A Trade of Knowledge

The Sage sat inside the Baran do temple on Dorin. Naturally, he did not have on all the apparatus that they usually bear when leaving the planet. Since, while quite dangerous for others, it was pretty much the one world they were completely able to go without it in. He held in his hands his staff, the lightsaber on the end of it. Meditating, feeling the weapon, the crystal, becoming closer to it. He was patient, already he was exactly the type of person who fit with the Storm Crystals used in the hilt, patient, meditative, and generally lacking the darker emotions. But, what he did lack, was the skill.

Xos was a warrior, yes, in techniques of the Baran Do. He had learned numerous matters in the force, and knew many techniques in martial arts and use of the quarterstaff. But in a lightsaber? None. He had learned the way to create one, but not to use it.

The Temple was an open area, mostly, one could enter and leave at their leasure so long as they didn’t pose a threat or become concerning to the Sages. Though it did have a transpiristeel fence, this was generally ignored as a reason to prevent entrance. The estate was quite large, but along the path from the entrance was the Temple itself, a large dark building, with two massive utterly black walls to symbolize the two black holes of their system.

Though daunting, the Sages were fairly welcoming to outsiders, if attentive to their actions. Xos himself had greeted many individuals in his time with a range of backgrounds, and usually departed on good terms with them. Today would certainly be no less interesting.

Seth honestly wasn't a fan of the breathing device he was now currently wearing. Though he supposed it was preferable to fighting these gasses, and hoping rumors were true. Seth took a moment to recognize the fact that sometimes he took simple things. Like oxygen being around in most environments he worked on. Which really he should be more appreciative towards in the long run. Moments like this was a pretty good awakening to such simple truths.

Seth wouldn't of been here without some sort of goal. Though he did enjoy traveling. Traveling without a form of purpose, was vacationing and in this galaxy. Vacations were rare to come by for members of a galactic organization. With that on mind he headed his way towards the temple. Upon arriving and doing a small tour to find a place to meditate. He noted the fact that this place seemed docile security wise. Which made some level of sense, it was open to visitors of all sorts after all. Though it was still something different to take note of.

Seth found himself a place to kneel down at. This was the first time in a couple weeks for meditation. Seth had been busy practicing archery, light saber combat, his piloting skills, and other bits of practices in hopes of further refining his skill in them. This was a different form of training. Seth pulled out his lightsaber and his lightsaber shoto. Placing them to the right side of himself. The shoto on the inside closest to himself. The lightsaber on the outside furthest from himself. He then closed his eyes and centered his mind. Soon slipping into the current of the force, and reaching out. Letting it lead him and showing him the life around the area. While also allowing him to connect to the crystals beside him, and helping solidify how much even the simple things sometimes taking for granted are all part of a larger scheme.

If one was to view Seth in the force. Well, they'd see it flowed through him in a manner it flowed through few. He was practically a conduit of energy. One which while mostly unshaped held a vast pool, with extreme depths. This is partially why Seth found meditation within the force to be second nature to him. He and it, held a deep connection, and a mutual understanding and respect for each other now. Though there was still a scar from a long time past. It was mostly mended by this point. Though despite vast it was currently peaceful in nature. Currently being the heavy key word, Seth had been the storm before, and when that occurred. Well... He was undergoing training to help control his emotions for a reason.

Xos began to walk down the halls, until he paused, a presence, unfamiliar, but strong in the force. It wasn't incredibly unusual for Xos to feel things like this, with his almost nightly visions and regular meditation, and the type of people he'd met with in the past, but regardless, it was something that most certainly attracted his attention. He walked down the halls, his staff barely a tap on the marble floors as he did, turning, down a path, the presence growing stronger, each step making it stronger, and bringing him closer.

The Kel Dor looked eventually into the room, the force flowing through the man intensely, but another thing piqued the Sage's interest, the two lightsabers beside him, a Jedi then perhaps. He ran a hand across the upper piece of his staff where his own lightsaber was hooked in, this could be a chance to learn. But, he would not dare interrupt a meditation unless it was important, so he sat down outside the room patiently waiting, running his hand along his own weapon in thought.

He looked into the air, but wasn't focusing on the force, he was feeling, listening to the way that [member="Seth Brackson"] interacted with he force. Sensing the way it flowed, the strength, the familiarity. If there was one thing that Xos was good at, it was the force, even when he didn't want it he'd always been close to it. He would wait until the Jedi finished to speak to him, even if it took hours, Xos had the patience for it.

