A Whole New... Galaxy?

Amaryllis watched the cloud roll over the crisp, warm sun. The sound of birds, animals, and the like made the jungle bustle, even if all Amara wanted was a small nap. A little bit of time to sleep away her rather tasty lunch. Which had left her feeling cozy, nappy, and sleepy.

She stretched her body out over the moss that covered the top of the ever breaking down... Metal thing. She had begun to worry about how much longer her little home would last her - a few more years, perhaps? More worryingly, how would she move? Unsure of how to build another home, especially one that was as sturdy as this.

But maybe she wouldn't have to worry about it much longer. A long, yawn. Her tail curled above her, in the shape of a spiral as it folded back out - seemingly stretching along with her.

Amber eyes dashed about with every noise, sound, or change in the lighting. She wasn't worried, no, but found herself curious for whatever it may be. Perhaps there would be something new! Something exciting! After all, things weren't always like this... Right?

Jungle planets were about as much fun as the young man expected it to be. Bugs, moist heat, and creatures that would see him dead and in their stomachs if they had the chance. He's already had to fight several of such creatures as he went through. But it didn't stop Kahlil. The young man had an eager grin on his face even as he chopped at the vines blocking his way. Exploring was always something fun to the Jedi.

Grant it, it came as a surprise when he stumbled upon something that wasn't at all jungle. Machine, covered in vines and growth. It had been here for a while, rusting and being reclaimed by nature. It was a curious sight, and one he had every intention of investigating. From where he was, he had to lift a few rocks, so he raised a hand and slowly did just that, lifting the boulders with the Force to toss aside, unaware of who was within.

Amaryllis took another stretch as she finally slinked down a small hole, into the confines of the ship where her variety of clay pots, trinkets, and other decorations laid. As her tail curled up, she took a moment to grab her hunting knife. The jungle didn't rest - and if she wanted to rest, she'd have to get to work on prepping for the next few meals.

But as she crawled back out, she heard something unusual - a twig broke, near her little home. Amber eyes widened as she smacked onto the moss and vines, her skin immediately shifting to the green, rusted, and other colors of the ship. Only a brown, loose leather top and skirt remained visible as she crawled on hands and knees.

Of course, while someone who may not all that paying attention may not notice her, her outline could likely be noticed. But what caught her eye was much more intriguing. Looking in a somewhat familiar form to her long ago deceased mother, a two legged person appeared. She crumpled her nose, her eyes even wider in excitement - which clearly threw off her ability to stay camouflaged, with the colors fading between the spots around her and the natural color.

How was she to react to someone? And how was he throwing rocks around without touching them? Her eyes dashed between the rocks, him, and how he walked. Could he talk? He definitely wasn't like any of the other animals around here...

Kahlil eventually moved the rocks out of the way as needed, and took in a breath. It was oddly exhausting moving so many of those sort of rocks. He hadn't even noticed the extra pair of eyes watching him go about his work, and nothing in the Force seemed to alert him to it. With his own entrance into the broken down ship he ducked in, curious of what there might be to salvage.

The fresh pots, trinkets, and other decorations gave him pause.

These weren't left over from the crash. They were new. Fresh. This was someones home. It was then the tall man began looking around, his brown eyes scanning curiously for who'm ever might of lived here. And then he saw [member="Amaryllis Tansea"] . He blinked slowly. A wild child? Certainly no species he'd ever heard of. But she was humanoid? He slowly raised a hand, trying to be non threatening as possible.

"Uh.. Hey."

Amaryllis gave a slight frown at the creature. It had taken her a long time to get that hole patched up. In what felt like just minutes, he already had a hole into her little home. She scowled ever lightly. She'd have to find a way to put all those heavy rocks back. And she hadn't seen any big creatures around that she could enlist in help.

Still on all fours, her skin flashing different colors due to her inability to concentrate, she paused as he paused - almost synchronized. It seemed he realized his error! Perhaps she could ask him to put her rocks back.

Her amber, cat like eyes stared piercingly into his eyes. Realizing he was on two legs, she returned to a two foot posture, her head turning slightly as she watched the [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] with interest. He said... Hey.

A brow perked, confused by the movement of his hand. "Hi," she said, somewhat roughly. "You are fellow two legger," she said with a soft, graceful if even rough, and broken basic. "From... Where?" She inquired, careful to not move - it would be bad to spook him. Like an animal. Right? But, at least her basic was still there - if even buried a bit due to its very infrequent usage.

