Private A Vacation To Slugs

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Something was oh so very very wrong. They were deep into hyperspace and Kitty had involuntarily shifted into her large feline form. Pretty standard stuff. What wasn't standard was she wasn't in a mindless rage. She still had complete control of herself. The hyperspace sickness was still very bothersome. Maybe it was delayed. Kitty waited a few hours but nothing.

"Aren't you supposed to be attacking the bars like they insulted the fluffiness of your fur?" Twilight asked. The large dragon had been incredibly unsuccessful in her journey of discovery. The other sentients of this world had little interest in taking her seriously. So she's decided to return to Kitty and accompany her on her travels. The deformed little Felacatian led a very active life style that brought the dragon much amusement.

"Yea I don't understand what's going on? This has never happened before, ever. Just to be safe though I'll stay in here until we exit hyperspace. I don't want to wreck the ship and kill us all." Kitty explained confused herself.

"Oh no worries I'd shove you back in you cute little Kitty." Twilight teased sticking her tongue out at the caged assassin.

The duo were currently traveling through hyperspace to where a cruise ship was going to be taking off soon. A vacation ship that travels around to various star systems and galactic anomalies as well as endless amenities on the ship itself. It was an M-Class Luxury Liner and Kitty accepted a job to provide security inside it. She didn't normally accept these kinds of jobs but the pay was considerable. She was more than willing to watch over a bunch of spoiled brats for the amount of credits they were offering upon the end of the vacation voyage without incident.

With much time spent alone in her cage with little else to do but attempt meditating Kitty did just that. Or did her best anyway. The hyperspace sickness was a very effective distraction. Inspite of this she made some progress in looking within herself to see if something had changed and indeed something had, the last thing she expected. She could feel six life forms within her womb. She was pregnant. Kitty collapsed on the ship floor with the weight of this news. Her mind jumped to Ak the shape shifter she'd had sex with some months past. But how that was extremely unlikely. The chances of getting pregnant when you weren't in heat were insanely low. She was going to be a mother. That was unimaginable. She wasn't prepared for this. She had things to do and raising six kids on her own! No this couldn't be true. She could kill them. Using her mastery of the force power art of the small she could kill them right now. And that would be that, no abrupt disruption to her life. That felt so immensely wrong though. They were her children, her innocent unborn offspring. Maybe this was an appropriate time in her life for this of thing.

Kitty waited for hours after exiting hyperspace to return to her bipedal form hours and hours. But nothing. Was this a side effect of being pregnant? Six babies were a lot perhaps her body forced her in this form to handle them all. In which case this was going to make her contract very difficult. They weren't going to let a giant feline and even more huge dragon walk around an expensive cruise ship on their own.

"Kitty can we go already? I don't think you're changing any time soon." Twilight complained.

"Yea I just need to make some arrangements or else I'm going to be treated much like you are." Kitty replied.

Twilight blew out a plume of smoke from her nostrils as a result. Irritated with the discrimination she receives.

Kitty called for her pilot droid. "I need you to send a simple job request for someone to pose as our owner as trained guard pets. They will get a quarter of the cut we were promised for the job completion. One Kalic Daws accepted the job request in a timely manner thankfully. Kitty met the man on the starport that was docked with the luxury liner they were to be boarding soon. "Once we're in and past security just follow me. I'll do the work of actually keeping the peace while you keep anyone from thinking myself or Twilight is going to eat them. The fact I can talk does little to ease people's fears but if you're always next to us people will simply be impressed with you. Hope you're prepared for a lot of attention." Kitty briefed him.

A man in mandalorian armor would meet them at the entrance to the ship. "I heard you've taken Kitty's place as head of security advisor."

"Actually that would be me. I'm just having complications with my Felacatian heritage. But I assure you myself and my dragon friend will keep your guests very safe. Though I wasn't aware I was going to be head of security?"