Seth remained still for awhile yet. Despite a lingering presence nearby. It wasn't too uncommon for him to find. People with deeper connections to the force. Tended to draw to one another during times such as meditation. Sometimes for the better, and other times for worse. Though in this instance Seth would of been a little more pro-active if he felt the presence was hostile in it's nature. This one seemed more observant than anything.

So, Seth went back to studying the flow of the force. Now moving to how it connected to the world around him. He could respect the foundations of this temple. It felt like it held quite a bit of history to it. Though when the time came Seth opened his eyes and carefully stood. Letting his blades slip back to their respective holders. While he turned towards the direction of the watcher. "Does it ever cease to amaze you, the way everything from the smallest of organisms to the largest of worlds, are all intertwined? How irregardless of whether it moves through the light, or in the shadow it always seems to know it's path?" Seth spoke out to his observer finally. He was young still. At least in certain aspects of the term. An adult most certainly, though only a few years past being so.

Seth looked to Kel Dor and studied the man. Waiting just a moment before he provided a polite bow. "How may I be of aid?" He inquired. While he straightened up to his full stature. Being of service to people was still a new concept to Seth. Though in a place like a temple, he would certainly be the last individual caught dead doing his order wrong. In addition the individual whom was before him had been considerate enough to let him finish his meditation. The least Seth could do was see what it was the man was seeking.

[member="Xos"]

In time, the Jedi eventually came out of his meditation, it was no bother to Xos to have waited. He heard the man speak, to him, about how everything was connected. About amazement. To which Xos shook his head, "Never, no matter how many times one meditates on it, it never grows old. Not to me." he answered honestly, Xos though, was an easily pleased man, and he knew it.

The lightsabers had returned to their places but were still on his mind, especially once Seth asked if anything was needed and stood up, to which Xos also rose, they were just about the same height, though certainly, Xos was a bit older. He bowed in turn before holding the lightsaber piece which might be recognized now that it was detached from the rest of his staff, as indeed, a lightsaber with a wooden handle. "I had a question for you, if you could teach me how to use this." in spite of being older, and a teacher himself, Xos didn't feel the slightest bit of pain to his pride in the concept of asking this visitor for help. It was a matter he didn't know much about, while this person might, so why not ask, "And, if I can, perhaps there is something in return I can offer?"

His voice was rather soft and friendly, not an awkward question from someone who felt it wrong of them to ask for help, nor a prideful command from someone who felt they deserved it. It was just a friendly request from someone who felt the need to do so. "I'm Xos Drikre, I, made this myself. Unfortunately, we do not have the training for a lightsaber. I can apply some techniques of the staff, but that is limited. I was hoping you could help me after I saw your lightsabers. I'd also compliment your meditation by the way, it is nice to see people doing well in it. Always gives me joy."

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth studied the tool the man showed to him. A lightsaber. One with a wooden hilt and a simple design. Seth could respect the simplicity. His own hilts were made slim, and simple to make easy to conceal, but practical when needed. Then listened to his request. It was a practical one to make. Though one which Seth needed a moment to assess. Quite frankly he wasn't sure he was the best teacher. Never have before been placed in a position to teach. Though one did not learn their limits without testing them. Yet, he would need to do so in an honest light.

The compliment to his meditation was a nice addition. "While, I am honored by your words. My teacher is whom you should give the credit to. Without his aid I would not be where I am today." Seth expressed in response. "I believe while there would be people better qualified for giving such lessons. I have enough knowledge with the tool to pass along what I know and give you a clear direction in it's use." Seth expressed while he looked around. "We'll need a good open ground for it however. My lessons will be a bit hands on in it's approach. It is the best way to learn how to use them."

When the man offered to pass along knowledge in return. Seth nodded his head some. "Would you happen to know of some technique, or techniques I could utilize to redirect, repel, absorb, or disrupt energy based attacks? Without obviously the use of devices, or armor." Seth said and almost shivered at the mention of armor. He honestly had a grudge against using such clothing. It felt unnatural and sluggish to be in it.

[member="Xos"]

The Kel Dor's positive response to the answer could certainly be felt, it was something Xos had just come to do naturally, as to outside species, it could be hard to tell by facial expressions what they were feeling due to their unusual features. "I am most certainly grateful. If we can, we can simply head outside, there is plenty of room on the grounds to practice without interruption." he said cheerfully. He didn't mind Seth's comment about not being the most perfect individual to do it, one had to start somewhere. And even if he did go to someone more skilled then Seth, he'd still have to start at the beginning.