"Um, offworld? Kashyyyk. I'm a Jedi. How long have you been here..?" The fact she was walking on all fours immediately made the young man assume there was something more.. Feral about [member="Amaryllis Tansea"] . But at least she spoke. A broken basic. He let out a sigh as he glanced around the small room, running a hand through his head. "You uh.. Live here I'm guessing? I can fix the hole if you want." He didn't really wait for an answer as he stepped out past her, nodding to the rocks.

"Or no. Whatever works."

Offworld? Was he from the stars, like she? Standing as tall as she could on her two feet, she wasn't quite sure what a... Ka-sheet? Was. It definitely wasn't around her, which only confirmed her theory about his origins. He really wasn't from around her. She crossed her arms, long tail twitching as she fixated on him. "Um... 10? Cycles... Seasons!"

She practically jumped back as [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] began to walk past her, back outside. Her eyes were wide, unsure if fear or curiosity should take over. She felt like two leggers, at least other two leggers, were not very kind people.

Once she realized what he had asked, she gave a small nod. "Fix. Please," she asked. "Me.. I?" She crumpled her nose as she tried to think, the flower growing on her head shaking lightly. "Will take I... Long, time." She knew there was more, correct way, but she couldn't pull it together.

"Why... Are here?" She asked a moment later, as she waited for him to fix her hole.

"Cycles huh. That's a.. Long time. A very long time. Alone?" He glanced briefly to [member="Amaryllis Tansea"] as he lifted both of his hands to the rocks he had grabbed earlier. Within a moment they were lifted and brought back to their proper location, settling back into their grooves. He let out a sigh shortly after, glancing down to the ship again before turning back to Amaryllis.

"Traveling to know the Galaxy better. I'm Kahlil. Is there anyone you want me to get for you? Any place you'd like to go? I can take you off world again." Even with her broken common Kahlil could understand what she meant. For now at least. He hoped she could understand him in return.

Amaryllis shrugged lightly. Was it long? She was little when she found herself thrusted into the wilds of Akiva. Amaryllis gave a quick, small nod. Alone. She hadn't interacted with another sentient since her mother passed, during the crash. And while she managed to find friends in the wildlife, none could really hold a conversation.

"No other two legs, only friends in jungle." She licked her lips as she tried to think about how to better communicate with the strange, very tall, and white haired man. She stayed back from though - careful to not get too close. Although, out of curiosity with how white his hair was, she creeped forward until she was an arm reach's distance from him.

"Galaxy? What is?" She tilted her head. She understood travel. Was that what this forest was actually called? "You're Kahlil." She then pointed to herself, "This one Amaryllis," she said quietly as her ears picked up loud sounds from animals in the distance.

She didn't understand his questions. "W.. What?" She blinked, crossing her arms. Her tail curled and unfolded in rhythm. Anyone to get? Any place she'd want to go? Offworld? Maybe he was hungry! In a quick motion, she grabbed a delicious looking fruit from one of her woven baskets and offered it to him as it laid in both of her hands.

"Go for... Fruit?"

Thiavi was one of the passengers aboard kahlil's ship, a more recent addition to the crew, and thus hadn't settled in as well. One of the side effects of being out of the loop was being out of the current sleep schedules, if that was even a thing here. She'd slept in today, And by the time she'd awoken, The ship had landed and kahlil was already gone.
She sits up for about half a second and then slumps back against her bed. a moment later *Smack* something metalic slaps the wall above her bunk.
Thiavi nearly jumps, shooting up and hitting her head against the wall. with a low pained growl she gives a sharp glance to whoever, or whatever had done it.

"Good morning ma'am, I remembered to be your alarm, just as you asked" Her red KX series security droid stated happily.

"ughh.. Not quite as I asked, but we can work on that" she says rubbing her head. anyone that had heard her voice knew of that odd accent, which even thiavi herself couldn't place. It was an odd mixture of krownest and concordian dialects mixed with a multitude of languages she had learned, resulting in an accent that was harsh and biting, with heavily rolled Rs. An odd contrast with her usually soft voice.

"Ah, I see" her droid says in a defeated tone. thiavi just shakes her head, a bemused smile spreading across her face.

"Hey, k3. Where's kahlil at?" "Somewhere in the jungle? I wasn't paying attention"

Thiavi slips out of bed, dressed in her undrsuit and and impact vest as usual, yes, even asleep she has some form of armor on. After a few minutes of strapping on armour and checking gear later, and a quick ration bar cause we all know this girl needs to eat more, thiavi was up and ready to go.

