealing with the sudden disorientation of moving between AG fields than him.

Sam was one of his great grandchildren, one of eight at last count. As Davon landed on the deck, he paused. He mumbled a series of names to himself. Nine, none at last count. He'd forgotten Abffor who must have been seven by now.

The family line, even if none of them were genetic relations, would have been much larger if two of his children hadn't died in battle before having children. Those chaotic times following the recession of the Gulag Plague had been trying. Which was why he and Stahl had been content to adopt their five children. There had been so many orphans as the hyperlanes opened up and wars started as various factions rushed to take the galaxy's resources.

"Wait," Davon whispered into his comm. "Footsteps?"

"It's a vacuum ba'buir," Sam replied in a condescending tone.

Davon lowered onto his haunches - a difficult task in its own right at his age. He placed his fingertips on the deck, feeling the constant beat which could well be footsteps.

"Remind me to speak to your father about your education."

Marcus approached the final cell with as much caution as he had the others, but he was sorely unprepared for the beast that appeared from within the small containment unit. His beam of light flashed upon a creature that was seemingly humanoid, but with a grotesque facial deformity that was masked partially by a sheet of metal. The beam continued to travel around the form of the creature, and for a few moments Marcus doubted that it still held life. His hopes were shattered, however, as the beam reached the extremely muscled hand that was pulling way fingers from a long dead corpse. They came off methodically, much like the man was picking petals off of a rose. The simple motion was only complimented by the horror that was felt as the head slowly turned on his beam of revealing luminescence.

Sithspit...

Marcus felt a heavy pit in his stomach as the mutated warrior revealed his true height. He was huge to say the least, and the revealing of the several tubes leading into the armor only left a sort of confused dread. He could only assume that the tubes connected adrenal stimulants throughout his grotesque form and directly into his bloodstream. Quite the war machine indeed. Though the sources of fear would not end there, and soon his light shone of the surface of something large and metallic. It was indeed the mace. The black durasteel surface glinted in the light and multiple jutting shards of metal obtruded from the business end of the armament.

Marcus gripped his own weapon tightly and raised it to meet the mutated face of the creature. His finger gripped the trigger and he was poised to let loose a burst of fire from his rifle, but it would be in vain. The seemingly cumbersome creature suddenly raised itself with great determination and was suddenly barrelling through the air at a breakneck pace. More importantly, the mace was on a clear path with his chest. Marcus did what little he could, he ducked. He felt the vibration of a large impact just above his head, he now leaped further back into the hallway. There was the mace, and from the looks of things it had torn the metal from the threshhold out into a mangled deformation. The beast now withdrew its weapon, and advanced once more. With the new opportunity to fire, Marcus brought up the weapon and held down the trigger with near equal ferocity. Several flashes of blue light would indicate the weapon's discharge, and he only hoped that the blaster would cut the poor marauding bastard to pieces.

My first blow had filtered down and struck oil, in a metaphoric way, but before I could follow up my attack, fate had decided to send me distractions in the form of two heavily armoured Mando warriors. I never faced one, less two, before but I was well versed in how they fought. I love Mandos! My peripheral vision caught my prey squirming away, but as all good hunters know, patience is key.

I stood up, calling my second hilt to my hand, igniting it just as my gloved fingers touched it. I've been working on igniting my blades through the Force, but this was no place to get fancy. Yet. I dropped my ignited tools to my side, hearing the orgasmic sound of their tips biting into the metal neck of the floor, while my eyes tracked my two new opponents.

"Well, you two caused me a chance at love at first sight," I chimed snapping my neck to the left. "So I guess you will be my warm up. Don't want my lover to think I'm inexperienced."

Now I'm still trying to squash the bugs of my combat skills, but one thing I can boast with pride is my ability to dissect a situation to suit my desires. My two opponents began moving toward me, electing to use vibro-blades, or something like that, instead of opening fire upon me. This tactic led me to believe that they have dealt with lightsaber wielders before. Gulp!

I spun my blades, then in a flash of awesomeness I shot one blade through the air toward one of my foes through the Force. To my surprise, one blocked the flying death tool, and the other, poor sap, turned his head to watch his partner try to be more awesome than me. In the split second it took Mando number two to turn his head to watch his partner, I struck with such focus that I felt his death in the Force when my heated blade pierced the flesh of his neck, where his helmet and, phrik or cortois armor, had a small gap. Mando one, not so easily fascinated by well-crafter handiwork, charged toward me.

I'm tall, but I'm not overly muscular. My opponent, well, he was the opposite. His blows continued to drive me back, while my lover began to grow further from me. "Enough," I bellowed catching his blade on my blade, putting all my existence into keeping it tightly entwined. As I said, I dissect situations and my mind is always at least one step ahead of me. I leaned my masked face inches closer to his, or her, beautifully crafted helmet and whispered, "I think you forgot about my other lightsaber."

Mando number one stepped back, spinning to his left in hopes to repeal my flying blade, while I called back my blade to his right. Now being fancy, I ignited the blade with my mind, catching it with my outstretched left hand, and swung it down low, hamstringing him. With a cold, psychotic mind's eye, I swept my right blade upward, severing him in two. "Hmm? I half suspected your armour to be lightsaber proof."

"Oh little red riding hood," I mocked through the tunnel she had disappeared into, "The big bad wolf is coming for your goodies!"

While he was flying he had taken afew shots from his enemy. A shot punctured his side armor and another hit his chest melting some of the armor, but it didn't mater to him. He was set on one thing and one thing only, taking out his enemy. Raising his mechno arm he shielded himself from as much debris as possible. He fired his pack and dove straight at the man. It was a great risk to go through the debris but it was the one thing that his enemy would never expect. A 4" piece of shattered hull lodged itself in his meaty right shoulder.