As the Jedi mentioned what would be convenient to help him with, a defensive technique, Xos clasped his hands together, "I do, three technically but I believe only two may be convenient for you. Here, this is also something easier to practice outside." he said gesturing for them to walk. His aim was to go out and find a place to practice where they were sufficiently alone, which wouldn't be too hard, the estate was rather huge.

If they did start walking he would speak again, "I believe the Jedi call the one Tutaminis, we just like to call it force absorption, though it certainly does more then that. But barrier will be easier to apply in battle so we should go with that, it is, as you can imagine a very useful technique for us since we try and protect people from environmental dangers. Make a wall or, well, barrier, that protects against both physical and energy attacks. Best to be prepared if you're stuck out in the open when a storm comes. The other one is temporarily imbuing an item with the force, but you already have a lightsaber, so I can't imagine that would do you much good."

[member="Seth Brackson"]

"I believe I understand a little about the third option. I had a staff my first mentor made for me when I was younger. Which he had imbued with energy." Seth nodded his head. "Though, I will trust your judgement and most certainly be eager to learn this barrier technique if you feel it is best to do so." Seth walked along side the Kel Dor named Xos Drikre and waited until he was outside. Where he let his main lightsaber slip up into his hand and began to tinker with it. "There should be a switch that adjusts the intensity of your lightsaber. You're going to want to adjust it down to it's training setting. It will still cause minor burns if struck with it, though nothing too serious, and obviously nothing life threatening." Seth explained as he lowered the intensity of his own blade.

Seth then returned it to his belt. Ready for when the time came for it to be drawn. "First off we need to start with the Beggining. Activate your blade and begin to move it around. Feeling how it flows when you swing with it, and jab with it. Try and find a natural flow and an understanding of blade placement." Seth expressed.

[member="Xos"]

Xos nodded his head, as he responded about what to go with, "If you wish to learn the others, we can still do so. I just believe that the more efficient, and quicker to learn, method." as they came outside and [member="Seth Brackson"] brought out his saber, Xos put his staff to the side so that he only had his lightsaber in his hands, and when told to adjust the settings he did so,

Activate it, and feel it, Xos ignited one blade, and then the other, just as a saber staff. He breathed in and allowed it to move in his hands, he was taking care of course. Because the way in which he was using it was not dissimilar to his quarterstaff. So he had to remind himself not to grab onto the blades or use his legs to increase change its momentum by hitting or blocking it.

The blade had an unusual color that shifted even in the daylight, sometimes a dark, while in other places fantastical purples and blues, and around the blade striations like lightning rolling along the blade. He was closely connected to his crystal, which did give him a good feel for it as he moved, mimicking many of the techniques he used with a quarterstaff, at least, the ones that he could still use for a lightsaber.

He was testing it as told, and moving swifter and swifter as he did so, his cloak flowing neatly as he moved. He eventually moved off from just using the techniques he knew, to simply experimenting with how he could feel where the blade was, regardless of what position or way he was holding it, how he might hold it behind his back, or moving it around his body, how he could hold it by moving it under him while leaping over it to a side. They were not all applicable, but he wasn't told to practice technique, he was told to try and understand the placement of the blade, so he was doing that. It was apparently much easier to feel through then the staff, no doubt, this was due to the crystal, but it was quite pleasant.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Seth observed the Kel Dor activate his blade. A saber staff.. Essentially. Well, actually a multipurpose lightsaber. Seth noted to himself. He himself had been trained to use all forms a lightsaber might come in. Aside, from a lightwhip and a saber pike. He'd also been trained to combat the various style barring the ones mentioned. Though really it translated nicely to the concepts of dealing with exotic weapons.

Seth felt a tug at him and shifted a little uncomfortably. That blade had special properties.. And he was pretty sure one of them was targeting his psyche. Implanting a sense of danger. Seth wasn't unfamiliar with the darkside. As such that taint was still enough for the storm crystal property to hold some sway over Seth.. Though probably not as powerful had he been an individual who clung to the darkside devotedly.

Seth had to take a deep breath and supressed his emotions. He wasn't the best at doing this. Though again he could credit his mentor. Who was a Jedi Shadow who also knew of the darkside. Who trained him the techniques to calm his emotions and act with his mind as a co-pilot and the will of the force as the driver. He needed to stay within the light, and let it be his anchor against Xos' blade.

