Forever in the Light
Aiden quickly found his way back to where they began. He slowed to a stop as her blade pierced the chest of her adversary, clearly no need to rush now. What they had set out to do, it was accomplished. She turned to face him, the corner of his mouth began to curve with a small smirk. A nod of his head followed.
"You fight well, very well."
Truth be told, Aiden hadn't seen too many Mandalorians in action, not since the formation of the Naboo Republic, when Theed was attacked by the Neo's. That was almost two years and some change ago.
“So,” she said, “know any good places to eat around here?”
"Unfortunately, no..." Aiden voiced honestly as he moved to stand next to Adelle. "I did see, on the main street, amidst all the fighting..." Aiden began, pointing back up in the direction of the main pathway. "Up there, go down roughly thirty yards or so. There was a restaurant that was advertising something that looked damn good."
Aiden crossed his arms, his mind thinking more on it.
"Some protein meat wrapped in a doughy bread-type thing. I was only able to get a glance at it. Leave it to me to think about food during a fight. But Jedi have to eat at times. I'm open to giving it a shot if you are?"
The Jedi Knight snapped his fingers.
"Ah yes, forgive me. Before, formalities had stood between us, but now things are calmer. My name is Aiden Porte, Jedi Knight. It's a pleasure, my friend."
