Spaceports. They were the galactic version of taverns; a wretched hive of scum and villainy. But mingled among the bad apples were heroes as well. Some were more reluctant than others. But they offered a glimpse of hope in a Galaxy full of darkness.
Spacers had heroes too. And villains.
Most had a love of their spacecraft. Each ship had a name; and more often than not they were spoken of as though they were sentient in their own right. A spacer was lost without their ship, until a new one was found.
The Eternal Empire was growing, and with it was horrible acts of destroying said ships. Lori knew that well enough for her Mother had lost her ship to the EE as they conquered Zakuul. Now she was determined to get her revenge on them.
Sitting at a table in one of the bars of a spaceport just skirting EE space, Lori found herself carving graffiti. ~Eternal Empire=Eternal Nerfherders~It was childish, really, but she was sure that many would share her sentiments. She even included a little emblem, a sort of mix between Republic, Jedi and a skull. It was a work in progress, but she imagined herself as a hero from one of the holomovies that left a calling card for her enemies to see.

A few people passed her by, giving her looks that varied from concern to disappointment. But Lori didn't care. She was a girl on a mission. Or rather she would be soon enough, once she figures out where to strike the EE first and how.
