A Treasure In The Past

Location: Foothills on Tirahnn
It wasn't every day she was able to go on some cool adventure. In fact, she rarely expected she would be one hunting for some type of hidden treasure inside some abandoned ruins of a city or castle or whatever. Truth be told, she never even expected to visit Tirahnn. But, that changed when she received the message from [member="Abigail Meredydd"]. Something about going into some recently discovered ruins of some city, fort thing. Beth wasn't all that sure, but immediately agreed.

Abigail had only recently came into her life - the daughter of Alexandra, one of Yasha's lovers. Naturally, Beth and her had met during a little family gathering on Westralis and really kicked it off. They had agreed to show each other different experiences, ranging from how to use a bow to a shopping spree. Either way, this sounded much cooler. With some previous planning, they had agreed to meet up at these coordinates. The out of the way, heavy forested area made it particularly hard to land any type of ship, so they had to choose a spot that was a bit of a walk away from the ruins. They might could use a speeder bike or something to help get them there faster.

Either way, Beth stood outside her own ship in her beskar'gam, pistol holstered, and a fairly large backpack with supplies. And enough room to drop some items in, of course. She had made extra sure her buy'ce would record so they would have the entire situation filmed and photographed for... Any journal Abigail might want to publish at. Or whatever archaeologists did after they found their stuff. Alongside, it had an extra bright light so there would be plenty of light if they ended up in a dark spot. Depending on what they found, they may have items to take back. From there, she just had to wait for Abigail to arrive. With a sigh, she leaned back against her ship as she scrolled through the HoloNet on her datapad.

Abigail rested in her seat as she neared the agreed meeting point. She had stuffed most of her standard gear into a backpack and had attached an extra knife to it in case her partner hadn't brought one.

Her partner, yes, today she would be going on another adventure, but not alone. Today she would be accompanied by Bethany, Yasha's adopted daughter. Their paths had crossed thanks to the spark of love which had been created between Yasha and Abigail's own mother, Alexandra. It was funny how love could bring even more people together than those that were actually in love.

After having landed in a relatively open clearing, Abigail grabbed her things and hopped out of her ship. Well, it wasn't really her ship, but that wasn't important.

With a bow attached to her back, and a blaster to her hips, she wandered towards the other ship that seemed to have landed a while before her. It didn't take her long before Abigail saw Beth leaning against the ship, and the adventurer then wandered over to her friend.

"Nice suit", she said with a smile and as a greeting. She then laughed before she moved closer and pulled Beth into a short hug. "It's good to see you again, it's been a while."

Beth was fairly focused on her datapad before she realized she had heard the crunching of branches and leaves. Beth perked up with a grin as she slung her datapad quickly into her backpack and walked just a little bit before meeting Abby halfway. In truth, Beth had never been on an adventure like this. Even more awesome was that she’d be with Abigail.

Gotta be ready for anything, out here in the wilds!” She teased in return as she gave [member="Abigail Meredydd"] a hug in return. “Too long! Why do we do to ourselves? We really need to see each other more often.” Really, she loved Abigail to death.

With a smile, she nodded towards the direction of the relics they would seek. “So, from what I understood, and correct me if I’m wrong… But, we should be heading West towards that lake place on the map. If rumors hold true, there’ll be a bunch of stone lodgings built into the cliff with a cathedral like thing a bit north of it.” Just to make sure, she reached back into her bag and pulled out the datapad with more instructions along with its built in compass feature.

So, yeah. Hopefully we won’t meet any baddies, but! I think we can take them between the two of us. And I also brought cookies plus some other snacks. So… I think we’ll be set for a few hours at least.