"Yes, we figured a sith assassin for hire wouldn't be too interested in a supervising position. We heard you had a habit of accepting high credit jobs though and simply had to look for your name. Are you really an infamous sith assassin of old?"

"So you tricked me." Kitty said before channeling the dark side of the force lifting the mando off his feet and slowly constricting his throat. "Listen up I was promised those credits for a simple security role I will not be taking on a management position and I will not be advised by your staff and I will be paid the full price I was promised one way or another." Kitty said threateningly before releasing the guy who fell to the ground gasping for breath. "Yes, sir." He weased "Ma'am" Kitty corrected stepping on him causing the air he'd just taken in to forcefully escape his lungs. As they passed Twilight stuck her tongue out at the man. She didn't actually know much about what was going on but it was clear Kitty didn't like him and found their interaction very amusing.

The ship would take off with all passengers loaded and Kitty would make her rounds over the ship searching it with her eyes, ears, nose, and force.

Ak Veh'rum exited his room and made his way to the dining area. The Gurlanin was aboard an M-Class Luxury Liner. He taken a job to sabotage the ship. How, when, it didn't matter as long as it was done before the cruise ended. Causalities were acceptable, almost encouraged. Basically, his employer wanted the owner of the luxury liner to lose everything. Since he had until the cruise ended, Ak intended to enjoy himself for a bit before getting down to business.

The form the Gurlanin chose to take today was a Selkath. Though he didn't think there would be any Force-users on board, he cloaked himself anyway, an ability innate to his species, making himself undetectable. As he made his way through the boarding area, he contemplated a name for this disguise. It wasn't likely he'd do much conversing today, but it would be good to have the simple things worked out now. Why did he leave Manaan? Easy, he wanted to find a distant relative and inform them of some goings on back home, catch up with them since they hadn't seen each other in a while.

Ak passed by a view port. He stopped for a moment to look out at the empty space and distant stars. A thought he had been suppressing surfaced: Kitty. It had been four and a half months since Ak left Felacat. For the first two, his time spent there could have been a dream. With the third, the dream turned into reality and kept rearing its head at the most irritatingly worst possible times. By the fourth month, the Gurlanin gave up and accepted what he didn't want to. Shaking his head, the false Selkath kept walking. Then he heard a voice he couldn't have possibly been hearing. And that smell... Kitty? Ak looked around and saw the Felacatian... in her rage form! Wait, she wasn't raging? Well.. not in the traditional sense; she was choking a Mandalorian. And then Ak saw Twilight. She was here, too? What were the odds? He needed to find a droid real quick and ask them.

Suddenly, the Gurlanin was glad he had chosen to assume there could be a Force-user on board and hide his presence. But he also kinda wanted to walk up to Kitty and Twilight and... and what? He hadn't exactly left them on good terms. He just took his credits and left without a word. Ak shook his head again. So what? That was how he was. Ak decided not to make himself known for now. First, he needed to find out if Kitty and Twilight's presence here would interfere with his job. He also needed to find out who that was with them. He had seen and smelled the being before, back on Dathomir, but because of the urgency involving Twilight, Ak hadn't had a chance to talk to him. Ak really wanted to track down a droid now and find out what the odds were. His stomach rumbled to remind him that food was just a bit more important at the moment. He continued on his initial path to the dining area.

Kalic looked nervously at the cruise liner. His droid, Jee, knocked him on the shoulder, letting out some astromech whistling before Kalic answered her. "I'll be ok. Just... bad memories." She whistled again. "Yes I'm sure!" No he wasn't. He really wasn't. He was terrified right now. Getting on a ship he had no control over. It was.... Was that a large cat? A large cat that now spoke to him. This was the person who.... Ah. A Felacatian. But why was she still a cat? Now the job actually made sense. His little droid chuckled a little before he sighed.