When he was calmed, and when the Kel Dor began to wield it. Seth studied the manner of which Xos did so. Hmm.. Staff fighting was a nice place to begin with. Though a saber staff and a staff had to very ways of being handled. Mostly because as Seth noted the Kel Dor took into consideration. If you tried to grab anything beyond the handle. You'd find in a best case scenario. Your hand extremely burned.. And a worse case. Well, a hand might not be the only casualty in combat.

He observed the Kel Dor get a feel for his weapon. In the mean time. Seth studied the arcing electricity. Another property of the blade likely. Seth was curious about something. He activated his blade as the humming and crackling broke the silence of the air around himself. Then studied the intensity of the blade.. It was a bit stronger than normal. Though not nerely to the extent of a full storm. Which was good. He didn't want to have his blade be too intensified out of fear it might seriously hurt his sparring partner.

He made some practice swings with his blade. Then looked to the Kel Dor and nodded. "I can tell you've got a good understanding of how your blade feels. Now it is time to turn it into a manner which is suitable for combat. Might I inquire if you feel more of a defensive natured fighter, or an offensive natured fighter?" He asked Xos in an abnormally calm manner. Which suggested Seth was focused somewhat on suppressing his own emotions.

[member="Xos"]

The saber-staff was the closest thing to Xos's own weapon as he could get, though he could choose to only activate one blade, either for a simple single saber, or to attach to his staff as a pike of sorts. Xos was attentive too his blade, he didn't quite sense the swaying the crystal had on Seth, though he barely glimpsed the uncomfortable shifting. He hadn't seen the crystal's effects often, most Baran Do were pretty calm naturally, and when they did have trouble. He sometimes simply had to remove it to try and help them first, but most could learn to control their emotions while around him by now.

Fortunately, Seth didn't deal with it to long and was able to put them to the side. That was fortunate for both of them, it could make training on both parts difficult. Naturally, Xos was unable to totally utilize the techniques a saber staff could employ. He didn't have the experience of using a lightsaber at all, so he only knew how to reapply the quarterstaff techniques he had and have some basic idea of how to understand it's placement around him.

He did take note of when Seth activated his own blade, soon then they could begin perhaps. He heard him speak and the Sage slowed down halting to think, holding his weapon in one hand to the side and listening, he hummed to himself, he could definitely hear the change in the mans voice. The crystal's effect, the Jedi had adapted, wonderful, made things easier. He didn't question it too hard, he knew people had issues, sometimes ones that stuck with them. But if he could control it, then he was not lost to it.

Xos nodded emphatically as he responded to the question, "Defensively, no doubt on that, if I don't have to attack, I won't." he said completely honest. To be fair, he hoped he'd never even have to use the weapon, but best to know how if he did.

[member="Xos"]

Seth nodded his head when Xos responded to him. "I can respect that. Conveniently, I have begun studying more recently into a defensive style. Which jedi refer to as Soresu. Provided that it was designed for a single bladed lightsaber. Some techniques will of course be out of the question when handling a saberstaff. Though, in turn some techniques will open up in your favor." Seth expressed. While he began to pivot his blade in circular motions. "Soresu works by conserving energy and momentum. You do not focus your attention on heavy striking, you do not waste energy on solid and static blocking. Instead you focus on initiating just enough contact to redirect what you are capable of redirecting, and just as importantly evading what needs to be evaded whilst holding your ground." Seth expressed. "Most times circular motions of a tight nature would be your basic approach. However, the lightsaber staff has a different rhythm to it."

"Tight techniques are often times not suitable for a saberstaff. Though the circular momentum is still a very key component to it. Not only does it allow you to optimize your coverage area. An opponent unfamiliar with a saberstaff will often times get disoriented, feel intimidated into backing off, and allow you to keep some distance which plays to the strength of your weapon. Like staff fighting. Your techniques will be better suited when you have a good range of motion to work with. If an opponent locks you up too close, you won't be able to so easily work with the sweeping nature of your staff. Additionally, always be wary of the Sun djem opportunity. If I was in a duel for my life against you. My obvious best chance to gain the advantage would be to find an opportunity to strike your hilt, and sever your blade in two. No weapon, means less threat." Seth spoke calmly. Hoping he wasn't overwhelming the Kel Dor with trivial means. He then de-activated his own blade.

