A Trail to Dathomir: Republic

Above Rendilli...

In a contingent of Kro Var vessels, Royalty descends upon a small world within the surrounding territory of an Empire that dwarfed the small existence of the Kro Var Empire, exemplifying it's goals. It was here however, in search of a friend. Not particularly with the faction effected by this small voyage, but one far off in the distant horizon. A small jewel in the sky harboring friends of one similar to the one, that these strange, primitive peoples have come from. To Dathomir, they venture, but through three mighty Empires must they first, pass through.

The second mighty Empire, was a more familiar place in Kro Var history, home to the heretics of the Kro Var way. Like the Empire before it, it was not one to be trifled with, as if they had ever saw the Kro Var as some sort of target, they could very well wipe away their existence in this cosmos forever. Thankfully however, Emperor Etarn had been put under the impression that this faction only sought peace, in the name of justice. He only hoped that his, and their justice were the same, for his Empire's own sake. As this would be a most opportune time, if that at any moment they decided to strike he and his daughter dead, as without the Emperor or replacement, most likely the entire system would collapse in civil war once more.

Even more dangerous, he had decided to bring his daughter with him, the heir to the Empire. He had various other children that could fill in her role, should she parish with him, but this would be against everything he had ever dreamed of. He didn't dare however, to exclude the Throne to the next of kin to his daughter should he and she die, in his will, least they try to make an opportunity of it. But at any rate, the Emperor and his Princess had gone on a trek across the Galaxy to meet old friends of whom Kro Var had not yet met. He brought her along to teach her the game of politics and diplomacy, and little Ruye Etarn, is frustrated with her father, wanting no part in anything he has to do as Emperor.

Princess Ruye Etarn, sat once more upon the bridge of the ship, seated next to the Great Throne of the Emperor Haru Etarn, the legendary Earth Shaper and Savior of Kro Var. The young 16 year old girl, looked away from her father at the stars of this alien world, slouching in boredom, with her head propped up by her arm once more. She had gone through this already with Omega Pyre, and honestly did not want to go through with it again. It seemed that nothing goes exactly as planned, and they had arrived a bit delayed in their coming to Corellia. Beside her, her father sat straight up, in absolute perfect posture. His face was stern, and ever-serious. His beard was to a point, and his head gleaming slightly. His bright yellow robes were wrapped around him, with his hands in his large sleeves. Hardly a change had been noted from a situation very similar to this, that had occurred only but a short time ago on the edge of Omega Pyre territory, in Kinyen. She didn't understand him one bit, and hardly tried to. A communications officer asked for the Emperor's message. Patching it through, the officer listened as his Emperor spoke once more to yet another great nation.

"I am Emperor Haru Etarn, of the First Kro Var Empire. I come to this world, on the edge of your borders, to request passage through your territory, upon the route of this, 'Hydian Way'. I request to you, a proposition that may lead to further business and friendship, between Kro Var, and your vast and great Republic. To the benefit of us both, I ask that we may meet diplomatically, to allow us passage in the future, and other agreements that we may settle on. How do you respond, to our humble request?" He father finished. Ruye didn't even do anything this time, so bored out of her mind of her fathers total and utter moronic ideas. She didn't care about Dathomir much, who cares if in the past those literal witches thought something about us? Well, she did suppose that the Republic at least had some history with the Kro Var, allowing them to fight in one of their wars, even if initially their ancestors had reacted to the Jedi with hostility.

She understood politics perfectly well and all, she just hated the fact that she was forced into it. She hated it. In fact, she might even escape from her father a bit, and play with the locals with a few 'magic' tricks. She smiled at the thought, as from what she gathered, Jedi were serious like her father, so then little children would be surprised by her little games she imagined herself playing with them. She frowned slightly at the thought however, that the Jedi were probably serious, as it would explain so much about her stone cold father, whom she knew his secret. Also, it didn't speak well to her of her opinion about the 'Guardians of Justice across the Galaxy'. She pondered thoughts, as her father droned on.
