Kasha Crystal and the Pontite Lens, to items for calming tempers. More importantly, the Cerean based crystal would give way to calm, helping Hazel Zanteres to clear her mind. Stay focused and keep her cool even in the tensest of combat situations. Mishel designed the blade this way because it was this cool, even temperament that gave the young Ren the stability she needed while on Monastery during her physical rehabilitation.
Strengths:
[+] Calming: With the Kasha crystal built as the primary, this lightsaber helps to give the wielder a clear mind, added to this the Pontite lens to boost the calming aura.
[+] Faster: Added to the blade, a Rubat crystal making it a finer, and faster blade enabling the wielder to attack more quickly with it. Fencing emitter allows for more effective parrying.
[-] Slugs: Does nothing to deflect or stop slugs.
[-] Materials: Cannot cut through alchemized materials, or materials made to withstand lightsabers.
After Skor, Mishel began the process of crafting lightsabers for special people in her life. The first was the Dervish Dancer that she created for her master, and the next was a lightsaber she called “a Valkyrie’s Calm.” The young craftsman created the lightsaber for the woman who brought her back from death. And so she set about organising the parts that she would need. Taking her focus basket she pulled through various focusing crystals and found a rubat crystal, and then she set it aside.
Grabbing her other crystal basket she dug until she found the familiar circular shape of the Kasha crystal from Cerea. Blade emitter channels, shroud, stabilizing ring, cycling field energizers and the typical components of a lightsaber were easy enough for her to build but as she worked on it. Mishel realized she wanted the color of the blade to be copper and that the rubat gave no color and the Kasha was too much of a pure yellow for her tastes. In essence, she wanted a white or silver core but that wouldn’t happen without changing the actual lightsaber crystal.
It took some thinking and tweaking with her test bed components until she figured out that within the primary crystal mount she could slide a filter. The filter would have to be durable enough to withstand the heat and energy of the lightsaber’s power. This meant changing the mount, and thus she took the lightsaber apart and fused a working filter to adjust the colour. Then when it was done, she installed a cell recognised and carefully placed the blade into a carpet lined, wooden box and sat it beside the box she crafted to hold her master’s lightsaber.