"Irregardless. All the words in the galaxy will not help you gain experience and understand. Therefore, I will demonstrate by allowing you to take the offensive first. So, I can show in practice what you are going for. Please transition your weapon to a singular blade, considering that is what you will be defending against when I take my turn on the offensive.. Then also be warned that my lightsaber and shoto have a very unique property when they first meet another lightsaber. I would recommend using the force to dampen your vision and hearing.. And make sure you have a strong and firm grip on your blade.. Additionally. I would recommend if you could perhaps telepathically ward off any passerby civilians and sages. It might be to their benefit.. It has quite a concusive and almost indiscriminate reaction to anyone beyonds myself and one which I have yet to find a means around." Seth spoke with a somewhat hopeful nature to his tone.

From there he moved a pace away from Xos. He focused on his few lessons. Then when he was ready he placed his left foot forward pointed towards the Kel Dor. Extended his left arm with his palm open and facing forward towards his opponent. He drew his right arm back the opposite direction with his lightsaber in hand. Then activated the blade once more. Letting the blade run parallel to the length of his arms and across the length of his torso to also face Xos. "This is the first opening stance for form III. Of course not so applicable for a saberstaff." Seth expressed as he then adjusted the blade turning it to face upwards and drawing his left arm back to grip the lightsaber with both hands on the right hand side of his torso approximately chest height while his left foot and side remained facing Xos and he got in a slightly firmer posture. "This is the brace ready stance. This is the most similar stance to what you will be wanting to take when both your blades are active." Seth explained to Xos. "I am showing all three styles. As this will also help you identify an approximate idea for what another jedi might be going against you with." From there Seth holding the same footing raised his blade above his head and angled it downwards. "This is the final posture. It is a parry focused stance. Considering, I am focused more defensive this time around however."

Seth proceeded to go back to the first stance he showed. "While designed to handle mostly blaster wielding foes. It was designed so well defensively. That it is a good way to ward off most any situation when you are skilled enough with it. The downside is.. Unless the opponent exhausts themselves and becomes sloppy... Or are just ignorant. Finding an opening to strike is a very rare occurence." Seth explained. Plus, this provided a chance for Seth to work on his skills both defensively. Which was a need. As well as later offensively. Possibly after a break, because this first engagement was going to be somewhat taxing on him.

Xos nodded as [member="Seth Brackson"] began to explain, Soresu he said, he mentioned things being inefficient for it, while others would work better. Xos began to mimic as Seth demonstrated the moves still speaking. A technique all about efficiency, that felt like a good plan. Get things done, and move onto the next. It sounded like it would work well for him.

He recognized the limitations mentioned about close range of course as mentioned. But he didn't believe that he would be totally inefficient if someone tried that, Xos was a martial artist before he was a swordsman, if it came that close, he had the techniques to work with it. Though of course, he couldn't do as much damage with the blade itself. The disorientation method mentioned sounded like another good idea, since the unusual blade ever changing in light was already disorienting enough in the right lighting, it'd make it even more unusual.

Seth Brackson said:
Additionally, always be wary of the Sun djem opportunity. If I was in a duel for my life against you. My obvious best chance to gain the advantage would be to find an opportunity to strike your hilt, and sever your blade in two. No weapon, means less threat."

Xos had to hold up a hand, "I understand the threat, but," Xos focused on the hilt, utilizing the same method he'd used with his quarterstaff when necessary, imbuing it temporarily with the force using Force Weapon, "I had mentioned this earlier, as long as I can keep hold of it, the hilt itself is safe."

He then put the hand back on the weapon and continued to listen. He was certainly full of details, but it wasn't all to much to handle. At least most of it was things that he could convert over in some manner, or had to alter to fit. He was quite grateful he had learned martial arts and the quarterstaff in advance most certainly.

However he was then instructed to convert it back to a singular blade, which Xos did. He had to cock his head when the Jedi mentioned he should dampen his senses, Xos was quite used to doing the opposite, "Very well." he said calmly, he focused, using the force, working to bolster his resistance to sensory damage while also testing and making sure nobody was quite near enough for what was mentioned. Fortunately, with as much room as they had, it wouldn't be too hard to avoid that.

Xos adjusted his grip again, and held the weapon in a preparatory stance, defensive most clearly, but watched as Seth demonstrated stances. The first one indeed seemed unwise for Xos's own uses of his weapon. He watched the next to stances, these felt more fitting for his style, the weapon kept in preparation for minimal movement, but good efficiency.