"Ok. So no bringing my T-21? An attention. Right. I can handle that as long as the eye wrap stays. Others tend to freak out without it." He would then see the power of the person he was working with. She.... How didn't he see it? He could see things like that! Once they walked in, he would stay quiet, trying to shake the nervousness off his face.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Kitty made note of every area that would make a good sniping position including spots only an armature would use. She also made note of low traffic areas where everyone was likely to visit such as some of the cross sections near the bathrooms. Normally she'd take it easy as these kinds of jobs things rarely ever happened but there was no way they would be paying her this much if the didn't think something was going to happen. The ship made it's way to the entrance of the hyper lane and entered hyperspace. Kitty was thankful she didn't have to worry about raging or this would be much more difficult. Kitty also noted there seemed to be a lot of security. There wasn't anyone that notable on the ship was there? She had checked the ship manifest and didn't see anything worthy of this much security. And were they all hired mercenaries. There wasn't much synergy between their weapons and uniforms.

Kitty got the answers she was looking for the moment they entered hyperspace. All those hired security guards started pointing their guns at everyone and shouting orders. They got to work tying everyone up. Kitty waited patiently as the thugs approached them with caution looking to tie Kalic up.

Twilight thought this was a most unusual ritual. She didn't get the hint this wasn't normal until she picked up on Kitty's body language. She was tense and on alert but not snarling or showing her fangs. She was trying to lure them into a false sense of security. Twilight did would she could to play along and seem as non-threatening as possible.

Kitty's improve plans didn't get to blossom as one of the hired mercenary supposed security thugs pulled out a semi automatic tranquilizer gun and shot her once with it. Welp it was now or never. Kitty roared and jumped at the guy. As she was mid pounce the guy gave out a not so manly scream and pulled that trigger as fast as he could sending lot of tranquilizer darts into Kitty. Kitty sunk her teeth into the guy nearly snapping him in half before she quickly or tried to quickly turn to the next guy. Her vision was getting hazy and focusing was quickly become a chore. She took what she thought was a sure step towards the next one, only for her leg to give out and she unceremoniously slumped to the floor. She roared again in frustration but in reality it sounded more like a tired yawn.

The moment Kitty went into action Twilight did as well preforming a similar pounce on one of the mercs who were behind them. She did cleave him in half with a simple swipe of her claws. She waited to roar till after her victim was spewing out like red paint water balloon. A few of the mercs fired at Twilight who roared again this time enraged at the pain they inflicted. Her scales were unbroken but it still hurt! "No wait! Namekuji will want it alive. Don't shoot!" Someone who must be in charge shouted. However someone to stricken by panic and the instinct to live fired again anyway. Hissing in pain Twilight was about to pounce them next but the boss guy shot them dead before Twilight could get to them. Twilight made sure not to target the one who didn't want her shot and instead went after the next one giving him the same treatment as her first victim. A few of the mercs that had tranquilizers shot at Twilight with everything they had but the flying needles bounced harmlessly off her scales. These people weren't too bright were they. "Switch your blasters to stun you fools!" In the time it took him to say that Twilight had already taken out two more. She was starting to get the hang of this. Hanging around Kitty was fun well up until they started shooting her with their stun gun, rifle, things. She didn't understand how their guns were now shooting something else but it sent a painful sting through her whole body and she made sure to let them know it with yet another roar. This roar seemed to have the desired effect those as half the mercs around her started fleeing at full speed. That's more like it. Twilight thought. More and more stun blasts and the assault on her nerves made it difficult to continue her own assault. She got one more it started to be too much and she fell over herself convulsing on the ground and shortly later she blacked out.

Kitty came to still feeling incredibly tired. It took her a full 5 minuets to take in her surroundings. She was in a cage, great. It's been a long time since she didn't want to be in a cage, felt pretty weird. She bet they didn't know a Felacatian in this form could shred durasteel with ease. She pitifully batted at the bars with no success. There was absolutely no power behind her swing. It seemed she'd have to wait to get her strength back. Next to her was Twilight not in a cage. Sitting down and looking at her. How come Twilight got special treatment? Oh, Kitty looked around at the charred bodies scattered about and the cage that just looked like mangled metal. Guess they didn't know she could spit fire. They seemed to be isolated in a cargo hold. No Kalic to be seen or anyone for that matter. It took Kitty another 5 mins to realize. "You going to help me out or just watch." Kitty asked in annoyed and slurred speech. "I was enjoying the view very much. You are much more cute as a sleepy Kitty. If I could operation those things I'd put you to sleep again to watch it all over."