After exiting the ship, thiavi trudges into the woods in search of kahlil. Thiavi wasn't exactly a master tracker, but she had two things going for her: she knew the basics, and kahlil wasn't exactly hiding. It didn't take long to catch the trail of prints and broken twigs, humming her favorite song through the woods. and within minutes she'd arrived near the crashed ship, being able to see his snow white hair through the brush

"Hey!" she calls out, shoving her way through branches and leaves "You looking for anything spec-" it was right about then that'd left the woodline and caught sight of the odd creature near him, tailed and in many colours. It was strange, but oddly calming to look at. But, thiavi's nature was not trusting, no matter what was in front of her.

"the hell is that?" she says, resting one hand on her belt betwix her heavy blaster pistol.

[member="Amaryllis Tansea"][member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"She," Before Kahlil could even respond to [member="Amaryllis Tansea"] his shipmate [member="Thiavi"] had found him. Even if he wasn't trying to hide where he was going, he was impressed with the Mandalorians ability to track. It was good that he had picked her up for his crew. He gave both woman a kind smile, holding out his hands as if to diffuse the situation before it could get any more tense.

"Is Amaryllis. She was stranded here ten cycles ago. I was just offering to help her find her family and get off world." His eyes flicked down to the heavy blaster Thiavi sported, unspoken words saying to let it go, before he turned back to the odd chameleon woman. "I wouldn't mind having some fruit, if that's okay still."

Amaryllis eye's widened as she glanced towards the crunch of branches and leaves. Another two legger had entered her area, seemingly in search of the hungry [member="Kahlil Zambrano"]. As her eyes caught sight of what the woman called her - "the hell is that" and likewise saw a hand on a blaster, it recalled a memory.

"Amara, if you ever see a blaster. Run. Ain't no point in surrendin', they'll just shoot ya dead anyway. What happened to your daddy, mhm," her mother had pointed out to her right after they had gotten away from, well, Amara didn't remember much about what happened. Just that it did happen, and that's what she was told to do.

Kahlil seemed calm, although Amaryllis had already sprung into action with what could only be described as a hiss, her skin immediately shading back to match her surroundings. And she completely missed hearing whatever it was the nice two legger had said. She dropped the fruit and bolted into her home, as she forced a variety of underbrush to grow in front of the door rapidly.

The other two legger was not friendly. Safe inside her little spot, she pressed her back against the wooden door. She couldn't leave her home, right? Running could only take her so far. She sighed in disappointment, fear, and anguish. What was she to do?

"Feth that thing's fast"

Thiavi moves her hand away from the blaster. "You mean that's not some kind of- it moved so fast, but now that she thought about it, it did have many near human features. "Have you ever seen anything like it?" Looking down, she spots the discarded fruit. "Is it- she, is she.. friendly?"

Thiavi showing fashionably late as usual it seems, always causing problems she does. what was her name again?

"Hey! uh, am-amaryllis? It's okay" She calls out towards the, rock, pile, ship, thingy.. Then she takes a few steps closer towards amaryllis' makeshift shelter, getting up near the entrance and peering in from outside "I come in peace?" she chuckles. now she needed some kind of peace offering. Her fruit had been discarded and tossed into the dirt, so a replacement maybe? She looks down at her ration bar with a single bite taken out of it. that'd have to do.
She breaks it in half and puts the rest in her pocket. Now, what would be considered non aggressive to something like this? Wolves laid down, what if she sits?

Thiavi Sits down in a meditative position, one hand on her knee and the other holding out the halved ration bar, which was supposedly fruit flavored, it wasn't much but it's the thought that counts. right?..

[member="Amaryllis Tansea"] [member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

"From what I've seen, yeah. She's friendly." Kahlil let out a sigh as he brushed his hand through his hair. [member="Amaryllis Tansea"] seemed immediately scared of blasters, so she wasn't completely new to the galaxy. Not that he was sure what to do now. [member="Thiavi"] at least seemed to have a good idea about what do to next. He took a seat beside the Mandalorian, offering another shrug.

"Come on out Amaryllis. We're friends."

Amaryllis breathed heavily as she held her back against the wooden door. What was she thinking, allowing some random two legger run about her home? And now there was two! Two two leggers! Which was cool because they were kinda like her, but... Dangerous. Like the jungle animals.

