Callidus could not remember the name of the honor guard she had left in charge of the Dark Sepulcher. There had been a dozen of them or so, each handpicked to protect the most cherished prize Callidus had claimed in her life. She had known their names at one point. She had talked with them, laughed with them, perhaps even, in her own way, cared about a few of them. Such were the way of things at time in this mortal existence.

"Why can't I remember your name..." Callidus mused to the still dripping skull in her hand. The man's screams still echoed in the entry hall of the Dark Sepulcher, joining the cries of those already jostling around inside her head. The man had tried to greet her at the entrance of the Sepulcher, but a pull in her mind has seen Callidus electrocute the man in an instant. The others had followed in short order, though they had all died by her blade. The first man, still moaning in pain, had not seen the knife that plunged into his neck, or felt the butchers work begin as Callidus claimed her prize.

"You must not have been very important, or perhaps you were just a bit dumb," Callidus stated, dropping the skull on the ground as she turned back to the entrance of the Sepulcher. With the guards disposed of she could turn her attention to the real reason she had come back to Denab.

"Clean yourselves up boys, we have company coming..."

The expedition had been annoying to get involved in. Rumors of a dark place where Sith relics had been seen caught just the right ears for a group to form, but such darkness only brought two different groups. Those of the Dark seeking such treasures for themselves, or those of the Light seeking to contain or destroy.

The Taosin amulet he carried was the only reason he could join a group of the later. It was a careful balancing act, guising as a young scholar wanting to learn the wrongs of the Sith while still being capable of whatever this site might hold in store for trespassers. In the end the Jedi Knight Loran decided to take him along regardless. Possibly in a hopes to bring Firrerreo into the Order.

He was a foolish human, but the Acolyte did his best to curb such insults behind a veiled smile. He couldn't defeat the Jedi, nor the group that he had formed. One of them was still suspicious of Firrerreo, the damn Zabrak was constantly glaring his way whenever there was a calm moment, but he did his best to ignore it. Whatever power within would give him the strength he'd need to deal with them, or they'd be consumed by that very darkness.

Either way worked for him.

"You all know the routine. Stay close, keep your eyes open, but be warry that what you might see isn't what's real." Loran spoke up as the group stood before the cliffside. Tethers were made, climbing gear distributed. Firrerreo strapped himself in before peering over the edge.

"Long way down, isn't it?" Loran was the one speaking again, smiling as warm as ever. Hopeful, trusting. Firrerreo smiled in turn his fake as can be smile.

"Seems so. We'll just have to be safe, right?"

"That's right. I'll be heading down first to make sure the landing's safe. Stick with the others, you'll see me in a moment."

Firrerreo nodded before watching him leap off. Typical Jedi, no hesitantion to leap into the maw. His smile faded back to the cold neutral before he glanced to the group. Mercenaries with morals was the best description he had for them.

"Shall we follow Jedi Loran, then?"

Silence followed, but they didn't argue. Soon enough they were on their way down into the waiting darkness.