Twilight freed her from the cage but ultimately Kitty decided to hang tight and wait till she was at full strength again. Her drug aidled mind kept struggling to go over what in the exploding sun was happening.

The Selkath did go to the dining area. He got some roasted fish, some Jawa juice, and enjoyed his meal quietly by himself. By the time he had finished, the liner had made the jump to hyperspace. And then it began. "It" was the real reason Ak was here.

The Gurlanin heard the panicked screams of passengers, the barking of orders from the armed mercenaries. He smelled blood and quite a bit of it. That might have messed with his natural instincts if he weren't focused on his task. He made his way to where all the commotion was and looked around. Groups of passengers were being kept in place at gunpoint; some of the stupid mercs were dragging their stupider comrades' bodies away; and Kitty and Twilight were being taken away along with that guy who had been with them. Ak looked for the woman in charge and waved her down. "Good work. But next time make sure your men are clear on what they're supposed to be doing and how. It'll be hard to complete our mission if we lose too many to stupidity. This next part should be easy enough, though. Round up all of the passengers, bind them, and lock them in the cargo holds. If anyone tries to be a hero, shoot them..." Ak paused for a moment then added, "But don't harm any children or expecting women."

The human woman scoffed. "You're taking all the fun out of this, you know. And how am I supposed to know if a woman is expecting if she isn't far enough along to show it, and whether she's telling the truth if that's the case?"

"You can still kill the men, if they do anything." Ak responded before changing his form. No longer a Selkath, he appeared to be a Kubaz. He left the company of the mercenaries and made his way to one of the areas that were going to be swept. By the time the mercs got there, he had transformed again, this time into a Dug. He let himself be captured along with a group of passengers. By chance, as they were being led to the cargo hold, some brave souls decided to rebel. Four female and two male passengers armed with whatever they could find to use, attacked the four mercs escorting Ak's group. In the commotion that followed, Ak was able to transform a fourth time; it was pretty easy to get out of binders when you were as small as, say, a womprat. He hopped off around a corner where he'd have privacy and managed to--yep you guessed it--transform. He felt like going Twi'lek this time. He picked up the blaster rifle that one of the mercs had dropped and helped to quell the rebellion... by killing three of the rebels.

Ak led the way to the cargo hold that was being used for the passengers and shoved his group in. After giving new orders to the mercs, he continued on to the room where Kitty and Twilight were being held. The room wasn't being guarded because the two were tranqed and in cages... Oh. Well, they were. Ak was a little surprised when he walked in the room to find the charred remains of the mercs that had brought Kitty and Twilight here, and that both were now cage free. He closed the door behind him, not that anyone would be coming in here anytime soon, and looked at the Felacatian. The Gurlanin put the rifle down and donned his Togorian form.
"Hello Twilight... Kitty. It's been a while."

Kalic shuttered a little as he looked around. He really didn't like not being in control of a ship. He looked at Jee, sighing a little. "See him?" The droid shook her head dome, which just got a sigh from the Miraluka. Of course. Bad intel. "Well, at least the credits are good." He was about to say something else when everything went to poodoo. The merc quickly avoided being tied, punching them out and trying to pull them away into the hall. He groaned a bit, eyeing his astromech.

"Take the job you said. It'll be easy and we could see Barlo you said." He pulled off there helmet, quickly sliding it on. Jee just let out an unhappy whistle as her friend finished suiting up, and took the guard's weapon. "Now to find the boss." He then went out, looking for some "guard" to ask where the "beasts" were taken.