But then she heard... [member="Thiavi"] mention something about peace. And then [member="Kahlil Zambrano"] mentioned... Friends? Well, if they were friends why did she almost get shot! "Bl... Red shooty not friendly," she yelled back.

But despite her better judgement, she opened the door somewhat and moved the vines so she could see them through a small opening. The woman held something in her hand. It was intriguing looking while Kahlil just seemed to be there for whatever happened.

She quickly grabbed another fruit and threw it at them. "Food, go now. No more hungry for you, bye." Maybe they'd just leave and she could resume her hermit life and hopefully not get killed.

She sat down. she called for peace. she offered food. what did she get? Fruit to the face..err, helmet. Yeah, sounds about right..

"Alright.." she puts the ration bar back in her pocket, and wipes the fruit off her visor, slowly standing.

"I

she begins pulling something from her utility belt

Worked ages on this paint job..

She flings the fruity remains aside

And Now-

She produces a small can of spray paint, holding it high into the air

I Will paint your tiny house! with all the fury and style of krownest!"

What followed was a made dash to every inch of the crashed ship's exterior, metal, vine and rock alike were suddenly swallowed in a storm of pinks, dark blues, greens and a hint of orange. Not one inch of this ship's metalic shell would remain unpainted by god.

And that's how everyone found out that thiavi painted whenever she was angry. Don't even ask what K3 did to be painted.

[member="Amaryllis Tansea"][member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

Kahlil had raised a hand, readying himself to stop the fruit midair and hopefully diffuse the situation before it got any more tense. It was his one focus. Or would of been. He got distracted when [member="Amaryllis Tansea"] rushed back in. He wanted to at least show her they weren't enemies. And in that moment of forgetfulness, he heard the dull thud of fruit on helmet. Worriedly he glanced to [member="Thiavi"] , and well.

She was furious.

He reached up to stop her, fearful of just how mad the Mandalorian might be, but stopped once he noted the spray can.

And he laughed. An honest laugh he hadn't done for a while. The tall man just watched and laughed, unable to keep it down. A mandalorian spray painting from anger? It was so.. Random. Crazy random. He couldn't help but die of laughter as he watched.

Amaryllis stared through her tiny hole as she watched neither of them catch the fruit. Why did they not catch it? Could they not see well? Inquistivity returned to her eyes as she squinted at the two two leggers. Maybe they weren't as hungry as she assumed! But still, the woman two legger was scary.

Until she painted her house. Amaryllis jumped back as some of the paint went through her peep hole. The smell freaked her out, and she scurried out the hatch at the top. Although, tripping over her own tail as she tumbled down onto the ground in front of them, with paint now on her.

Her eyes widened at all the different colors. Especially the pinks and orange. "So pretty!" She exclaimed after a moment, before squinting at [member="Thiavi"] and [member="Kahlil Zambrano"]. "Painter? Very pretty! Smells very, very bad," she confirmed as she held her hand over her nose as she stepped away from her little wrecked ship. Glancing to the laughing Kahlil, she perked a brow as she came closer to the two leggers. "Friendly?"

Thiavi's art was... chaotic, to say the least. When she paints angry, it results in long, blobby streaks, as opposed to her more refined patterns and imagery.

"Yeah.. It's pretty.. and It smells." she says, staring at the settling cloud of multicolored paint. "I'll paint you too if you throw fruit at me again" turning back, she finally gets a good look at [member="Amaryllis Tansea"], cocking her head to one side, giving her a quick look over. the tail was certainly.. different.

"You know.. You're don't look half bad yourself" It was true though, she had so many colours, from an artistic standpoint, it was quite something. "alright, Friendly it is, just no more food fights okay?"

That's a reasonable condition for the truce, right? She stops throwing stuff at her, and she won't colour bomb her house again.

[member="Amaryllis Tansea"] [member="Kahlil Zambrano"]

Kahlil's laughter only continued as [member="Amaryllis Tansea"] slid a streak through [member="Thiavi"] 's art and got covered herself. He couldn't help it, it was too funny. He just leaned forward and pressed his forehead to the ground, holding his stomach to try and keep himself together from the laughter that erupted from him. Eventually it died down, in time for him to catch the tail end of the girls conversation.

At least they were working on being friends.

He sat back up, wiping a tear from his eye as he glanced between the pair. "I'm uh.. Glad you two are getting along. We are friendly. And I am curious, Amary. Do you want to leave this world?" Right back on topic. He gave the woman a kind smile, hoping she understood the question this time around.
