All the words that parted Reina's lips were lost to the winds and the ambiance of the night, Ayra did little to pay attention to them. She cared very little about the concern shared by the Ersanyr, though being fussed over was always enjoyable to the Echani. But as she floated in the water, watching the moon caress Reina's face, it faded into the background.
A thumb brushed delicately across her features, dragging the wet strands of white hair away from where they blinded her. And as the irritation only grew more for Reina, boldness took the chest of the Echani. As the thumb finished tucking the wet strands behind her ear, Ayra decided to seize the moment.
Feth it.
The arms that had wrapped around Reina's shoulders quickly pulled back as her hands fell to the girl's cheeks and pulled her into a kiss, pressing Reina's lips into hers. The heat in her chest only grew as she tasted the girl's lip, her first kiss with another woman. She hadn't expected, nor even craved it, but something about tonight felt right.
The way she felt comforted in Reina's arms and how they shared with one another. Her looks didn't hurt either, as the gluttony for the mermaid continued. A hand made it's way to the back of Reina's head as she kissed her once again, softly massaging her head.
After a lengthened moment, their lips parted, a strand of red hair still clinging to the Echani's lips before she brushed it aside.
"Sorry, I uh..." There was little excuse the Echani could offer, she had done it because she wanted to. "I'm sorry, I should have asked first."
Even as she spoke though, her body moved on its own. Her hands fell from the Ersanyr's face, one against the small of the mermaid's back to pin them together, and another finding a space significantly lower.