Yelling in pain and combat fueled rage he slammed into his enemy. They went through the new hull breach and slammed into the deck. The force of his speed and the ships internal gravity system made his ram even more effective. The man may have a broken rib or two. If nothing else he was gona be dazed form the impact for a little while.

His enemy wasn't the only who took injury from the impact. Kango had busted his right knee hard on the deck and his last two fingers on his mechno hand were bent out of shape a bit. He also had that bit of shrapnel in his collarbone. Blood was slowly floating from the wound but his suit had sealed the hole with the shrapnel sticking out and still in him.

Both him and his enemy had hit the deck hard. His systems weren't working properly. His night vision and comms were working but the display was a bit funky. Some of the readings and information text only read "--//....\\--" or "ERROR" messages. He had trained for such an event, ignoring the feeds, and focused on the fight.

His enemy had taken the brute of landing and they ended up in a head atop one another. Using the precious time he had, while his enemy was reeling from the impact, he mounted his enemy in a top mount fighting position. He sat on the mans stomach and trapped the mans legs under his feet. He grabbed the mans throat, his mechno arm applying a huge amount of pressure but a loose grip do to the broken fingers. He was intent to choke the man out while he still had the upper hand.

It seemed the Death Watch mandalorian had detected their arrival two. Both sounds rounded a corner in the corridor thinking they were ambushing the other.

Two men in black, grey and blue. Both with rifles aimed in their direction. Davon had left his concussion rifle behind. It wasn't the best weapon for use in a confined space at the best of times, let alone with no atmosphere to carry a concussion blast. Fortunately his mare's leg was electromagnetically fired. Black powder needed oxygen to fired.

He charged forward, his heavy beskar plates taking three blaster bolts in quick succession. He fired, cocked the lever and fired again. He'd hoped one of the pellets might have pierced the softer fabric between his opponent's plates and breached his suit. A drop to vacuum was only a change of one atmosphere. That wasn't enough for explosive decompression but it would render anyone unconscious in a few moments and kill shortly after.

Not slowing, Davon used all his bulk in a shoulder charge. The mandalorian was sent sprawling, whilst Sam engaged the other in close combat. Davon decided to follow suit. It was a shame his opponent couldn't hear the menacing sound of his beskad sliding free of its sheath. He held the wickedly curved blade towards the death watch member and waited for him to get back to his feet.

There was a time and a place for everything. As such, it was my time. Mine, and mine alone. While there may be no Mand'alor, I would work for the Council who stood in their place. I would fight for them, only because they needed me to. They needed someone to call on, and I happened to be there. They would have my sword as their own. As such, I pulled the Warden cloak around me a little tighter as I walked out into seeing this battle that raged the entire hangar. Sure, some were looting ships, and gear, Me? I was here to stop the FO from looting, so my comrades could take it. Sure, some of the people here would be likely used to combat with a lightsaber or a blaster, I still drew my hilt from my belt.

The lightsaber, marked with the initials of JN next to DS, I just couldn't remember why this was there, either way, the lightsaber was likely used for someone who was taller than me. The blade extended in its brilliant blue glow. I swung the laser sword experimental as I walked forward. Sauntering through the Hangar bay, I could see a man running towards one of the Mandos, Sending a force push towards the man, he flew backward, and cracked his body against the wall. The Mandalorian looked at me surprised when I had to save him again as a blaster was being fired. Using absorption, I absorbed the blaster bolt to give me back some energy that I had used for the force push, and then sent my lightsaber flying across the room to impale him.

The saber came back to me as the man nodded his head, knowing that we were on the same side. Sure, I may not be dressed in armor, but I was still working with the Mando'ade.

Two bright sparks were suddenly extinguished in her mind as her fellow vode fell to his blade. She felt them die. And for a moment, the sensation froze her where she stood. She knew it well, having first experienced it during her time with the pirates out of Syvris. It wasn't a sensation she enjoyed, either. But, she knew it was just a fact of life when the majority of one's life was spent in combat situations - as many Mandalorians were wont to do. Especially these days.

She frowned, and crouched in the dimly lit corridor, the wash of emergency lights casting her shadow in crazy patters across the bulkheads behind her. A cautious hand drifted down to rest on the deckplates for a moment as she tried to get a sense of where her adversary might be. She knew he wasn't far behind. And though she couldn't hear his words due to the vacuum, she caught the sense of them in the Force. And well, body language could say volumes a bout a person and what they were thinking.

The vibrations in the decking were closing fast on her position. With a grunt that was muffled by her armor, Mirshko pushed to her feet again. Her progress was slow and cautious as she moved forward and away from the hangar in a crouch, holding the Beskad and the DInu'ul in front of herself. But, she knew he wasn't far behind. When she'd put several yards of distance between herself and the hangar, she crouched in the shadows cast by the emergency light. And she waited.

Kango tightened his grip on his opponents throat. It wasn't enough pressure to break or kill the man but enough to knock him out. His enemy punched him in the face and he in response pulled up the man and slam his head into him, head butting the man. He felt his nose twist sideways breaking it once again. If that wasn't enough the man reached up and began pulling on the shrapnel in his shoulder. In a heated rage he slammed the man down and kept doing this until the man stopped moving.

He slammed the man down another time before regaining control of himself and checked to be sure the man was still ok. He was alive but probably hurting and going to be out for a while. He wasn't going to kill the man. The soldier was a madalorian and he believed that the man could turn from his traitorous ways.

Kango quickly shook down his enemy and removed all his pouches and weapons. It wasn't a thorough job but he didn't care. He put everything in a pile nearby and slapped on a set of cuffbands that he laced through a pipe. Making sure the warrior was ok he got up, grabbed his rifle and double timed it to the medbay. On the way there he patched himself up and reloaded his rocket and rifle.