Again the Sage nodded as Seth explained the stances, and finally took his own, explaining just how good of a defensive stance it was. He'd most definitely be using that, Xos had good stamina, if he could tire out his opponent simply by holding on long term, he had no issue with that. However, Seth had mentioned he should attack this go around.

"Alright, I may mention, let's keep from going overboard for starting. My crystal generates lightning of its own accord, so unless I'm paying attention to it, it may strike at you. And given my lack of experience on this matter," He chuckled humbly admitting his fault in it, "Well I imagine I may not do the best. But I'll try."

When Seth was ready, Xos would breath in, first holding the blade actually quite close to his face, meditation, swift, a mere second, and then motion, his body moved forwards and the blade remained close to him, the first strike was a simple strike from the top right, making sure he guarded his senses but also preventing the lightning which was bound to strike out when the blades connected from hitting Seth, rather choosing for it to simple connect the two blades until they disconnected sufficiently.

[member="Xos"]

Seth could only nod in response to Xos' correction about the disarming technique. There was ways one could offset that weapon force imbuing. Though no method which would yield quick and favorable results. As it would expend a lot of energy of the user who was already fighting a battle of attrition against a person who has an advantage in such fields.

When Xos made his approach. Seth took a step towards him. He was appreciative the Kel Dor was being thoughtful towards not wanting to sear him with lightning today. Though there wasn't much to do about his own lightsaber's effect considering it was an area of effect blast. The warning was the much he could do, and the rest would be up to Xos. It wasn't fair. Though there wasn't much which could be done about it.

As Xos had almost closed the gap Seth moved his lightsaber tp intercept the blade mid air. Where he chose to help direct the blade on it's giving direction. Though in a manner where it moved it away from his body all the while turning his body and stepping to the side to help further guide this process. As again the point of Soresu wasn't necessarily meeting force to force. It was about controlling the strikes to where you could avoid them.

Of course in this time. The concussive first contact of the blades meeting was executed. As a loud crack, a bright flash shot out around the area. While an added bit of force slammed into the lightsaber of Xos. Though provided Xos was prepared he could counter the effects and remain in the game. Meanwhile, Seth finished the loop once the blades disconnected and was in a position where he was facing Xos with his blade at the ready.

It also helped that Seth's already strong force signature seemed to have a pretty hefty spike. Though it came with a price following it. Which is why Seth was looking into the art of Soresu himself in the first place. As if the fight couldn't be finished in the first few moments. He needed something to conserve what energy he physically had left.

[member="Seth Brackson"]

Of course force weapon did have the disadvantage of it didn't really protect his hands. Sure he could just use force barrier or absorb in it's place, but regardless, the more abilities one tried to use at once the more difficult things would be sometimes.

So the first moves were made, Xos attempted to dull his senses to a degree while still keeping the lightning of his blade in check. It kept him rather distracted from the actual moves he was making unfortunately, but he was patient.

They moved, the blades connected. Light filled his vision as a loud crack hurtled through his head, Xos turned his head instinctively and felt his body believe it was losing balance as the blade continued through when they were released, Xos gripped tightly as he felt another impact with his blade. And took one quick step sideways as his eyes began to readjust, spinning the weapon in a defensive fashion rotating it around his wrist using a telekinetic grip he used for the staff sometimes. Sightly lopsidedly though, due to the sound imbalance for another few seconds, thank goodness for the warning Seth had given him already. This would have been immensely more disorienting without it. His vision was returning as well, again thanks to dulling the senses at first. But his sense in the force was perfect still, Seth had risen somehow, enough to be easily worth noting. Because of the crystal surely. That was a special type of crystal indeed.

"Well, that's very useful isn't it. Quite a nice blade you have." Xos added with a chuckle as he blinked rapidly but began to move regardless, he breathed in and brought the blade forward again, in a simple up ways move from the right left which was intended to be glanced. He fully expected it to be blocked this time, having now experienced the particular manner in which the previous one had been, he could be more prepared for it. The idea was to bring this one up, and then when it hit, move back around towards the leg. Minimal power involved, but in a realistic combat setting, it didn't take much force to cut through a leg with a lightsaber. Not to mention if Xos wasn't taking considerable care to avoid the lightning strikes snapping at Seth's legs or blade.
